Unfortunately I won't be there as my primary CoH character (maybe next time) but I *will* be there as the most appropriate contemporary comics hero character if you consider that The Nexus Crisis is a confluence of a number of different realities, I work behind the scenes, and this occurs in Queens.

Anvil's Angel...will be the Raggedy Anne Costume.
Mine will look like to the non COH eye, as a 6'2" Jowa from start wars. LOL
Just for the record, I will be dressed as Guy Gardner The Green Lantern. Kevin will be ... well I guess he's keeping it a secret for now.

While I'm there I'll show you my Silver age lantern tat and my 1990's kyle rayner tat. one on each arm. The next one, I 'm getting soon. It's the chest logo of the Dark Lantern. From Green Lantern: Legacy.
Yeah I'm still finalizing my jacket... Took a biker leather jacket and have been modding it for three weeks, ripped off the sleeves, painted it green, duct taped the pockets and zippers, painted again and again. The collar is trickier then you'd think.
I mostly picked guy cause I don't exactly have a six pack of steel. Its more of a keg, so the jacket helps alot.

Grew up in Astoria, Queens, so I'm pretty familiar with Sunnyside. 
Although I always went to Forbidden Planet on 59th Street...

Yeah well I know Queens having grown up here. Lot of Paragon City/NY similarities. NY has Astoria and CoH has Dark Astoria, Glendale where I live now has Atlas Park Mall which is a large open area shopping mall with fountains and every time I go there I feel like I should level up but instead just end up going to Chilis. Go Figure!!

Yes. The 27th is Saturday. The Methodic Movie Premiere is at 8pm and the Masquerade begins at 10pm So you can come at either time.

ComicsOnline.com is hosting a Halloween masquerade party in New York City called the Nexus Crisis and hopes Heroes and Villains will be represented at the event. The two "masterminds" behind the scenes of this event are long time players of City of Heroes Terrence St. John and Kevin Gaussoin. Both Kevin and Terrence are players on Champion Server better known there as Tanker Titan TL and Controller Trance of Earth.
NC Soft is donating Good Vs. Evil Editions of the game to be awarded for costume prizes and is ensuring each attendee gets a 14 Day Trial code, to use themselves or to give to a friend who can join the fight against Lord Recluse or Statesman depending on their ethical leanings. Every good hero could use a good sidekick and every villain can find a use for a decent lackey.
So if you're in the New York area or willing to travel to the event, keep in mind it is being held at a nightclub in a restricted zone which requires all heroes and villains to have leveled to age 21 before they can come join the party. It might not be Pocket D but it's the next best thing. Information about the party can be found at:
