That's a link to a file on your computer. 
You need to put it online before we can look at it.
OK. Two things:
1) In order for people to view your screenies/references, you have to upload the file to a hosting site such as photobucket or imageshack.us ... what you pasted is a local path on your system. No one else on the Internet can see that file, unless they hack your system.
2) Best way to get freebie art is to hang out, check out people's work, offer honest constructive comments et cetera, and when an artist says "Hey, I'll draw the next X characters that get posted" you jump quick to get in line. Otherwise, expect to pay SOMETHING.

You need to register for an account at an image hosting site.
Personally I use Imageshack. However, many other folks like Photobucket.
Once you've registered, walk through the steps to upload the file.
Also, I note that you've got it in .bmp format (windows Native). This is a very large format, which takes up considerable time to upload/download. If you have the ability to convert it to .jpg (JPEG), I'd recommend doing that.
And no it's not just a matter of changing the name. You have to actually convert the file.

everything is too close to the same color...seriously vary the tones up more or change one of your colors completely. Your costume is uninspiring and really doesn't make me want to do even a free art piece for you (not that I'm much of an artist at all).
Hrmm.
Turbo's right, you need some contrast up in there to add some interest. even moving one of your two color choices up or down the hue scale (darker or lighter, to get it away from the other one) would help.
Also, don't be afraid to add accent pieces/colors if you need to.

Edited to say: I wasn't trying to be rude or off putting, it was just a literal statement, that what gets me more interested is knowing the back story of a character. His origin maybe, a quirk or two about them, what made them the way they are.
I'll take a stab at this one, but it's not gonna be my best because all I know is that he flies and uses fire. So anyway, apologies if I offended anyone, and stay tuned...

Another fine piece, though it looks slightly funky in some areas. The fingers look really short, though after a while I assumed that was because his fists were clenched. The face also, but in the end, the picture just works well.

Gimme a break it's a colored doodle at best... the flames took longer to do than the drawing. My apologies, but I was going for mood... (and yeah the hands suck lol

Sometimes you don't have to ask, sometimes the character concept is enough to inspire someone to draw it... like so...
Also imho a critique of free art is not required unless the artist asks you to do so, in fact an unwanted critique is something I personally find off putting.

Ive heard artists posting they need a hero to practice on. And if any want to Draw my character that would be great cause i really need a picture of my guy flying. i dont have any money on me really but i might be able to fork some up. but if someone could to it for free that would be Awesome.
