Ravaging WIP
Oooooooooo this is gonna be so sweet! What a great pose and perspective. I love he mid-footstomp!
I'm digging the angle on this sketch. It's still really rough but it already looks very dynamic and conveys a sense of strength. Very nice work.
I'll be following this thread.

I'm glad he's meeting your expectations Kilo. You have a fun character to draw. The shot is actually right after the Footstomp landed, and he's going into a Knockout Blow - my swing still needs a little work .

Thanks Attache,
I've read 'How to Draw the Marvel Way' as I've approached each drawing. They really harp on picking interesting angles. It takes some time to place the elements together, but there is far less down-time trying to fill up the scene while in progress. I know I posted it in very rough form, but when a painting is shaping up it's hard to wait on posting it.
Thanks for following Kilo's progress.

You asked for a buff, chiseled, sweaty, hunk of man for my next illustration. It's good to know Kilo is everything you hoped for His abs got an overhaul in today's update- I hope they meet your approval.
You'll have to control that drooling before I put the inks on... he's not waterproof.
looking awesome! then again I'm always excited over new Kilo art.

I'm planning to do commissions soon, and have been working on projects to illustrate my range of services. Kilotonnage was kind enough to offer his likeness for my second design....
Sketch in Progress
Every lunch hour I'll work on this further, and update the link with daily progress. Once inks, then colors are started I'll post new links in this thread for each.
Constructive criticism is encouraged - this style is fairly new to me.

Sorry this is moving a little slow Kilo - it's been a busy week for me.
Can't wait to see this colored myself. ^_^

*kicks DA* omg load the image!
Doesn't seem to want to work for me.
Edit: Yay finally got it to work! Oh man I love the shading!
Kilotonnage Colored WIP is well under way now.
Very cool! I like the angle and crater.
I dont think it needs to be colored... the style and the black and whites go perfectly!

Thanks Wolffe - I love the Footstomp power, and couldn't imagine any better angle to display it.

Igniitus, you're not alone. Even after the colors were finished on my Radey Ayte illustration, I got comments that people preferred the black and white version. That's all good. I'm displaying each with the intent to offer all three as tiers of service: Sketch, B/W Illustration or Colored Illustration (maybe Oil Painting too). Preferences may vary as much as affordability
I [censored] love that angle soo soo much. I also envy your 'cross hatching' which my skills lack greatly in. I'm +watching you on DA!
I absolutely love it. This is one of my favorite Kilotonnage pieces. Black and White or Color its fantastic. Thanks so much!
Okay, maybe I'm alone in this but...
*drool*
that is all ^_^

Thanks Dirtwolf. You've got a cool style going already, and I imagine any cross-hatching might clash with it. Thanks for the :+devwatch:

However may I recommend oil instead? Or even better, light rivulets of water falling down...
Hmmm so.... about those dodgers *whistling and runs*
