I'd find that to be rather enjoyable, and maybe a little smoother way of getting into PvP. I'm not much of a PvPer at this stage, though I have been learning to win the occasional fight. Do you have a server in mind, and will it be starting with fresh characters?

QFT, sounds interesting. The only villain of mine that I can think of that'd be interested is my mastermind, of course he's lvl 12, so new characters may be in order just to make sure we're all in the same level range.
I'd be game for this. May i recomend the arena for this tried this in PvP and to many outsiders kep spoiling it.
Could always use Bloody Bay. I swear if I've ever seen anyone there it's just because of the shivans.
I'd be down for a rival, if you still need one. I'm assuming virtue?

Thanks for the replies thus far, folks. It looks like:
A) There is a certain degree of interest in this kind of thing, but
B) Nobody's done it yet, or if they have, nobody on the RP board knows about it.
I'm going to make a couple queries in other forums and report the results here. If there really isn't anything of this type in existence yet, I guess I'll have to see what I can do to organize it.
Incidentally, if people are looking for a gentle introduction to arena PvP that isn't as RP-oriented, you might want to check out Giza Fight Night, which generally gets announced every week on the Virtue boards and runs Saturday at 8 EST. I know the people who run and participate in it - they're great guys and highly competent PvPers who are happy to give tips.

This is why I do the following:
Heroes on Freedom and Infinity. (Which is the busiest server (Freedom) And, so far the Nicest Server (Infinity) )
Villains are on Virtue and Pinnacle. (These are in order of the most RPed servers, plus, pinnacle is the unofficial 2nd most PvPed server.
Freedom: I keep this on the list, just in case my current server is lacking players, or if I'm making a new character, for when I get my Infinity Characters to 50. For some reason, I also split my RP characters between two servers. The twins, for example are Burning Fang (Infinity) and Freezing Justice (Freedom). I'm not sure why I do this, though.
Infinity: Is the server I am most active in. It is also the server I plan on getting my first 50.
Virtue: While most of the RPers are on Hero Side, I do enjoy going to Pocket D for some good 'Ol fashioned RP. 
Pinnacle: The is my second most active server I play on. I enjoy any RPing I can get my hands on, but in the end, I'm just there to get my first villain to 50, to PvP a little, and to stay in touch with friends.

So yeah, going back to the OP, should we have a scheduled event at Pocket D or a PvP zone at timed intervals? (ie, every Wednesday, every fourth Saturday, etc.)
After getting Bear to fifty my altaholism has been unbearable. This might be what I need to focus on one character again. (Keeping up with the rest of you guys.)

Pfft, my highest level villain is Blind at level 23 on Virtue.
Well, technically, the highest villain (and character in general) on my ACCOUNT is level 32-33, but it's a friend's.
You know I have a problem when I have my 36 month award, and MY highest character, started from the beginning, is level 30, when my friend started on my account six months ago and has a level 32...
It's almost upsetting.
I've been there before...

A year and a half, and only level 36. I don't know how I got my Mastermind to 41 either... To tell you the truth, I'm not sure I even remember touching that mastermind past level 21! O_O

I'm really not sure whether to ask this here, in the PvP forums, or somewhere else. I know what I want, but not how to get it.
I'm looking for enemies.
I've had a fine time with a great group of PvE/RP players, but one thing that has always bothered me about our play is that our heroic and villainous characters are at the very least not hostile toward each other, and are often friends. This works well for this particular group, because they're mainly focused on player-versus-NPC stories, but I really feel like I'm missing out on a lot of potentially interesting scenarios.
What I'm looking for is a paired set of heroes and villains who are each other's sworn rivals. I want to create or join such a group, and contribute to an ongoing story of conflict between heroes and villains. I want to exchange barbs and threats over drinks in Pocket D. I want to exchange blows and blasts in the open PvP zones and the arenas. I want to create and foil nefarious plans, and not just the same NPC-created ones over and over. And I want to do so, not with total strangers, but with people who I can trust to value a good enemy over a cheap ganking.
I would very much appreciate any help in finding something like this - or if nothing like this already exists, I guess I will have to make it. Thank you for your time and patience.
