Aside from the Vampiresse (and victim), both of whom look awesome, I reeaally like what you did with the graveyard. The foggy, cob-webby, dark feel it has is supurb. Oh! The gnarled shrubbery sillohetted (sp?) against the moon too.
Excelent piece, as always!
I love this picture . Your best work without a doubt.

Oh wooooowwwww....
This turned out AWESOME.
I'll bet Hems is beyond happy.
"City of Heroes. April 27, 2004 - August 31, 2012. Obliterated not with a weapon of mass destruction, not by an all-powerful supervillain... but by a cold-hearted and cowardly corporate suck-up."
Wow....that just kicks so much [censored]!
very very awesome
Wow
i just got this in the mail.... the details are almost scary, i lubs it!
thankies Graver!
Thanks for the kind words on this one everyone! I'm really loving how gouache handles
And Sarrate, I'd have to say that the background was my favorite part ot actualy do. It really feel together quite nicely at the end.
Well in the end though, I'm most pleased that it arrived safe and sound at it's destination... and in record time too!
Just in case anyone here has forgotten that I exist, I bring you another painting, VAMPIRESSE!
Initially, I thought I would have some clever title for this one once it was finished, but once it was all said and done I found that the characters name was all that needed to be said. Either way, I want to thank everyone for their constructive comments on this one. Though not all of them could be accommodated, I hope that I have come to a decant smiling and happy yet content and unconscious look on her victims face. However, thanks to the wonders that is gouache paint, if it still isnt right, I can still change it. So, pending any last minute changes Hems might require, it is finally finished! Yay
Now, on to a nice elvin couple that needs finishing, a large nasty brute with a torn off arm and more spatters and gushers then you can shake an amputated limb at, and a possibly intense work of a particularly famous couple. All too come, so keep your peepers peeled! Oh, and if anyone has some spare time laying about, any old minutes that might be gathering dust in the corner or an extra hour tucked away under the bed, I could really use more time in a day
Offwards to more painting!
