2nd Annual PK Spring Fling! (April 14, 2007)

2nd Annual Spring Fling hosted by the Paragonian Knights on the Virtue Server!

Come one, come all to Faultline! Last year we rocked Spanky’s Boardwalk in Talos with fun and games this year we bring it to Faultline to celebrate its revitalization and the wonderful season of Spring! There will be music, fun and a large swimming pool / hot tub to enjoy. Swimsuits are optional but encouraged! We will be set up near Mirror Spirit which is just a hop, skip and a jump from the Pocket D entrance!

Following the tradition set with last years Spring Bash and last Fall’s Extravaganza the Paragonian Knights will be hosting and giving away many great prizes! Music and commentary provided by our friends at RadioFTW! Suburbanhell will be spinning all your party favorites and requests!

Among the prizes will be City of Heroes Collectible Card Game cards, lots of influence, Paragonian Knights merchandise and Halloween costume salvage. This year we will be giving away two grand prizes! If you have attended in the past, you will remember these wonderful art pieces by Poison given to our winners of the costume/bio contest. This year we are going to take it to the next level and give away an art commission to the male hero winner done by Jomaro Kindred of MMOArt and the female winner will receive a commission by Poison of Rpvisions! All paid for by the Paragonian Knights!

The rules of the bio/costume contest are simple. We will not line up to be judged. Simply find any PK member at the event and get their attention to have them judge your costume and bio. They will then send me a tell if they are wowed by your costume and bio. The more original you are the better chance you have of making the finals. I will then comprise a list of 6 male and 6 female heroes. Once that is done, I will announce who they are. From that point I will choose 4 random heroes from the event to choose the winners. These 4 heroes will not be Knights. In the event of a tie I will make the deciding vote. The winners will be announced at the conclusion of the event at 11:00 pm edt. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.

This is shaping up to be another huge event and we would love to see as many of Virtue’s bravest there as possible! Come RP, catch up with old friends or make new ones! This event is open to everyone! Come join the fun!!

I know I'll be there but who should I show up as...Speedster or Wonder.....

Only your Knight characters are ineligible If I made every player in the Knights ineligible it would be a very small competition.

Awesome! I can not wait to see your costume. Looking forward to giving away that MMOArt and RPVisions commissions We also plan to give away some PK swag (t-shirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads.....thongs )

Yo art forum peeps, just a friendly reminder and some follow-up info on the contests for the 2nd Annual Spring Fling hosted by the Paragonian Knights!

First off the Commission Artwork Contests. I have gotten more than a few PMs asking what I am looking for in a bio/costume. The answer is not that simple since I am only one of many that will be judging throughout the evening. Heck, I am not even going to pick the ultimate winners! Just show up and mingle, either find a Paragonian Knights SG member or wait for them to find you. Feel free to switch to whatever costume represents you best and then back to your swimwear. As we close in on 11:00 pm edt I will choose a group of finalists and announce who they are, I will then choose judges (4 for the male winner and 4 for the female winner) and let them pick who will win the prize! As stated before Poison (RPvisions.com) will draw the winner of the female contest and Gill Bates (MMOArt.com) will draw the winner of the male contest! One hint, originality wins big points for me. Also, don't feel obligated to join any of the many contests. You can show up meet old friends and be introduced to new ones while grooving to party music by Suburbanhell and RadioFTW!
