I have to tell you boys..very amusing...very. My tale is the flip side. My husband bought the game. He had been playing it for 3 months. The kids made "toons". He kept begging me. PLEASE sweety, just try it. At this point 20 months later, i have 2 accounts-GUARDIAN is full on BOTH (for playing WITH the kids dear...) 3 50's and 2 about to hit 50.
If my hubby, could take advantage of the I11 timetravel feature, im positive he would NEVER EVER ask me to make a toon!

All good advice! Let me share a secret of my own with you:
My wife was NOT used to playing any kind of FPS or 3D action game. Therefore, getting around was a big frustration for her at first.
I STRONGLY suggest that you get TELEPORT FRIEND as soon as you can. That way you can get over the control issue that may frustrate your newbie wife. Also, you make sure that she particiaptes ONLY in the exciting part of fighting foes and NOT in the sometimes extremely boring travel part.
I found that for a long time "Teleport Friend" was my BEST friend when convincing my wife to play. After a while, my wife was able to make her way around with no issues and I was able to respec out of TF. But seriously... pick it up ASAP. You'll never regret it!
