okay, in the last few minutes I've added even more to the list thanks to SuperMaoriFulla's DA CoH/V Friend's list.
Just to warn ya'll, DA doesn't want you to have more than 64 icons (8x8 square) in your journal. They may yell at you. Just a head's up 
Another thing you can do is link to your 'Friends' page like http://rowrsie.deviantart.com/friends/
The only downside is that is just your friends, not everyone you watch.

I'm not exactly sure of this but I think you have to be subscribed to get that "Friends" list option....
Yeah, "Friends" is a subscriber feature.

To get it listed on your PAGE, yes you have to be subscribed. HOWEVER, if you just link to yourname.deviantart.com/friends (manually add the /friends on the end), you get the text list.
Wow....and I thougth there were a lot of people before...hours of browsing and adding. I'm exhausted!

Yup. Posting their artwork & linking it back to the original artists. Featuring artwork on a rotational basis etc. etc. Any features or announcements you could send notes & it could be posted on the journal. Like I was talking to someone about that earlier, it can be done with like at least a few people who have the time & dedication to do it.

Okay... I know it's campy, but I got "CityOfArtists" as the deviant name. If someone can come up with a less-stinky one, by all means go for it.
No matter what name we use, we'll definitely need a subscription (which I can do, just not this exact moment) to get the full benefit. This will allow us to post thumbnails and manage messages much better.

Commission samples
WIPs
Featured Artists, maybe Featured characters? (Maybe someone with a little less face time than TA and Bucky
