Wow, thanks man! That's awesome. I really like the shading you've done on his face there. He looks great!

Nothing is more exciting than getting artwork done for you, I think, and when it's a surprise, that makes it ten times better.

Thank you so much, Kilo. Way to make my whole day!

Thanks for all the kind words folks

Todays piece is Serengeti Lord a character I have always liked (Kilotonnage is riding on his back in the big group pic) SL did a great job on Kilo in "Streetstyle Smackdown" and I wanted to return the favor.

Hmmmm...a Speedy piece eh? He is on my list of inspirations, keep checking this thread, you never know when he will slip in.

My inspiration of the day is Kheprera for being a very helpful member of the art SG. Thanks Khep, hope you like the bust.

I love it. Thank you!

And I think everyone here, in the SG or not, is very helpful

So true, so true, I guess that makes my list of inspirations quite large

I think this is the perfect time to add that there are some people, Antihiro (Krar) and Roxstar come to mind, that have inspired me to draw them and the only reasons they have not been drawn yet is I am sharpening up my skills before I tackle the rocky hides of those two.

Just wanted to add in that your art is looking better with each one of these you do, I can really see improve between each piece.

My inspiration for the day is Striking Speedster for making Crey's TOTW.

Now that wasn't such a long wait, was it Speedy?

I'm with you, Kilo. There are people who's characters I want to draw, but I need to freshen up my skills. There was a time I could do a sketch a day. Now, I'm lucky to hit once a year!

Time is a factor, in addition to inspiration, drive, and conflicting other things. I've got some pictures of my own characters that have never been finished. My scanner hasn't even been hooked up yet.

I hear that Khep, I have zero time at home to sketch. I have been doing these at work during my lunch hour. Its about the only free time I have.

Today's lunch hour sketch is a bust and there is no character that I think of more when I hear the word bust than Invincibelle She kept her costume intact for this one.

I drew it from this screenshot as reference.

Thats awesome, man!! You need to change the thread title

Just one thing to look for in the future, the shoulders are a little hunched, like she's cold.. They should be a little farther from the neck. But all in all, these are really fantastic man, keep it up!

Thats spot on critisism BAS, I was thinking the same thing about the finished product. I normally have about 45 minutes to work on these, today I had 30 and the loss of 15 minutes show.

I love it, thanks Kilo! It's a great surprise!

I am very proud of my next lunch hour sketch submission for 2 reasons, 1 is I think its one of my best. I worked on it for 2 days instead of 1. Second is I took a totally different character drawing, seen here , and made it into one of our own fan art favorites: Juggertha I used the same pose.

Your welcome Juggs. I came across the Colossus pic when I was searching your DA page for pics of Juggertha to use for reference. I thought that would be a great pose for Juggy. Sorry I didn't have time to add the axe.
