Sandolphan's Revised MM Numpad Pet Controls
The Mastermind binds master has spoken.
/em bow to Sandolphan
Thank you for education, Sandolphan!
Also thanks and thanks again. Because of your binds, in the short months I've played Masterminds they have threatened to debunk Controllers as my favorite AT. I've a Beast/Pain MM who's surprised me by already getting over 47 levels of fun. (I usually burn out on an alt while early-20s.) They are so fun that I also started a Bots/FF and then a Demon/Thermal pair of alts, both already over level 26 within a few weeks.
Once more, thanks Sandolphan for turning the most challenging AT into the most fun!
Finished running Animorphosis (Beast/Pain MM) to level 50 today. Thank you again, Sandolphan, for these binds that made the journey a real treat!
The section of the Guide titled "COMMANDING SUBSETS OF PETS" there is a chart showing how to issue commands to multiple groups of pets at the same time.
Specifically, to do so for the tier 1 and 3 Robots (ie Battle and Assault together), use the letter 'A' or 'L'. For example:
/petcompow A goto
Because the powernames for Battle and Assault share an 'A', both will respond to the partial word of their names (or in this case, single letter from the powernames). Notice the Protector Bots do not have an 'A' so will not receive the command.
Try this method in your command text file, in case the problem you are having stems from sending multiple commands to the separate groups.
*side note to Llydia: The use of underscores in commands (petcom_pow versus petcompow) is completely optional. The parser ignores them. I only used them in the text files for clarity of reading. I had to remove all underscores in the bind version because the length of the binds approached the 255-character limit.
Good luck!
