H'taed simply continued to hum his little tune and weave patterns in the air. The purple energies gathering around him had thickened somewhat.
A saw-disc of hardened air flew at H'taed from around the edge of their little platform. 4 more followed shortly thereafter, all from that same spot
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
((we're on a platform? We're in a STOMACH!))
H'taed just continued to hum and weave.
Right before the wind strikes hit...
There was a huge explosion of meat, gore, and blood as the entire floor suddenly burst upwards, forming a protective cacoon around H'taed. Thed sharpened wind strikes tore the wall of meat to shreds, but left H'taed completely unharmed.
The cacoon slowly sank back into the fleshy floor.
H'taed continued to hum and weave, however the pitch of his voice was a little lower, and the energies about him were getting bigger and bright by the second.
((We are now :P Where else would we be anyway? In the stomach acid?!))
H'taed felt a gust of wind go past him and the energy he was weaving was suddenly gone. Still, Krystell was nowhere to be seen. Another saw-disc flew at H'taed, still from that same spot. Then another, and another, until there were 10 air saw-discs of death hurtling towards H'taed.
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
The energy that had been blown away simply floated back towards him.
Bu Krystell was probably able to see for a split second that the energy was gone...
There was a tiny little black dot in between H'taed's weaving hands.
Then the purple energies blocked her view again.
The same thing happened again, however. The floor erupted again, and the cacoon reformed, completely blocking all of the wind slices.
The cacoon sank back into the ground.
"Ok, the wind is getting annoying. MY PET, STOP THAT WIND!"
Suddenly the air in the stomach seemed to get...heavier.
"My pet her has sprayed a special chemical into the air within its stomach. It considerably makes it heavier, and makes it bond with carbon dioxide. I'm afraid you can't use anymore air attacks, considering the air in here is now so sluggish and heavy.
Oh, and you'll probably have trouble breathing as well. But as a being of almost pure energy, I don't have that problem."
Lord H'taed laughed, and continued to weave. Only now the purple energies were radiating around him at enormous speeds. It seemed whatever he was doing was almost finished.
Another gust of wind blew by and H'taed felt something bump against his armor. The energy around him was sucked after the gust of wind and drained into something that was going too fast to see.
Krystell finally appeared in front of H'taed.
"Actually, I'm not having any porblems breathing. I can control the elements remember? The air around my head is just fine. Heavier air does help me however."
A block of solidified air formed above H'taed and started to fall. At the same time a hammer of air formed in Krystell's hands. She spun around a few times and swung it at H'taed.
((No more being vague for me ))
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
Only the energy Krystell had power sinked away quickly came rushing back.
Lord H'taed, being in constant exposure of moves and abilities that drained power and energy, had formed a very high resistance to such effects.
As of such, his ritual was now complete.
"I'm sorry my dear. You're a second late. One second is one second too many, however..."
He opened his hands.
The tiny black dot was still there.
"Say hello to this. Its name is miniaturized black hole. I'm safe from it, because, well, I created it...And tghe dragon is safe from it, as it is composed of negative energy, and doesn't really exist in the mental spiritual or mental senses...You, however..."
H'taed shook his head sadly.
The block of solidified air was instantly sucked into the black depths.
The hammer of air was ripped right out of Krystell's grip, and it too was consigned to the Abyss.
And Krystell now felt the monsterous pull of the black hole herself. Super speeding would do her absolutel nothing now, she had passed the point of no return when she came in close to use power sink.
"Adios." Lord H'taed said as he walked merrilly away.
Wow, either H'taed was really stupid, or really forgetful. Krystell didn't even panic as she flew towards the black hole, she just oppened a portal into her Pocket in front of her and was sucked into it by the black hole.
"Well, that was fun."
Krystell sat down on the ground in her Pocket and opened a viewing portal into the Dimension of Mists to see how Alex was doing.
((The portal is as big as a Big screen TV to her but invisible in the Dimension of Mists. Your turn Alex. Now you get to fight the master of getting out of every situation.))
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
((I don't know, you're giving me a good run for my money. And if I'm right, Alex is supposedly even more powerful then you.))
As Krystell watched from her little window.
The giant eye came back. ((check my post underneath Thunderbug's previous post for the specs on it.))
It's gigantic surface completely eclipsed Krystell's view.
Several of the long green tendrils brushed against the viewing portal...
And the energies reacted with it...
Allowing the tendrils to seeth through the new window and towards Krystell.
"Now I can see why Lord Diov scrapped these retarded monstrosities."
Krystell blasted the eye with a blast of pure elemental energy the size of the Sun. The eye crumbled into a neat little pile of dust that was blown back into the Dimension of Mists.
((C'mon H'ated, trying to mess with Krystell in her own dimension? She could rip Lord Diov to shreds in seconds in here.))
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
((Sniker Sniker.
No. You couldn't. I have Thunderbug backing me up on this one. She knows what Diov can do.
He'd just sneeze and blow your dimension into nothingness, but that's beside the point.))
((I have a good idea of what he can do. In this demension though, Krystell can do more.))
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
((Sigh. How ignorant. You don't know ANYTHING about him obviously. Now can we please argue about this in PMs from now on?))
((lol, ok. Who's turn is it anyways? You or Alex?
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
((Alex's I believe...Dragon is conjuring a huge goo bomb thingie.))
((Like I said, at a friend's house. His keyboard is crappy x.x as for "backing you up," I don't totally agree with it, but I can see where he's coming from. Diov is a pretty nasty thing to get involved with. Generally only something near the power of a god would have a chance... luckily Keeper powers are reinforced by the Council, who's powers rival that of gods. Alex couldn't fight Diov alone, but with the Council's help she'd have a decent shot o.o))
"Little pet dragon. Don't you wish you were your own being? Not controlled like some pawn on a chessboard? H'taed is using you to solve a problem. He's too afraid to fight me on his own, so he runs away and sends you in! I'm sure he doesn't even expect you to live. He's only buying himself time to escape me."
She didn't acknowledge the growing ball of energy and goo, and her voice strangly could be heard crystal clear above the chanting voices.
"You don't have to die now. If you wish, you can stop now, deny H'taed's control over you, and I will spare you."
She shrugged, arms still crossed.
"Your choice."

The dragon paused.
~My master is not Lord H'taed, but Lord Diov. I am but an aspect of his will...And the actual chances of him bending to your will is a great deal less then zero. Needless to say, I know perfectly well I am heading for my doom, but anything is better then existing here in the Dimension of Mists."
The dragon suddenly seemed to smirk.
"And ask yourself this. Can 't you feel it? Many of the creatures here have free will. They could leave if they chose to. But why don't they? There is more to this place then first glance then it suggests. You do not know the secret of the Infinite Mists..."
Now the swirling spell had finished.
"But alas, my time upon this plane grows short. My rightful place between them and your world grows short."
And the ball of swirling energy suddenly shoit mforward..and stopped midair.
It began to widen, growing beigger. And bigger. And bigger...
The dragon faded and was consumed by its own spell.
The entire lower hemisphere of the dome had been filled by the strange stuff. And the sea of destructive energies was still rising...and rising...up toawards Alex.
-----
Lord H'taed yawned from outside the dome of energy, the traces from his last spell complete. He had reinforced the dome, Alex would have to have the power of the devil himself to burst through it now. And the anti-teleportation and shifting field he had erected might stop her to. He didn't expect this to stop her, but it would probably halt her long enough for the dragon's spell to do at least a modicom of damage.
Lord H'taed flipped the device, which he had recovered from the stomach of the dragon, into the air then caught it again.
"Time to go..."
And he vanished.
(I'll announce where he went next post.)
((Curse you work and making me miss all this great action *shakes fist* Hopefully you all haven't gone to bed yet :P))
Shoshemi reached the platform in time to see H'taed vanish. Inside the dome she could see Alex with what looked like black goo rising towards her. She paused in midair, hovering close to the dome as to ward off notice of anymore strange creatures.
Being a master of force field energies in her own right, Shoshemi took a moment to examine the field surrounding the platform. This one was well made, and almost impenetrable. Almost.
She then turned an eye towards Alex. This one seemed different than the others she had seen. After a moment, it hit her. A Keeper? That would explain the differentness ((hurray for new words)) Alex seemed to eminate.
With but a thought, Shoshemi moved herself closer to the field surrounding the platform. Her own force field merged with the larger one, and she was inside and beside Alex.
Perhaps I may be of assistance to you, Keeper?
((Oh, and Thunderbug, you could say that the Monks are similar to the Keepers. One could say they are worthy of being the next Keeper, but if not nothing would happen, that I know of. Same goes for those that would wear the Jinzu. One could say they have reached inner peace, and would be given a chance to gain the Jinzu without question, but the path would destroy them. So in that sense they're similar =D))

Krystell watched from her viewing portal as Shoshemi floated into the bubble.
"Hello, who is this?"
She plucked a scroll out of the air as it flotaed by her and looked through it. She finished reading it and threw it into the air, where it continued on the course that it had been following. So this one could control force fields. That might be useful.
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
((Maybe so! But it definitely isn't even close to being about inner peace, being a Keeper I mean. Alex is the least peaceful person you'll ever meet <.< Its all about the hidden potential. Generally, those who could become a Keeper show signs from a young age, anything from "disabilities" like ADD to actual super powers like Alex :P But anyway))
Alex lowered a hand towards the goo and it began to make a sound not unlike a high pitched whine as it slowed, but still continued to rise. She had sensed Shoshemi earlier, and her response came swiftly after the question.
"I believe you can. Its always nice to have one of the Li Long nearby. We should probably leave, before this gets much higher."
((Yeah, she couldn't stop it <.< She can affect reality, sure, but removing matter/energy completely from the universe would cause an inbalance, and anywhere she puts it could cause trouble eventually, seeing as its suh volatile stuff :P))

"Very well."
Shoshemi projected a force field around both of them and brought them to the edge of the larger field. The moved through exactly like she had come in.
She turned to Alex. "It took me three days to pinpoint and trace the movement of the device, I know you can do it in almost and instant." Shoshemi turned and looked into the mists, "And with all the chaos that surrounds us I cannot sense whether or not the device is still on this plane."
((Shoshemi has a force field around herself, but only because she projected it again, the one inside the dome merged with the dome.))

((I still think there's something faulty in your logic, but whatever.))
"Awww, yuck! I just got this armor cleaned too!"
Krystell seemed to be unaffected by the dragon chemicals all over her. If anything, it seemed to tick her off. She disappeared again, but did not reappear this time. H'taed seemed to be alone.
