"I just found a thing on E!Online with Kristin, talking with Milo Ventimiglia (Peter), and he mentions that the "scar" has nothing to do with his head being split open by Sylar.

For clarification, he's got his head painted with blood during the interview, and it's the cut he's getting from Sylar in "Parasite". He points to his head and says "No, the scar has nothing to do with this".
