Looks cool... and if she hurts herself, there's ice right there!

O.O So cool!
Scarf_Girls Official Kid Brother!
Very nice. I love the pose.
Beautiful work! I'm an ice fan myself!
((Note to self: Add color. That's not ice, that's the stone mallet, albeit upside down. She's a fire/stone tank.
..and thanks for all the compliments on the pose, but I swear I just googled for stripper poles... *ducks and runs*))

Well... she *is* a dancer, so it's very appropriate. The pose is the most awesome thing ever! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I can't wait to see more!

...and finally, Tephra Fire in color.

(I took a bit of artistic license with the highlights on her hair, but hey, it went with the rest of the colors.)

*nods* A piecemeal mostly-bogarted-from-highschool-art-class set of regular Prismacolors, a complete set of Prismacolor Verithins (which don't blend for jack, but are better for detail), and Uni-ball Micro/Pilot Precise V roller ball ink pens. Broke artists don't get the fancy stuff.
Thanks for the double well-done.

Very nice work!
This is a great piece! I really like the combinations of reds & orange blends. As I've said before, the level of detail work you put in is pretty amazing, and you manage a great palette of colors with the pencils.
The line work on this one kind of reminds me of Erol Otis' work - the slight angularity of her face and hair, I think. I hope you don't mind comparasons like this...I intend it in a positive way.

P.S. - I 'm so glad you mentioned this. I had been thinking it since you first showed us the line-art - but didn't want to sound crass. Of course, now that it's been said:

Thanks! I can't take too much credit for the colors, though, as they were Tephra's colors already. *shunts color compliments off on Ravenbane!*

Definitely not! Every comparison just gives me a new artist to google and enjoy.
