I don't know. There are definitely some that don't like art, and others that wouldn't know good art if it hit them in the face. (my grade 12 art teacher for example. I still don't understand how he got that job)

I want a tasteful and tasty artfully decorated woman shaped cake at the opening of my art exhibit of artistic photographs of women baking cakes and if any women want to wear icing and congratulate me afterwards.... well nevermind, I can't really work art into that last one.
