OOC: I'd be out of this padded box, for one.
BIC: Ghoul chuckled darkly as he stood up and thought about ther times he had been in the cage. He always liked it when someone else was there instead of him.
"Ghoul's gonna get changed," Ghoul said before running over to the stairs and pulling himself up, one stair at a time, to get to his room.
Statesman said let there be heroes, and there were heroes.
Lord Recluse said let there be villains, and there were villains.
NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.
Virelai quickly looked up at Essex, nodding enthusiastically, still suckling on her thumb. Her eyes grew wide at her request, a soft smile tugging at the edges of her mouth.
"I'd...love to, thank you."
She happily skipped and trotted along the way back outside, raising up one hand into the air as she went along. The water in the hallway continued to slick and slosh, this time of it's own accord, as it drug off of the floor and followed her, momentarily wetting the ground it trailed across, only to be dried completely as the naiad continued to command it behind her.
As she stepped outside, she stood on the porch, pointing straight ahead, eyes narrowed in concentration as she continued to exert commands over the element, trailing the water off the porch and into the grass.
After that was done, she stumbled slightly and shook her head.
Wow. That was surprisingly exerting... She mentally muttered. Likely because this was the most she had controlled in one day. She tasted a slightly sour, warm taste in her mouth and pulled out her thumb, a red, slick liquid dripping from it.
Blood.
She had been so intent on concentrating, she had bit herself.
"MISS ESSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEX!" She screamed as she ran back inside, sliding on the floor and colliding with a table leg.
2.0 stuck his fingers in his ears to quiet the screaming. He turned lazily toward where the noise had come from, and frowned when he saw the child slide in. He took his fingers out of his ears, sighing heavily.
"...Doofus." he muttered, walking over slowly. He took a tissue from his pocket, and handed it to the girl as he started pulling on her arm to help her up. "...Clumsy..."
Cobalt saw her mallet stuck on Ghoul's back. "Give it back!" She screamed as she climbed up the stairs after him.
"I am not..." Virelai sniffled, pulling herself up with one hand, then taking the tissue and wrapping it around her thumb. She winced at the sting of blood, wrapping it even tighter around herself as she cradled her arms close to her body.
Madre de Dios... It stung. A LOT.
She looked up at 2.0, fighting off tears. Big girls don't cry. She mentally taunted herself, squeezing her eyes shut to regain composure on herself. "G...gracias..."
"Give what back?" Ghoul said as he turned around, putting his fists on his hips in a defiant pose as he looked down at Cobalt.

Experiment didn't know what to do. He wanted to comfort the girl, but then, he didn't want people to think he was a softy.
"Oh, screw them."
2.0 shook his head, smiling. "No problem. You COULD avoid falling over more though, couldn't you?"
Sienna shank back down in size to be about 6 inches tall and fluttered over to land gently on Essex's head. Lying on her stomach Sienna leaned over Essex's forehead to peer upside-down into Essexs eyes.
Siennas antenna tickled Essexs nose* as she peered down at her with her green eyes and her fairy wings fluttering at the upper edge of Essexs vision. Sienna though smiling was still obviously out of breath from her earlier ranting distraction.
*If that is even possible.

Stell hovered over to Virelai with a look of conceren. Biting her tounge slightly, the khedlian child reached out and touched the naid gently on her shoulder. Kheldian energy pulsed from the contact, though with a more green tinge then it's normal briliant white. The cut and soreness around Virelai's thumb vanished in a tingle of energies.
Smiling broadly at actually managing what she wanted for a change. Stell leaned forward and hugged the other girl.
"All better now!" She chirped, just before she sneezed and exploded in a burst of light.
Virelai suddenly found herself being held closly by a multi-tenticled space squid.

When in danger, or in doubt; Run in circles, scream and shout.
"Grime..." said Blightlord, his voice nearing a snarl.
"I am inspecting it as best I can, my lord, but this state we are in, my powers are diminished to a point where-"
"I do not care if you can't even conjure water! I will be removed from this infernal cage at once!"
Grime sighed and attempted a teleportation spell.

"Squad, ACID NOW!!!!" Kaos shouted to his henchmen. Quickly he tossed a vial of acid to Blight. "Use this NOW!"
Radeator began attempting to burn his way out.
Static pushed a button on his armor.
Suddenly a holographic timer appeared, matching Archlich's. In fact, the two would go off at the same time....
"Fool, the acid does nothing." He hurled the vial back at Kaos, not really caring whether or not it shattered on the boy and melted him away.

The teleportation failed, the acid failed, and the bursts of radiation failed. Archlich had apparently made the cage defenses as strong as his door.

((TP? Static has a literaly TIME BOMB about to go off!))
The timer jumped for some unkown reason, to only 60 seconds remaining.
"Failsafe activated, have a nice day!"
Blightlord reached over and began throttling Static. "You insufferable fool! Disarm that explosive this instant!"
Grime was already working on a shielding spell, wondering what he could have possibly done in his mortal life to deserve this.

"Oops, musta swallowed a key." Static shocked the fool next to him.
Virelai nodded at 2.0, shifting from one foot to another, already missing the comforting feel of the thumb in her mouth. "I'll...try. I promise, I'll try. I didn't mean to upset you."
Ssshhhnnnnn...
Her thumb felt...strange. It was as if something was pressing against the tissue that was now wrapped around it, as if something was...regrowing. A quick opening of the tissue, and she saw that the skin had been repaired completely...the cut was gone, and every indication, including the pain, had vanished as well.
She responded by two actions.
First off, she swung it right back smack into her mouth.
Second off, she then spun around and nodded thankfully at Stella, her eyes fixated on the ground. "Thank...thank you..." She muttered, her arm wrapping around her stomach.
Third off, she let out a soft, muffled squeal as the Kheldian exploded in a burst of light, eyes growing as wide as dinner plates in fear as she stared right at the tentacles of the Nova form.
"You have my hammer behind your back!" Cobalt shouted, pointing at Ghoul accusingly. She continued up the stairs towards him.
The electricity danced around Blightlord's armor before sinking into the ground.
He drew a potion from his belt.
"You'll be losing the contents of your stomach until you reach puberty!" he shouted, crushing the vial over Static's mouth.

"What?" Shiro said, looking innocent.
"Your what behind Ghoul's where?" Ghoul sad as he twisted his head around to look behind him. "Ghoul doesn't have your stoopid hamm- uh..."
Ghoul reached around his back and pulled the hammer free of his pants. He looked at Cobalt and then back to the hammer. Then he grinned.
"Go fetch girly!" Ghoul shouted as he hopped up and threw the hammer away.

Essex held Naga comfortingly, bouncing the little lizardgirl. She very nearly jumped at Virelai's scream, but saw Experiment taking care of it. Still holding Naga, she crouched down.
"Are you okay, Virelai?" she asked, smiling upon seeing the girl's thumb back in her mouth. "Thank you for helping me. I really appreciate it."
With that, she moved over to a posterboard. A few names were already written on it like a chart - Rosalind, Brutish Ghoul, Toy Dispenser, Feliks, Lili, and a handful of others. Deftly wielding a permanent marker in one hand, Essex crouched down and began writing more names in. When she was finished, she put down the marker, and got a gold star sticker out of her pocket, putting it next to Virelai's name under that day.
"...When you do something especially helpful, you get a gold star. When everybody gets twenty-five gold stars, then we all go on a field trip."
Rosie, in the meantime, was still laughing at the unfortunate Archlich....when her dog-ears perked at Ghoul's words.
Cobalt soon saw a flash of black-and-white as the border collie puppy launched herself after the mallet that Ghoul had thrown, barking gleefully.

"To where Miss Cutey?" Shiro smiled, "I mean sweetheart." He removed his sippy cup and took several sips from it. He smiled at Essex and tried to give her a wink, but he hasn't quite learned how to be slick about it.
"Well, we'll all have to decide together, won't we?" Essex said with a smile. "Now then. We're going to be getting pizza for dinner, so if you are all hungry I'm going to make a light lunch. I'll try to make sure there's something for everybody, but you may have to remind me."
With that, she set down Naga, patting her head affectionately, and moving to the kitchen, where she promptly began to put together some sandwiches for the kids.
As Sienna flitted around, Essex laughed a little. "Why, hello, sweetheart!" she said in surprise, watching the sprite circle around. "Do you want to help me make lunch for everyone?"
((EDIT: I have no idea how I missed the pixie looking right in my face. XD;
