Battle_Angel (WIP her, wip her good!)
Hrm, ya, now that the shoulder thing is pointed out, i can definitly see that! Damn! I'll get on fixing that. Thanks for the input on that one!
Glad to help, Graver. Though I'm sorry for all the work you'll end up doing to correct this.
Na... I think for the sholder fix... no more then a day of work (tops... mybe just a few hrs and I'll have it corrected). This is why i post WIPs... it honistly sucks to have thiose things pointed out when the piece is done and all you can think is "By Gods Left Tenticle, why oh why did no one tell me this when i was still bale to do something about it?!"
*whew* Cool, glad to hear!
Only two not so good things really catch my eye.
The biggest thing is that on her left wing, the larger feathers on in the middle of the wing look like they're in front of the ones all the way on the viewers left. As I look up the wing, it's causing it to seem a little twisted...
A lot smaller is that her nose looks pretty flat :P Maybe just a little specular highlight or something for the bump of the nostril.
It's looking frikin' awesome though Graver
So, where ya been Graver - we missed ya.

I really dig this but...
There's just something about it that doesn't quite sit well with me.
I think it's the way that her left shoulder (to our right) is higher than her right, but yet her chest is level? Wouldn't having her bent sideways like that tend to cause her chest to shift in that direction as well? I know that corsets are fairly rigid, but... even so, it just doesn't seem like that rigidity is shown. The effect (to me) is that her upper body is out of proportion to her shoulders and hips.
I hope I'm not confusing anyone here.

No, you're clear. I agree, and was just about to do a second post about that very thing, but you've summed it up nicely. I think her left hand also lends to the feeling of it being out of proportion.
It's not that anything is particularly "wrong" with the piece, it's just that the relationship of the various elements gives it an oddly disjointed feeling.
