The Art of Ninja: Ninja Blade/Ninjitsu
I wanted to know if my ideas where ok, once you have a grip on the game, making toons, is easy. But people tend to make toons first without studying anything.
Great job on NIN/NIN guide. I enjoyed reading your prose. In the past year, I have come to hate and avoid CoV, but your guide is inspiring me to try the Red-side once more.
Maybe as a Ninja, I can be villainous.

A beautiful guide, one in which I shall use to it's full potential. But first, I've a few questions to ask and a request:
1) You used the term "perma" multiple times in your guide. I assume it means "permanent", but because of that I was confused when reading about Caltrops. Your description says it isn't that great, but you also said it's perma right out the box. Does this mean it's a must-have?
2) I understand what you meant by respecificating Gambler's Cut out of the build once your a decently high level, but what about Flashing Steel and Sting of the Wasp? They didn't sound too great in your opinion-and though I know it's JUST an opinion, still-so should we keep them as basic attacks?
Lastly is my request. Seeing as I'm going to be following this guide very closely, I wanted to know if I could get the name of your Ninja Blade/Ninjutsu Stalker. It only seems fair that I include the name of my instructor in my characters description.
1) Definitely not. Perma merely means there are no gaps between potential uses, thus, permanent.
2) You need to keep one as a basic attack, and I ditched Flashing Steel long ago. It's your choice, really.
3) My name is Kuretsu -- yes I know it's very unoriginal, but I was frustrated and all the good names that sprang to mind were taken.
Doom.
Yep.
This is really doom.
...Doesn't sound unoriginal to me...
Excellent guide, thanks. I had a friend back in The Day work on my spec with me, but you covered some knowlege gaps and mechanic details i didn't know. Very cool.
I've just dusted this guy off, and with the changes over the last few issues and maybe tweaking it a bit as per your guide (very similar to what i have now with 1-2 key differences), i have a better idea of WHY i'm doing what i've been advised to do . Thanks again and look me up if you're ever on Infinity!

It was sturdy, reliable, and allowed them to pick off targets while still beyond the range of smooth-bored rifles and high-powered recurved bows.
Remember, my friends, Hollywood is not the best place to study history.

Smooth-bore rifle is a contradiction in terms. It's usually called a musket.

Why is this thread bumped but my up-to-date guide hasn't gotten a response yet?

Excellent guide! I used it to build my now 49 Ninja Blade/Ninjitsu. I took blinding powder, Avalanche in addition to all of the defense stuff.
I took Mako's Waterspout and luv it. It's slotted with no damage but stuns and defense debuffs and I rely on it a lot. I think I wll take caltrops at 49 thinking it will make them try to run and attack less.
Proc up the caltrops, then you will like them.
Zero Gravity: Dunno if you want a critique, but that seems fine -- except for the KB enhancements in SD and GD.
Aether: There's a great one by Kane1 (I think) fluttering around here somewhere, so I don't know if I'll do one for Fire/Psi. I might though. Guide-writing is fun, if slow.
Doom.
Yep.
This is really doom.
