I would love to have one of these done. I just dont currently have a character that I think could be captured so nicely. I will have to work on some alts that have this quality to them.

First off, she didn't slaughter anyone; she arrested them... with a katana. 
And secondly, thanks all for the kind words! I'm glad this piece went over so well but mostly I'm glad that it has the Hems stamp of approval, that's what really counts in the end after all 
Oh, and as requested a couple of times, here's a slightly larger version of the piece, but it won't be here too long. I can't put the large one on photobucket and this one is just on a temporary host 'till I have my website up and active.

But....what's up with that left (her right) eye? It looks like there isn't any color in it.... I noticed it in the smaller scan but thought it might just be something that would become apparent upon closer viewing...but....it still looks a little weird to me

It looks to me like a little piece of something was on his scanner bed - caught my eye, as well.
But apart from that, it's a great looking painting, your detail work is awesome and as has been said you do great things with watercolors.
