I love the first one. It made me say "Wow," out loud. It's very heroic and reminds me of the Batman crouching on his gargoyle and watching over Gotham.
I like the second one with the opposite shots, also.

Screenshots should be made for desktop use. Action shots are good but remember if it's very graphics intensive ask yourself this question. "Will I be able to see my desktop shortcuts or see spots if I look at my destop to long?"
Screenshots can be anything, Action, Character Portrait, Humorous, edited for a more comic feel, etc.
