Fun With Demos

Those are great! I am partial to the dual wield katana pic as my fav, second by the fishing one.

I am working on one, actually. but to finish it, I need character data to insert.

Hey, any of you art-types out there want to be included in the demo I'm working on? I'd need your costume demo data, probably either email'd or PM'd to me. I'd also need to know your travel power.

I LOVE the pics . Great job. I dont understand how this all works tho. How are you getting statesman and such in your screenshots? Is this llike entering html code or something?

Pretty much, just a bit different on the format and actually viewing the darn things.
Here's a few links to get you started. You'll probably be seeing alot more demos in the coming weeks due to the fact that the 3RD Annual Film Contest is due to start some time next month...more than likely toward the end. But for a person to have a decent chance of winning they tend to start way ahead of time.

First of all, you really teased me with that link... I have been waiting for that next contest to pop up, and I thought I had missed it!

And you're right... I've been working on mine on and off for about half a year. Still a lot of work left to do, but I'm on my way at least. I assume lunar cycle has also been keeping a couple special ideas in mind, and has already finished them or is well on his way...

There will always be competition on this film festival, but he's the guaranteed competition. You KNOW he's going to put something up, and you KNOW it's going to be DAMNED good.

I've been working with the Demo editing, ad so far everything has been going great. I just want to know some more details about adding another character. Everything from the costume to MOV is fine, but the position (not the PYR) is confusing me. In the sence that, I want a Zombie next to my Hero. Maybe I should just re-read some of these wonderful guides. But in the mean time, isn't there a command that tells you you're position?

Other than that, these Screenchots/videos are awesome. Keep it up!

When you're playing, /loc will tell you your position. POS gives the position in demos. Remember the second number is the Z axis, not the third.

That's the AV Tyrant. Big AV filled story arc usually received from a PI contact in your late 40's.

What's the size entry? I see examples, butno infoon how.

It's the third number in the character description. My old demo format faq is still accurate for that number. (Though now there are a TON of numbers after it for all the sliders. I think I posted which is which in that topic somewhere.)

All right this might not be tto humorous, but I thought I'd post it, after experimenting with the costume code in the demos.

None of the villains will show up in a demo if they are the 3rd entry, I've tried all of them at this point. No idea why only as the 3rd entry.

I've been tossing the idea around in my head of learning how to do this kind of stuff, but just wasnt sure of it yet. This thread has succeded in convincing me to do it. Yippie! Now just have to start learning, the fun part.
