"Fool... You do not believe that the home of one of this city's most beloved heroes would not be extremely guarded? Not just by Longbow, I assure you. Devices, traps, mystical wards, perhaps even a few of the 'police drones.' I have studied her home, and I can assure you, it is too likely to fail for me to risk. I-"

He stopped himself. Something had almost slipped...

"I would like nothing more, than to see this mission's success."

"I said while she was sleeping, when did I say at her house?" Asuka grinned.

"I'm listening," said Blade.

"Well, it'd involve some work, but basically we need to keep her busy enough to where she doesn't return home. We wait til her guard is down, then have someone disguised as a longbow hand her some decaf coffee laced with a knock out drug," Asuka said, "I know a few that would work on her..."

"The amount of work it would take to tire Ms. Liberty and keep her from returning home would be substantial. And what has you convinced the other members of the Vindicators or even the Phalanx will not aid her? I believe the kidnapping to be the most effective and sure way. However, drugging her has possibilities to give Void Brawler and FireSpark more time. I shall go make a phone call."

He left the room, not listening to any further comments.

"Ms. Liberty is a leader, leaders require paperwork. We don't need to cause a ruckus, we just need to generate paperwork," Asuka said, "Heroes are notoriously aggravated by paperwork."

Yay, now I'm breaking into a vault with a bunch of weak minded fools.... Spark said to himself when he heard the comment about what his next task was.

Shortly after blade left, Spark felt a sudden heat on his arm. He quickly looked down at his wrist as he saw his fire-proof outfit begin to burn a hole. Before the smoke became noticable, Spark jumped up, grabbed a laptop, flew into the shadows, up to the second floor, and into his room without anyone noticing him, Or so he thought. He realized that Asuka barely got a look at him as he rushed upstairs.

Spark decided to disreguard what Asuka had seen and tried to control the fire that was just begginning on his arm. Whats going on? Why now? He thought as his attempts to control the flame failed, the fire spread higher onto his upper arm and stopped right before it got to his shoulder leaving ashes on the floor. He kept going through his thoughts over and over again as to what just happened. He took one more look at what was left of the sleeve on his arm showing the pulsing glow of the orenge ancient marks engraved in his arm. *sigh* These things only happen to me, don't they?

Spark fell to the floor as he felt his mind as if it were burning from the inside out! It was the stranger, only the pain was worse even then before. Why won't you leave me alone?! Spark demanded to the foe who was torturing his mind. I own you......you will never leave my grasp. He said as he left sparks mind.

Spark grabbed the bed and lifted himself up as he rubbed his head. That was fast. Hes toying with me now, trying to get me to unleash my anger He stood upright as he heard a sound from in the room, someone was watching him. "Just come out, you're not really good at hiding." Saying into open space.

The Ruby Blade nodded hung up the phone. Blightlord would supply a poison, but in request he wanted something from the MAGI vault. No matter. These simpletons could easily be fooled into obtaining another item for him.

Asuka saw the other fellow in the room run out of the room, seemingly on fire. That wasn't very odd, given he smelled of ash before he even entered the room.
Shrugging, she turned to Ruby and tossed him a vial.
"It's called Hyne's Blood, it's supposed to be able to kill a god. Since Ms. Liberty is a quarter god, being that Statesman is her grandfather and the incarnate of Zeus, a small drop should give the result we need."

"Eighth god," Ruby corrected, tossing the vial back to Asuka. "And I have an aquaintance aiding us already."

"First person I've seen turn down this stuff, guess you know about the little caveat involved?" Asuka smirked.

"I have heard rumors, but not much more. I prefer an item needed for an important task to pass through as few hands as possible, however."

He left the room, and moved to prepare.

"Ok wait...I thought this was just a robbery, now we're killing Ms. Liberty?" Shinji inquired.

"No, do you not listen, boy?" said Ruby Blade, his frustration with these inexperienced assassins becoming obvious. "We are going to incapacitate her, and steal the gem around her neck, then I shall administer the potion my ally has concocted to erase her's and her friends memory of the incident."

He was considering finding other pawns for this task, but no, he was too close now...

"I don't like the idea of witnesses..." Asuka said.

Posted

"The only witnesses that will remember the incident will be us. Now if you will excuse me, I have personal preperations to make. Rest tonight. We begin in the morning."

He opened a window, and leapt out.

As he fell, he used poles and ledges to flip off of to slow and ease his descent until he touched down on the ground, and faded from sight.

Asuka grumbled as he left, "Any witnesses are potential liabilities...I say we get her alone."

The strange person didn't seem to want to come out. He heard the another sound coming from the left of him, just as he turned, he saw a tail of a mouse hurry under the bed. Spark sighed and made his way downstairs. Spark just got a glimps as Blade lept out the window, while Asuka and Shinji were disagreeing about something Blade said... It seems to me I'm never around when they are talking about something important.

Spark sat on the couch somewhat close to Asuka and started fiddling with the sides of his laptop.... He saw Asuka Staring at his arm, so in an attempt to change the subject, "How do you open this thing?"

((OOC: I'm bad at this aren't I?? ))

(OOC: Ah...well you also assume Asuka would look at your arm...)
Asuka massaged her temples.
"Press the button on the front with the arrow on it then just lift up the top," she said.
Between the condescending new employer and the roundabout way of doing said job...she had a headache.

Void Brawler walked into the room. "I guess that's it then, we go to sleep, and tomorrow we start the robbery. See you guys in the morning."

He headed up to his room for another mostly sleepless night.

Asuka had a sudden idea after seeing the newcomer fiddling with the laptop.
Computer crime! Of course!!!
HeroCorps did have a computer crime division, and an attack on them would generate a lot of paperwork for Ms. Liberty if it did odd-ball damage...

She began typing a message to her tech-expert friend, Tetsuko.

((OOC: Good point I orgot about the arm.....and I wrote it! Well, I guesse I just thought this story would go differently once I stepped into the picture. Sorry for being kinda controlling.))

Once Viod Brawler went upstairs, Spark began to fiddle with the Laptop again. Considering he never used one, he let it configure so the buttons and little picture behind the screen was visable. Shortly after he tried to figure out what the buttons on the keyboard ment. Each one wasn't doing a thing. And he had to get out of almost destroying the computure after pushing Esc. a couple hundred times. Spark Began to fiddle with the backround for a bit clicking everything he saw. Each one popping up a window he just about never understood. Since he wasn't getting the exact results he wanted, he decided to quit and mabey ask someone tomorrow.

Spark went upstairs after closing the Laptop. He set the Laptop beside the bed and turned off the lamp. It was going to be a long night ahead.
