I think that best sharing page turned people off. I know it did me. :-/

Well, the comics are pretty big, 4 and 5 megs respectively in PDF. Is the a preferred large file host thats preferred here?

I think most people want to look before they download as well. I'm not sure I want to download a 4-5 mg item when I don't have any idea what it is. You could try having some kind of preview, small picture, thumbnail dealy.

Sorry, I probably should have mentioned that the third link (http://home.comcast.net/~vphil/fmcov.htm) is the thumbnail page for the covers. Only two covers have full comics behind them, links to them and the two Flash animations done for the group can be found there. [image]http://home.comcast.net/~vphil/cover16sm.jpg[/image]

Thanks! Glad you liked it. That was done mostly with Poser with editing via GIMP. We have a good time doing them. "Issues" that old don't have any comic content, we've only been doing that for the past three months or so.

Hm. Adobe appears to be brokened on my computer. Figures

The main problem I see is that you have your graphic settings really low (at minimum I believe) so it really ruins the enjoyment of the comic.

Now I know that not everyone has the best graphic cards (like me) but when I take screenshots I make it a point to raise the graphic quality to max even though it does get laggy it provides a much better look.

Thanks for the input, I really never put much thought on the graphics setting to be honest. The primary purpose was to see if it could be done. I'll experiment with the settings.

Sorry you're Adobe's misbehaving Rowr...

Ever consider converting each page into an image and making it into a web page kinda thing ?

I can look into it Rowr. Maybe make it so they can scroll through. I'll look into it. The small comic covers should all be clickable and link directly to the full sized image in case you didn't know!

Another thing you could try, there is a program out there called PDF 2 HTML - it will convert a PDF file into a small "web" of all the pages. I get it for free from my web host, and I think that you could probably google it and see if it would work out. It would alleviate the large download times
