The Game (Open RP)
"Waht the hell!!" said darkgun "first there are a thousand little bunnies, then a friggin huge one, now there is a [censored] giant telekinetic musketeer rabbit. [censored]? just my luck." He launched an attack at the large rabbit, testing the water.
The rabbit's eyes glowed, and Darkgun stopped in his tracks. With ease the rabbit telekinetically picked up his right arm and snapped it like a twig.
(OOC: Once more, because i don't want you guys making a fuss, don't worry if your character gets injured!)
"ARRRGH" yelled darkgun, "Good thing I'm a leftie, [censored]." and he spat at the rabbit. he put his left hand up and managed to fire a few flames at the giant beast. "[censored] you!"
The bunny levitated a dislodged metal rod near its feet, and proceeded to club darkgun with it
*EDIT* (Fixed error, since darkgun lacks a gun)
((darkgun dosnt have a gun, im sorry if the name is misleading, he is fire/fire)) The bunny pushed back the flames onto darkgun, burning him. "[censored] you, [censored]. ouch! [censored]! die [censored]! [censored]!!!" said darkgun, now really pissed off. When darkgun gets pissed off, he starts to cuss. a lot.
(OOC: Yeah that's actually pretty misleading...especially using words like "fired" rather than "launched". I'll change my previous post a little bit. Luckily a building was just leveled. BTW just like the rabbits and the hulk-bunny, there IS a vulnerability here. My hint is "ears")
Enough games Froo-Froo bunny intoned, swatting aside the fireballs.
With a thought, darkgun's other arm was rendered useless, and his whole body was lifted up and held in front of Froo-Froo like a human shield. She then turned him 180 degrees and faced him.
I dislike the words you use, human. Now you shall speak no more it stared deep within darkgun's eyes, and he no longer spoke. It was as if the concept of being able to speak was ripped from his mind.
It seemed to favor him alive, as a human shield, rather than dead, however.
Blind Messenger calmly watched as the buildings fell and the bunnies caused havoc in Paragon City. He watched a piece of debris come flying down at a citizen, and started laughing...
Except a spine flew through the air, attached to some kind of line. It wrapped around the citizen, and pulled him to safety.
--------------
Experiment 2.0, seeing a citizen about to be crushed, aimed his arm, and fired a spine. Attached, was an organic line leading from his arm, which made his spine a sort of grapple hook.
He caught the citizen and pulled him away right before the debris came crashing down. The citizen thanked him, and ran, as the spine came back to Experiment's arm.
"This is bad. How are we supposed to kill all these things?" Experiment muttered, stabbing a bunny. "Honestly, these guys like to swarm." He ejected two spines from his arms, impaling two bunnies.
Then, everything got darker... He could hardly move.
It was Blind Messenger.
-------------------
As Blind Messenger watched the battle, he could feel that everyone was having trouble. Experiment 2.0 was too into saving everyone in danger, Fire boy could not do anything to these fire resistant mammals, the thugs' bullets were being absorbed, the fire was not working, and the super strength Brute had his arms ripped off.
He decided it was time to help.
He aimed at the ground, as his zombies came to life. His three zombies minions started vomiting acid on the small bunnies, two Grave Knights came out of the ground, pulling out their swords, and massacreing the little guys, and an exact copy of Blind came from the darkness.
Blind aimed at the large bunny's head, and started shooting dark blasts. Then, he decided to slow down the rampage to calm down his "Allies."
He dropped a tar patch, and it darkened a large area around the bunny, and slowed everything in the vicinity.
(OOC: Um, the building fall killed the "big bunny" and the little bunnies, there's only the "psycho bunny" left)
(( Ah, I accidently said big bunny. Heh, I liked the idea of a huge bunny too much, it seems. Well, try and ignore the "Big" before "bunny" and think "Psycho." Sorry for the mess up! ))
The bunny's eyes glowed red, and the darkness surrounding it began to gather into a ball in her hand, dissipating the field.
I believe this is yours it intoned, and threw the ball of dark energies at Blind Messenger
"Oh cra-" was all Blind Messenger was able to say before the darkness enveloped him, and he disappeared.
However, off to the side in an alley, Blind Messenger leaned against the wall. He watched as his Lich, which he made look just like him, as mentioned before, was enveloped in darkness.
"What a waste of power." muttered the Necromancer, as he walked away quietly. He would wait until this whole thing blew over. After all, he wasn't in his "Zone" quite yet.
------------
Meanwhile, Experiment 2.0 was able to see again.
"Oh, good, darkness is gone." he said to himself, and looked at the Psycho bunny again. "Now for some fun."
Experiment 2.0 looked around quickly, his mind formulating a plan in almost a split second as he saw pieces of debris and other street items laying around.
He ran to a street lamp, slicing through with one of his spines, and then twisting one of his organic lines around it. He tied it into a sort of boomerang with the strong lines, and ran to a piece of wall that had been dislocated from a nearby store wall.
He pulled out two bricks from the rubble, and pulled a small object from his belt. He placed it between the bricks, cutting out a small circle, and wrapping them together with a line.
Then, running to a lamp post, firing a spine into a small section of the back, turning the light on. He made sure everything was in place, and turned to get his aim on the bunny. He aimed his makeshift boomerang, connected a line, and connected the end of the line to the power box of the lamp.
He kept the brick on a nearby bench, the other side of the bench right under a loose piece of wall in a building. If he timed it correctly, and the bunny did what he wanted it to do, the brick would then fly at the wierd creature, and create a blinding flash from the small flash-bang device.
Of course, he never thought that maybe, just maybe, the boomerang would be too heavy to get to the bunny, which really implicated his plan to throw it around the neck of the creature, and pull it into the street lamp, causing it to be hit with an electric current, causing the wall piece to fall off, hit the bench, and send the brick flying, so Experiment could fire a spine right into the creatures face.
But hey, he could hope...
(( Hehe, just had to get one of his wierdo plans in there. Sorry about the long description, but I honestly thought this up in less than 30 seconds, and wrote down, what, the whole plan? ))
As Blind Messenger walked away from the battle, he felt a searing, burning sensation all throughout his body, which got worse the further away from the rabbit he got.
(OOC: What? there are boundaries! In Gantz, which this is based off of, if you left the area your head would explode)
As the pain grew, Blind felt like he had to turn around.
And he always followed his instinct. Which led him back to the bunny. And Experiment messing with some wierd doodads which looked like mishmashes of stuff off the street.
At which point, Experiment 2.0 was attaching another organic line to something.
His arm.
An organic line led from the boomerang, too his arm, which led to the street light, so anything attached to the boomberang, he would be able to pull right into the light.
He had figured out the fault in his plan; There was no way for the boomerang to pull the bunny, so in essence, it would have just wrapped around the creature's neck, annoying the thing.
Now, he could try the plan. But, he had only one shot.
He aimed, and threw the boomerang, right at the neck of the creature. If it hit, he would be able to pull the line, pushing the plan into action. If he missed... Well, the debris would come down, hit the bench, send the brick flying, waste the flash, and he would either have to run, or try and fight.
He hoped it was the former.
the bunny felt the incoming boomerang, turned to look at it.
And shattered it.
Big mistake.
Froo-Froo Bunny turned its FULL attention toward Experiment 2.0 (OOC: I'll reiterate my hint from earlier: EARS!)
"shoulda killed me, [censored]" darkgun thought to himself as he fired wildly at the bunny while he was paying attention to Experiment. He happened to hit one of the bunnies ears in the fullisade.
(OOC: Close but no cigar...thanks for trying. anyone using tech is most likely to figure this particular weakness out . Remember Ears was the hint, not the direct solution)
The fireball seemed to connect with the rabbits ears, but the psionic field prevented more than singed fur.
I've had it with you the bunny glared at darkgun, and shot a psionic needle into his chest, puncturing a lung.
Darkgun let out an agonized scream, and strangely, the bunny seemed to visible cringe at the noise.
Experiment, after watching the bunny a little more, had it.
He ran to a nearby car, one of the only ones undamaged, and started messing with it. He transfigured the car horn to give off a loud, highpitched screech, instead of a normal car horn noise, remembering what should have been obvious from the start.
"Large ears equal large noise."
Experiment, after tampering with the car horn a little, slammed into it.
The screech emitted was painful, even to Experiment, and he almost flew back from the force.
"Well, that was... unexpected." muttered Experiment, this time firing a spine into the car horn, causing it to erupt in the same sound, but this time, keep going.
The rabbit clutched its head til it exploded. The lifeless body hit the ground hard, and darkgun fell as well.
Luckily, Darkgun wasn't dead yet.
Lucky, because the same instant they hit the floor, they were transported back into the room, with no injuries and with any assets they had before they left, unless those assets were alive and killed in the battle.
"Well done, now let's tally up your scores!" the Benefactor said.
Experiment 2.0: 15
Concerto: 10
everyone else that isn't dead: 5
(OOC: The next round will start soon, and we need 2 more at least)
"I [censored] want more points! it was my fault that experiment knew how to kill him. this [censored] sucks. [censored]!" said darjgun angrily to the benifactor.
The Benefactor glared at him.
"You did not eliminate the target, therefore you did not get the points. I assume you have played video games before. In first person shooter games, the person who gets the kill gets the points. These points are not divided up, you either get them or you don't. After all, if the game allowed you to share points, it would take far too long to accomplish the goal," he explained, glaring at darkgun with a truly menacing expression.
"Now, there are going to be objectives with more than one target, but there will also be more difficult ones. Conversely, some will even be easy."
What the [censored]! you ever heard of a game called CoH? You get points based on how much damage you do to the target. really great system. this is [censored] [censored]." said darkgun, "But you know what? I really dont give a [censored]. lets just do the next task."
Blind Messenger looked on calmly. He honestly could not be bothered with getting into arguments. He did, however, want to get out of here.
He was just planning to get some pizza before he was attacked by the hero.
However, now he had to beat these villains and heroes to get out.
"Shouldn't be too hard." he muttered to himself.
"What shouldn't?" an english accent similar to Blind's asked.
"Oh, nothing Experiment." replied Messenger, turning to see the hero in red, metallic armour that, just because he liked messing with electronics, managed to get a few points. "You know, if you didn't know how to mess with those techy things, you would have been screwed, right?"
Experiment just shrugged it off. "All you did was make everything majorly dark, and give the bunny some sort of blast power. Unfortunately, your Lich took the blast." Experiment retorted.
Blind Messenger simply looked back at the Benefactor, trying to think of some easy way out.
He had pretty much figured out that there was some sort of barrier around these "missions", so he couldn't get out. It was kinda easy to figure out, because... Well, he did learn a few things from 2.0.
However, he needed some way to stop the barrier. But he was not skilled enough to know where or how to take down the fields. There was only one person he knew who could.
And, right now, he looked like he was too into the glory of beating everyone else by a meager five points.
"Stupid hero." muttered Blind, leaning against a shadowed wall.
(ok, the next round will use NPC substitutes again. Since the tutorial is basically over I'm not gonna kill these two off right away. And someone's going to die this round. Be prepared, be wary)
Two more figures appeared in the room. One was a Tsoo enforcer, and the other was a Circle of Thorns mage.
"Well now, I supposed I shall explain the next round. First of all, for this round you'll need these," he clapped his hands and a pedestal, with strange looking weapons that resembled nerf guns, rose from the ground, "Your objective is to destroy an obelisk. It is well guarded. Those weapons will work on the obelisk, but your powers won't. I'd advise not pointing them at each other."
The Benefactor snapped his fingers, and everyone in the room was transported.
This time, they were at the foot of a massive staircase, with stone statues of vengeful buddhas standing on each side, numbering approximately twenty, with two extremely large ones at the top of the stairs.
Almost instantly, two of the statues turned to face the players, each holding a spear.
Experiment, grabbing one of the guns, felt the awakening of two statues.
And he froze.
Unless there was some sort of technological reason for these things to come to life, he was useless. His spines would break, as stone is resistant to what his spines do, and his technological abilities wouldn't work on something lifeless.
He was stuck.
---------------------
Blind Messenger, however, had already pulled out a spell book.
He had no idea if these things were fueled by magic, or not, but he could try a few spells.
He skipped past the "Turn to Stone" spell because... Well... He didn't think it would do anything to stone.
Then, he found an enchantment spell. Probably not a good idea.
Life drain. No life to drain.
He stopped for a moment, summoning his zombies again. The minions with the acid vomit jumped out, attacking the oncoming statues. The Knights decided to have a sword to spear fight with them, and his lookalike lich came out as cover.
Blind continued through the book, finding an invisibility spell.
He cast it on himself, and hid in the shadows, continuing through the book, which, because of the thickness, would take a while, even to scan.
----------------
Meanwhile...
----------------
Experiment looked through all his equipment.
Flash grenades... No...
Grapple Hook... Don't want to get close...
Prison teleporter... Didn't need to waste it...
He couldn't find anything. No piece of equipment he had invented could help fight this things.
The only thing he had of use was this wierd gun, and he needed to use it on this "Obelisk."
The weight on the bus stop finally drove it to collapse, and the rabbit was now being literally swarmed with weak breakable things.
Otherwise you can avoid the wreckage any way you choose)
Then the trip mine blew.
chunks of giant bunny flew all over the place, and the chain reaction created by the mine plus the acidic material within the bunny's gullet caused a literal "meltdown" of the surrounding area.
Worse yet, the bus stop was close to a building, and blew out a large chunk of it, and the acid corroded it enough to cause the whole thing to fall on the mess of rabbits.
(OOC: small note here, any heroes who want to try to save the remaining civilians from the falling building will have to die to do so...like i said, by coming into this RP, you come in expecting to die
The big rabbit was dead, but they were still standing in the street. The game wasn't over.
Made abundantly clear when the freak was hoisted into the air and decapitated by a new threat: an anthropomorphic rabbit wielding a cutlass and wearing spanish style clothing. Worse yet, it lifted him and severed his life without touching him, seemingly a telekinetic.
I am Froo-Froo Bunny, why have you slain my children? the rabbit intoned.
