Patron Powers: Ghost Widow - Soul Mastery
Let's face it, they made ALL the patron powers gimped so we wouldn't feel bad if we didn't want to take one.

It's curious as well that
1. The powers are SO much weaker and expensive by the look of it relative to the EPPs hero side. Wasn't it stated by either Positron or Castle that they would be significantly stronger?
2. We basically have most of the numbers for most powers through vigorous player testing. Why were so MANY aspects of the numbers excluded? "Hard numbers" this may be, but it's a fraction of the numbers on them.
Both points need to be addressed, really...
just gotta get our hands on one and see what it does, soon as I figure out how i'm gonna get to lvl 41 by only street hunting i'm grabbing soul drain and jumping headfirst into a mob.

My wife was. Once she went to safe mode on test it seemed to only crash about 9/10 times. Very odd.
ya, crashing like crazy on Spectre Ace, i'm gonna try Tek SE-2 in a sec.
Anybody else notice the recharge on the hold powers (in all the PPP sets) was 32 seconds? Thirty-Two bloody seconds, whereas the Ancilliary Power Pool holds are 16 seconds. Not to mention that Sirroco's Hold does next to no damage compared to the other ones.
Most of the powers are 32 sec holds vs. 16 seconds, everyone on the planet has BFs.
Question to the people testing on the test server...How are these powers going to hold up in PVP and/or PVE. Usefull or Useless?
Looking over Ghost Widows PPPs I can see that her powers are Bleh compared to the EPPs the Heroes get.

I haven't seen a lvl 41 villain yet, and its really hard for me(the grind masta!) to level without being able to get in a mission to grind with

~ Brawl Damage ? Corruptor Gloom should be doing ~180 @ L40 and costs 8.5 Endurance. So 20% the damage and 130% the cost ? aka, Freaking Brawl damage and costs 11 endurance. What IS the point ?

Do NOT use Brawl numbers here. They will be HORRIBLY wrong. Brawl Indicies DO NOT WORK for Patron OR Epic powers. See my post here.

Just a quick Question why is it that for MM's to get Ghost Widow's final power you have to take 2 otheres?
Just like power pools. But for the other Patron Powers you only need to have taken one other power from the pool in order to get the final one?
naw they're treated just like normal power pools, you have to have 2 to get the final power. It shouldn't be any different between all the patron pools.
so my friend an i were running GW's missions tonight in order so we each had the same one's, once we got to the Defeat Numina Mission, we both returned to the contact, i was awarded the Spiders Kiss badge an SO for the arc. But here is the kicker only the smallest block on her bar was full, my friend was able to get anotehr mission kill 30CoT from her , but i was not i was told that we have done enough together.
we both were lvl 40 i was a MM, he was a dom. I DID BUG THIS!! since i dont think it was the end of the story....
has this happened to anyone else?
Im not sure if this is the right place but since it has to do with Ghost Widow I figured I would put it here. I am unable to complete the mission Test Ceremony on Red Widow from her in her second story arc because the Soul Crystal that I am suppose to interact with spawns inside walls and objects making it unusable. I reset the mission 10 times in an attempt to cause it to spawn in a usable condition. While it did move around the final room of the mission map it always spawned in either a wall or the altar on top of the ruins.
heres a question. i have the second mission in ghosty's arc. i tried this with a team earlier and failed but it wasnt my mish that time. if i fail do i just move on or restart the arc or what?

I think he means the final non-pet power, e.g the hold.
But yeah, these numbers look seriously off the scale.
However the plaques for the other three PPPs say you only need one power (a possible typo?). GW's plaque is the only MM info that follows the normal two tier 1, one tier 2, one tier 3 power thing.
How do you unlock Ghost Widow's pool? Do you just need to finish the first arc and get the badge? Or do you have to finish all her arcs?

How do you arrive at that conclusion? Has anyone actually tested that yet? 'cuz all that quote says to me is that one "unit" of endurance, whatever that may be, is taken away every second, and that they really need to try harder on this "hard numbers" thing. The endurance/second numbers we're used to seeing on the forums mostly have little relation to how the devs probably think of toggles because lots of toggles don't tick once per second. They tick anywhere from several times per second to, in the case of Cloak of Fear, about once every five seconds.
I suspect that in devspeak CoF would be represented as 1 "unit"/5 seconds. This is as misleading as it is unhelpful.

I was told Lord Recluse quit because he wasn't allowed to do the things he wanted. Having holds be 32s vs. hero 16s better have a hold that lasts twice as long because those don't look "more powerful" to me vs. what the heroes get.

Based on replies to my PMs to Castle, those units do not mean end/second. In the case of Dark Embrace, he quoted to me a value a little over 0.3 end/sec, which compares directly with EPP armors on the Hero side.
Note that I agree that giving us the information in such a format (on the plaque, not Castle) is particularly useless.

So that's the point: Waste two power slots so you can get a cute pet.
This is as bad as the 1.0 end cost (vs 0.19) for corruptors to get the Patron Dark Embrace
Someone tell me this info is wrong. please.
