Hmm... you people seem to think I was taking a crack at the Bucs. Such is not the case. I was referring to the overwhelming popularity of Tampa's world famous.... erm.... "establishments" amongst NFL players.(One place in particular especially)

[/ QUOTE ]

The one's they own? The one where the guy bit the woman's <bleep> off during a... erm... dance? The one where the woman's implant deflected a bullet? The one with the space ship? The one's with the store attached?

Good lord, we've got too many strip clubs...

[/ QUOTE ]
Not the one with the Spaceship. The one across the street. The one that gets mentioned ten times more than all the others combined.

You can at least take comfort that the Tanga Lounge is no more.

Look up mons in the dictionary...

Ahhh, next to Denny's. Yeah, Tanga's no more, but the Pink Pony showed up shortly after.

haha just did,

Wasn't the spaceship called space oddessey or something like that?

Space Oddessey 3001?

But you got a "special" treat if you went up into the spaceship!

Aaah I remember closing down Ybor and then heading over to MONS Vaneus to finish the night off.

Those were the days!

Athyna!, you gonna let em talk about Tampa like that and get away with it?

Say it isn't so!

[/ QUOTE ]

Except for that one year we won the SuperBowl, it's pretty much true. *hangs head* Granted, they're nowhere near as bad as when they were creamsicle orange, back when the girl scouts beat them up all the time...

I still think the only reason the won the SuperBowl was because I threatened them... with my kids.

Ooooh Mas Venus I assume?

I used to love that place before they passed that law.....

[/ QUOTE ]
"That law" got struck down. Some time ago too. You may love that place again, just like you used too.

But I visit Pinellas Park to see the family every once in a while so I might have to get back there again!

Never mind.

...dammit, Anti! OK, try this. "Therefore, I must conclude that the reason you do not have an NPC signature hero named CuppaJo is because there is no gigantic female body option."

Better?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, we are still working on getting Cuppa as the City Rep. Along with getting a "Save Jackson Turner" mission.

And you can make a Huge Female Body, Put the height, legs, shoulder, and pretty much every other slider all the way up. Presto, huge Female.

[/ QUOTE ]

Crikey people, I am 5'4" and about a buck 25 standing in the rain. I don't need the huge option. Just move the body slider to athletic.

Miri says he thinks I am an NPC in Steel Canyon. Supposedly there is female NPC sitting outside a coffee shop with a laptop that says random "cuppa-esque" things. Maybe that's me? I am still waiting on coordinates to check it out.

[/ QUOTE ]

Suggestion for Cuppa's in-game signature hero

[/ QUOTE ]

I still like the City Rep idea. It works, since CJ's supposedly the govenour of Rhode Island.

Edited 'cause I type too fast.

[/ QUOTE ]

I had hoped that the CoH version of the newspaper tech would be the Cat Stuck in Tree Missions that Statesman mentioned long while ago, meaning spawning contacts in which citizens appear (standing on corners or run up to you) screaming "Help me!" and give you a generated mission when you talk to them.

Hahah I imagine so!

Funny story about Mons:

One time my best friend and I took my brother out for the night to celebrate his birthday. We wound up going to Ybor and getting totally wasted lol. I mean we could barely stand it was so bad.

So after Ybor closed we get a taxi and go to Mons to finish off the night. At one point one of the ladies drops a dollar and we are right by the stage. My best friend Dared me to jump on the stage and get the dollar.

Ya I did lol. I got yelled at by the other customers and the bouncers kicked us out but it was good times.

What? Cuppa's got a signature hero. She's the one on the right. With the riding crop.

[/ QUOTE ]

Pangea was talking about an NPC hero, like Synapse, or Mynx.

[/ QUOTE ] FEAR the Riding Crop!
Fear it!

Okay, I just liked the pic.

-- someone had asked about cuppa's tattoo ... it's basically all over her back but not how you would think... it's words not pictoral... it's celtic? i think? i could not hear her well as it was loud and she is super tiny but the words travel across her back like a lost ant march careening in drunken loops ... the best part is... the stretch of words (which the size itself is fairly small .. just it's long) travel up her neck into her hairline and i imagine it was painful having a needle applied there.... it has great meaning to her and i wish i could have heard her better but being an airhead i'd have felt silly screaming at this tiny cutie "CAN YOU SPEAK UP, I AM OLD AND DEAF" ...at any rate, she's super cute, Taxibot Hollow showed her his tattoo as well... it's a ritual for people who get them, i suppose...the "i'll show you mine"... Hollow's always makes me wince because he bled sooo much when he got it, that i cried

--someone mentioned that no one dressed up save a few kitty ears punctuating the dark main room with their fuzzy sweetness... not so *gasp*, i was dressed in my main's 4th costume, she wears jeans! and so do i

--speaking of kitty ears... this was a recent conversation in mission... me: "i went to the austin deal", myfriendmatt: "did you meet Rowr", me: "yes", myfriendmatt: "is she cute", me: OMG YES, super cute, just oh so very cute, myfriendmatt: "happy joy" ... yay, Rowr has a fan

--moggie and mr.moggie as i will now call him are the sweetest people in the known universe... i must now add a room above my garage with a huge trap and containment field as i also play CoV and that's what bad people do to lil cutie pie's... muahaha tee hee

--one of my friends still thinks i am a boy.. his lame excuse for not going to the meet and greet is that he lives in georgia.. boo!

--Hollow never reads forums so I can say whatever I want here.. I wanted to thank anyone he met, he had a great time! Well, i did too but.. he works very hard... he does CBT's for a large evil demanding oil company based here in SA and can be at work til the next day (no joke.. he's been there overnight)... weekends, he has his doctorate program and his offtime is spent in my hideously boring company... he was very excited and happy and thoroughly enjoyed himself which i cannot stress how rare that is... i'm overjoyed that he was happy... so thank you Virtuites and CoH/V people who we met and truly are the best NCsoft subscribers

Boston!?!

I'm sure you meant Tampa. Right? RIGHT!?!

[/ QUOTE ]

No, you both mean Seattle.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok, its clear that you all won't be able to settle this so we should just have it in DC. I mean what's more patriotic then having it in the DC area?

And we have coffee shops on every single street corner to lure CuppaJo. Literally there is a Starbucks inside my grocery store which is next door to a Starbucks.

And hey, if we want to see what real street crime is we can go to the eastern side of the city or just up the road to Baltimore!

wOOt! For Meet and Greet!! We got to meet all kinds of peeps from the area. And after getting 2 Statesmen Heroclix figures outside, I smashed Statesmen under my boot, "Take that! for all the Nerfs!". All that was left was a flattened tanker :P. But i still have another here sitting on my desk. Thank you guys at NCsoft for creating a game we can love on all levels. Infinity FTW!!!

Actually I like DC just because it's fairly centrally located on the east coast. A day of travel and you wind up in pretty much any place in the US east of kansas. As far as locations go, it's pretty central.

I see alot of conventions in chicago, and I'm not really sure why... it's not that seperated from the bulk of civilization, but it's not THAT centralized either...
