Soooo...they made no reference to the event, why they were there or what anyone was doing?
And no interview with Cuppa?!?
There's a reason I don't watch local news.

She was in one of the shots though :P

--one of my friends still thinks i am a boy.. his lame excuse for not going to the meet and greet is that he lives in georgia.. boo!
[/ QUOTE ]
hey that was my excuse too!
[/ QUOTE ]
So if you're in Georgia, beat up Catwhoorg for me
[/ QUOTE ]
what part of GA?
I'll get him for ya!
[ QUOTE ]
Actually I like DC just because it's fairly centrally located on the east coast. A day of travel and you wind up in pretty much any place in the US east of kansas. As far as locations go, it's pretty central.
I see alot of conventions in chicago, and I'm not really sure why... it's not that seperated from the bulk of civilization, but it's not THAT centralized either...

I've changed my mind, Zeus. No longer do I desire for the next event to be in Tampa. I think it should be at YOUR house. I will expect plenty of snacks between the gourmet meals you cook for everyone.
Sally - goddess of abusing Zeus' hospitality.

--someone mentioned that no one dressed up save a few kitty ears punctuating the dark main room with their fuzzy sweetness... not so *gasp*, i was dressed in my main's 4th costume, she wears jeans! and so do i
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, I was dressed up, in a way... not so much as a CoH/V char, though. You see, I've worked at Richard Garriot's birthday parties (they're rather infamous affairs) since back before he sold Origin to Electronic Arts. (Now, of course, he works at NCSoft developing Tabula Rasa.) For one of his birthday parties, there was a Superhero theme. Everyone invited came in costume as a SuperHero of some sort (I still remember the Golden Gargoyle - wow! the things you can do with body paint!). Those of us who worked the party were Richard's "faceless minions". We all wore shirts like I had on with a number on the front and Richard's villain logo on the back. It was all great fun, but now I wish I hadn't relegated that shirt to 'work shirt' status. It was starting to fall apart, and I had to repair a large hole before the meet n greet. I knew Richard wasn't going to be there, but unfortunately, nobody there got the shirt - not even Pann, who I knew from one of Richard's other parties. Heck, we were opposite each other in a play for that one...

--moggie and mr.moggie as i will now call him are the sweetest people in the known universe... i must now add a room above my garage with a huge trap and containment field as i also play CoV and that's what bad people do to lil cutie pie's... muahaha tee hee
[/ QUOTE ]
umm, eek?

Not a bad idea. I have some chips... and um... well, we don't drink soda... but we have three computers. And I do live in CENTRAL maine, which is central... to ... eastern canada... new hampshire (the perenium of new england) and a large family of lobsters. As a matter of fact, in the summer.. if you know where to go, you can get lobsters for a couple bucks a pound, so if someone chips in for lobster we could all gather around my three computers and eat some lobster.
Zeus - god of not liking lobster
You guys needs to throw one up these up North sometime - Canucks need lovin' too! (I'll bring the David Usher, Arctic Sun... I swear he's in this pile somewhere)
I'll tell Hex to be good. Honest.
On an unrelated note, I nearly slapped the guy at my local CCG store. He has no plans to carry CoH, let alone the fact he didn't even know what it was. Blasphemy!

For someone that doesn't use their cell much, you sure used up the minutes during the event.
[/ QUOTE ]
I hadn't used my cell phone since December 31, when Jack called to wish me a Happy New Year. I used up more cell phone time at the event than I did in all of 2005. But since so many people got to talk to each other, I think it was totally worth it.

Hard to do when you've never given me your phone number. Goober. And you weren't online to get it from. What's that about? It was almost like you had a life or something. But we know that can't be right.

Tisirin is a blast to talk with and even checks up on you if you're lurking in a corner
What noone wants to have the next one in the Midwest?
Missouri FTW! You can't get more centralized than that.
