So, basically, Mortimer is right as well. The person with the drawn weapon would hit first, but he would end up with a longer pause after the attack ends.

It has been about a year since my group quit to do other MMOs but we have seen the error of our ways. We are making an all corruptor group and so the account has been re-upped! Once I get my head around some of the changes (especially the IOs) I'll probably do an update....don't expect it any time soon though.
I made a master of cones, without hasten, and before io's with io's its disgusting, thnx to new defiance 2.0 i'm able to farm myself, i want to thnk captainicyhot for the guide, and see you all on the servers

Contrary to popular belief, redraw does not delay attack times. If you attack with an unslung rifle, versus drawing one by attacking, the time taken is the same. Don't hesitate to take powers from your secondary for fear of redraw, it's all in your head.

I'm curious where people got this idea from. I've done arena tests, and between two side by side computers hitting attack at the same time, the drawn weapon always hit first. It wasn't by terribly much, but it was noticeable.

Queue up an attack *after* the weapon-draw one and see if they don't hit at the same time.
