Virtue is the unoffical RP server, but you can find RP on all of them. There are just a few more doing it on Virtue than the other server.
Virtue I hear is the spot. By I for one speak for Champion. There are RPers there. Not a huge amount, but enough to be close and get things rolling. My friends and I have a small lil' alliance of SGs going. We aren't that large, or famous, but we are all heavy RPers

I have seen alot of rpg recently on infinity server.. not sure why.. but i'm all good for it.
RP isn't entirely Virtue exclusive, though that's where you'll certainly find it. Thankfully the game's been out long enough that each server has a nice enough base of RPers to at least play to.
That said, Virtue's your best bet to start with. We're a friendly bunch, and even if you roleplay with funny dialogue like Paladin you're pretty much par for the course there; everyone might not RP, but everyone's pretty groovy with the idea.

I play on both champion and virtue and there is alot more rp on virtue from what have seen I barely find rpers on champion but when I do its always a plesent surprise and they are a great group I only had one bad experiance with roleplayers on champion and that was the charecter who decided that they had to always attack first no matter the cost.....that hurt. But yeah I would suggest Virtue first and possibly pinnacle it sounds like it has a few rpers but I haven't played there my self.

We can also be found blathering OOCly in the "Whitmoore Apts" global chat channel in the game. Also of note is the "RP Congress" chat channel, which, while global, particularly caters to the RP crowd on Pinnacle.
Despite having said that, however, I'm pretty much a Virtue addict. (Going for that nonexistant "Virtuous" badge, dontcha know!)

"RP Congress" is an IC channel. OOC blather is supposed to be kept to the "RPC OOC" channel, but nobody uses it anymore. They all pretty much enclose any OOC blather in (( double parentheses )) and keep it to a minimum.

I am new to this game. Really new. So new that the game is actually still loading on my machine. I know I am going to have to pick a server to play on soon and was wondering if there is a server that leans more towards RP than the others?
I am a fairly hardcore RPer and am looking forward to some engaging storylines. Can anyone give me a suggestion on where to go?
