Chapter IV: Mission Impossible
-~Silent Spy~-
It was nighttime.
Silent Spy, Netherflare, NeoRadiation, Tribal Axe, Surgetron, Figi, Werehound and Radevil stood on the roof of a Crey Industries building in Bloody Bay.
The radio crackled.
Im in., said a voice on the radio. It was Kaze Kariudo.
Okay, open up the hatch., said Silent Spy into the radio.
The air vent on the roof busted open. Werehound had a rope tied around his waist. Silent Spy, Figi, Radevil and Netherflare grabbed on to the rope and crawled into the vent. They fell out inside the building, hanging in the air by a rope.
They let go of the rope and opened a window. Surgetron and NeoRadiation flew through the window. Silent Spy handed three black balls to Figi, Radevil and Netherflare.
Figi, Radevil and Netherflare flew up towards the ceiling and stuck the balls onto the roof.
Get ready in three, two
, counted down Silent Spy as she spoke into the radio. One.
The balls on the roof exploded and made a quiet noise. The roof caved in as Werehound and Tribal Axe fell inside through the hole.
We need to find the computer mainframe., said Surgetron.
Agreed., said Figi.
Okay, lets split up., said Silent Spy. Tribal Axe, NeoRadiation, Figi, Kaze, you come with me.
Surgetron, Werehound, Netherflare come with me., said Radevil.
Radevil, Surgetron, Werehound and Netherflare ran down the hallway.
Silent Spy led Tribal Axe, NeoRadiation, Figi and Kaze Kariudo down a different hallway.
There were footsteps.
Shh
, said Silent Spy.
She turned to each of her teammates and they all turned invisible. She quickly turned herself invisible. Countess Crey walked down the hallway followed by her bodyguard, Hopkins.
Countess Crey and Hopkins turned the corner, out of sight.
That was close., said NeoRadiation.
Sure was., said Silent Spy.
Four Crey officers turned the corner.
Crap., said Silent Spy.
Kaze Kariudo called in his ninjas. Tribal Axes body was surrounded flames as he pulled out his axe.
This will be easy., said Tribal Axe.
Thirty more Crey officers appeared.
You were saying?, asked Silent Spy.
Tribal Axe ran into the group of the Crey, followed by Silent Spy. Kazes ninja army jumped into battle.
Tribal Axe smacked a Crey officer with his axe, knocking him into Silent Spy. Silent Spy quickly jumped up and kicked the Crey officer in the stomach, jumped off of him in a back flip and kicked another one in the head. Vines grew out of the ground and grabbed on to the Crey officers and threw them across the hallway or smacked them into the ground. The ninjas began to launch arrows at the remaining Crey as NeoRadiation blasted them with radiation.
Silent Spy looked around. There was a large pile of Crey officers, spread across the hallway.
Good job., said Silent Spy, panting as she stood on top of the hill of Crey officers.
-~Radevil~-
Surgetron, Netherflare and Werehound followed Radevil down the hallway. Down the hallway was a room with the lights on.
Werehound, go check it out., said Radevil.
Werehound ran towards the door and tackled it open.
Netherflare, Radevil and Surgetron quickly ran inside after him.
Its you again!, said Radevil. It was ZapperScurge.
Surgetron., said ZapperScurge.
ZapperScurge., said Surgetron.
Three boxes fell from the ceiling. The boxes opened up robots came out of the box.
Surgetron, Id like you to meet my friends., said ZapperScurge.
The three robots pulled out laser guns and shot at Surgetron.
No!, shouted Werehound. Werehound jumped in front of Surgetron, blocking the lasers. The lasers didnt affect Werehound much.
Werehound ran at one of the robots and picked it up and threw it across the room.
Bobby!, shouted ZapperScurge.
ZapperScurge then pulled out his own laser gun and fired it at Surgetron. Surgetron was hit in the chest and knocked back through the wall.
Werehound pulled the gun from ZapperScurge and broke it in half.
Run!, shouted Werehound.
Radevil and Netherflare ran out of the room and down the hallway as fast as they could. Two robots chased after them, firing lasers at them.
I have an idea., said Radevil.
Radevil concentrated hard. She accelerated her metabolism and Netherflares as well.
Radevil and Netherflare were able to run faster. However, one of the robots shot Radevil in the back, knocking her down. Netherflare picked up Radevil and ran inside a room and slammed the door shut. Netherflare melted the doorknob so nobody can get in.
-~Figi~-
Figi, Silent Spy, Tribal Axe, NeoRadiation and Kaze Kariudo were in a large room with many doors on each wall.
Lets check it out., said Silent Spy. Figi, Kaze, you guys get the walls on the left. Tribal, you get the walls on the left. Me and Neo will get the wall straight ahead.
Figi laughed.
I have a better idea., said Figi.
Figi summoned vines to grow out of the ground near each door. The vines wrapped around the doorknobs and pulled open the doors.
That was a bit easier., said Figi.
But now whatever is behind the doors is free., said Tribal Axe.
Oh, how bad can it be?, asked Figi.
A giant tentacle crawled out of one of the doors.
Oh my
, gasped Figi.
I told you so., said Tribal Axe.
The tentacle sped up and grabbed onto NeoRadiation.
Help!, shouted NeoRadiation, as he was pulled into the room by the tentacle.
Tribal Axe pulled out his axe and cut the tentacle in half. NeoRadiation was lying on the floor, breathing heavily.
Now that, was stupid., said Figi.
Why?, shouted Tribal Axe.
Because how many monsters have you seen with just one tentacle?, asked Figi.
Tribal Axe stared at Figi, dumbfounded. Four more tentacles came into the room, each from a different door. Tribal Axe charged at one of the tentacles with the axe in his hand. A different tentacle smacked Tribal Axe across the back. Tribal Axe fell to the ground and dropped his axe.
My axe!, shouted Tribal Axe.
Figi quickly summoned a vine to grab the axe and give it to Tribal Axe, but it was too late, a tentacle grabbed on to the axe and pulled it inside the room.
Run!, screamed Silent Spy as she ran out of the hallway.
Figi summoned a few vines to hold two of the tentacles together. Kaze Kariudos ninjas quickly demolished one of the other tentacles. The final tentacle grabbed on to Figi and pulled her inside.
Help!, she screamed as she was pulled into the room and the door slammed shut.
-~Werehound~-
Die, ZapperScurge!, shouted Werehound as he punched ZapperScurge across the face.
ZapperScurge ran out of the room, screaming.
Werehound rushed over to Surgetron to help him.
Are you okay?, asked Werehound.
Surgetron was hyperventilating. The laser had hit him in the chest. Werehound reached towards the mark where he was hit, but Surgetron hit his hand away.
Its okay. Im a doctor., said Werehound. Or I used to be.
As Werehound remembered his past, he began to change back into his old life form, James Dean.
James grabbed some tools in the room that were used for labs. He quickly fixed Surgetrons wound and turned back into Werehound.
Thanks., said Surgetron. That was
impressive. Surprising. And weird, to be honest.
Yes. It was weird., said Werehound.
Werehound and Surgetron began to look for Radevil and Netherflare. They began to hear footsteps.
Hide., whispered Surgetron.
Werehound and Surgetron ran back inside the room. Countess Crey passed through the hallway with her bodyguard.
We need to hurry and find this machine. We must destroy it., said Surgetron. They will be launching it soon.
-~Silent Spy~-
As Silent Spy ran through the hallway, she noticed a room she didnt noticed before. She went inside the room. It was pitch black.
Hello?, asked a voice.
Hello., said Silent Spy.
Silent Spy froze. She didnt know what to say. She didnt know who was in the room. It could be a friend or it could be an enemy. If she said she was Silent Spy, the Crey would attack her; or her friends would welcome her. If she said she was a Crey, the Crey would welcome her and find out the truth; or her friends may attack her.
Its
uh
, said Silent Spy, stuttering. Who is this?
There was no answer.
-~NeoRadiation~-
Tribal Axe charged into the door where Figi was dragged into.
Did that work?, asked NeoRadiation.
No. It didnt budge., said Tribal Axe.
Let me try something., said Kaze Kariudo.
Kaze Kariudo quickly assembled to machines. The machines flew towards the door.
Stand clear., said Kaze Kariudo.
Tribal Axe and NeoRadation backed away from the robots.
The two robots exploded and blew open the door. Figis body fell out of the room and lay on the ground.
Oh no., said Tribal Axe.
NeoRadiation quickly tried to heal Figis body. As he ran over, he noticed the tentacle slowly creep out of the door.
Guys. The tentacle is back., said NeoRadiation.
NeoRadiation quickly picked up Figis body and began to run.
Kaze Kariudo and Tribal Axe chased after him as the tentacle went after them. Finally, the tentacle stopped moving and crawled back inside the room.
That was scary., said Kaze Kariudo.
Figi began to wake up.
Its going to happen
soon., said Figi as she went in and out of consciousness.
What will happen soon?, asked Tribal Axe.
The power draining device., said NeoRadiation calmly.

ZapperScurge, formerly known as Marcus Hill, ran toward Countess Creys office, confident that his mistress would be pleased with the success of the power-draining machine. When he arrived at her door, he took a deep breath, and went in.
Good evening Countess., started ZapperScurge. I am pleased to say that testing of your new weapon was a success. The super-beings powers were drained at an extremely fast rate. It was tested on all origins, both heroes and villains, and worked each time. I also used it on a rather shady villain, who possessed a class of radiation control, and, as we predicted, the drug works effectively without causing any kind of mutation. It is ready for mass production.
Excellent. Hopkins, please make haste to inform the scientists in Med Lab 4 to commence with Phase 3. I must have a private conversation with Mr. Hill here.
Yes maam., replied Hopkins and quickly left the room to complete his task.
Countess Crey cleared her throat and turned to ZapperScurge.
Mr. Hill, are you familiar with a group called Wyvern?, asked Countess Crey.
ZapperScurge paused and wondered how she knew, because he, had indeed had a series of confrontations with Wyvern, earning his place at the top of their most wanted list.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I am familiar with this group. Wyvern is a group of assassins hired to complete tasks that Longbow either cant or wont do. I recently destroyed their coding machines, stole their files, and destroyed their facilities., replied ZapperScurge.
And you also became the most wanted villain on their list., said Countess Crey.
ZapperScurge paused again, confused.
Err, yes I did., said ZapperScurge.
Countess Crey revealed a twisted smile.
Good. Very impressive., she said.
She made her way back to her desk.
However, your actions have put Crey Industries in jeopardy. Those Wyvern agents will not stop until they have found you, and they will find you., she said.
She reached into her desk and pulled out a viral injection gun.
What are you
, Zapper Scurge began.
When they catch you, they will turn you in to Longbow for the bounty. Longbow, will use you to gain information of my industry, and, to put it quite simple, you know too much. They will gain all sorts of information that will ruin me. I cannot allow this., continued Countess Crey.
She gestured to the gun in her hands.
This weapon is a combination of poisons including the power draining serum you developed. Shortly after Ive fired this, Wyvern agents will storm in, searching for you, and you will be too weak to enter combat with them. Once captured, you will
mysteriously die from some kind of disease, and justice will be done., said Countess Crey.
ZapperScurge backed up.
No, you cant do this to me
, said ZapperScurge.
I am sorry, I truly am, but I have a reputation to uphold here in Paragon. I must protect myself at all costs., said Countes Crey.
She fired the gun at point blank, which made a clear entry into Marcuss chest.
ZapperScuge fell to the ground, twitching in pain.

Do you think we are safe now?, asked Radevil.
I think so., said Netherflare.
Radevil and Netherflare opened the door and walked through the hallway, where they found NeoRadiation, Figi and Tribal Axe.
What happened to you guys?, asked Radevil.
We got attacked by a giant tentacle from the door., said Tribal Axe.
Radevil and Netherflare looked at Tribal Axe, confused and wondering if that was a joke.
Wheres Silent Spy?, asked Netherflare.
Oh, she ran off a while ago., said Tribal Axe.
-~Silent Spy~-
I said, Who are you?, demanded Silent Spy. Answer me.
You sound so familiar., said the voice.
Silent Spy felt the voice approach her.
Stay back., said Silent Spy.
Silent Spy reached into her pocket and grabbed a lighter. She quickly pulled it out.
You sound like
, started the voice as it came closer and closer.
Silent Spy flicked on the lighter.
my daughter., said the voice.
Silent Spy dropped the lighter and screamed.

Netherflare tackled Surgetron.
Silent Spy and NeoRadiation quickly pulled the two away from each other.
NeoRadiation cornered Surgetron as Silent Spy held on tightly to Netherflare.
Let me go!, screamed Netherflare.
No., said Silent Spy.
Netherflare kicked Silent Spy and escaped from Silent Spy.
We need help!, shouted Silent Spy.
The elevator opened. A man came rushing out of the elevator.
Whats going on?, asked the man.
Help us separate these two., said Silent Spy.
NeoRadiation let go of Surgetron. Netherflare tackled Surgetron again and knocked him into the wall.
Okay., said the man as he pulled out a giant war axe.
Silent Spy, NeoRadiation, Netherflare and Surgetron stopped and stared at the man in bewilderment and fright.
Wait!, screamed Silent Spy. Dont kill them!
Im not going to., said the man. You said separate them.
Ya, from each other. Not separate their arms from their body!, shouted Silent Spy.
I know., said the man.
Who are you?, asked NeoRadiation.
The names Tribal Axe., said the man.
The elevator opened and a hero corps agent ran inside.
Attention all heroes, head to Atlas Park immediately!, said the agent as he rushed back inside the elevator.
The five heroes looked at each other, ran out of the hospital and headed towards Atlas Park.

Radevil was in the hospital of Fort Darwin in Mercy Island. Next to her were Werehound and two other villains, all coming out of the emergency teleportation beacons.
Hey, thank you for saving me., said Radevil.
No problem., said Werehound.
Werehound turned around and looked at the other two villains. Then, he froze.
Figi?, asked Werehound.
One of the villains turned to Werehound. It was a girl with greenish-hair.
Do I know you?, asked the villain.
Figi, its me. James., said Werehound.
What happened to you?, asked Figi.
I got bit by a werewolf., said Werehound.
Oh. Well, this is my friend, Kaze Kariudo., said Figi as she pointed to a man who appeared to have several ninjas with him.
Hello., said Kaze Kariudo.
Hi., said Radevil.
An alarm sounded and Ghost Widows voice echoes throughout the Rogue Isles.
Everybody go to Atlas Park in Paragon City immediately. Repeat, everybody go to Atlas Park in Paragon City immediately.
I wonder what thats about., said Radevil.
All the villains of the Rogue Isles started flying, teleporting, jumping, running, getting on helicopters and getting on boats to head to Paragon City.

Silent Spy, NeoRadiation, Netherflare, Surgetron and Tribal Axe arrived in Atlas Park.
Spy, I got something to tell you., said Netherflare.
So do I., said Surgetron.
Me too., said Silent Spy. Crey Industries is making something that disables anyone from using their super powers.
Ya, I know. They are drugging heroes to work for them., said Surgetron. Sorry for attacking you Netherflare, they drugged me.
Oh. Well, I just needed to tell you that Surgetron was evil. But I guess he was drugged., said Netherflare.
Netherflare stutters in embarrassment as NeoRadiation and Tribal Axe join in on the conversation.
Whats going on?, asked NeoRadiation.
Crey made something that disables us from using powers. They are launching it tonight. said Surgetron. However, know the antidote. It lasts a few hours.
So, what can we do about it?, asked Tribal Axe.
We have to fight back. In the meantime, here is the antidote., said Surgetron.
Surgetron pulled out a case with ten small bottles in it. The five heroes each took one, leaving five left over.
Next, we just need to find out where.
A large mass of villains flew into Atlas Park.
Were under attack!, screamed a hero.
No, were not., said a government official into a podium. The villains have come to help us.
Help us?, shouted a hero.
Yes. You see Crey Industries is , started the government official.
Suddenly, the Atlas Park City Hall exploded into a million pieces. The globe of the Statue of Atlas also exploded and the statue toppled over, falling on top of helpless heroes.
-~Radevil~-
Radevil stared in shock as Atlas Park turned into a war zone, flying high above the ground. There was smoke everywhere, but Radevil was able to see heroes dying, running or attacking villains. Radevil was it in the back and fell down to the ground. Someone came from behind her and helped her up.
Watch yourself., said the voice. Its me, Figi.
Hey, Figi., said Radevil.
There was smoke surrounding them, but Figi grew a small Spirit Tree to help Radevil and anyone nearby recover from any injuries. Someone emerged from the smoke. It was Silent Spy.
You., said Silent Spy. You killed my mother.
Listen, that was an accident., said Radevil.
No it wasnt., said Silent Spy.
Yes it was, I meant to kill that hero., said Radevil.
You killed my mother., said Silent Spy.
I really hate to do this., said Radevil as she blasted Silent Spy with a bolt of radiation.
Silent Spy fell backwards as Radevil ran into the smoke. Radevil turned around to find Silent Spy being attacked by several vines. Figi looked at Radevil and winked. Werehound approached the two villains.
We need to get out of here., said Werehound. Werehound and Radevil turned to exit.
Wait!, said Figi. Wheres Kaze Kariudo?
I dont know., said Werehound.
We need to find him, we cant just leave him here., said Figi as she ran into the smoke.
Stay here., said Werehound to Radevil as he ran off into the smoke, helping Figi.
-~NeoRadiation~-
Help!, cried a voice.
NeoRadiation couldnt see a thing. He followed the sound of the voice until he found Netherflare, lying on the floor and injured. NeoRadiation helped Netherflare recover when an arrow was shot into his back.
NeoRadiation turned around. There were three ninjas. NeoRadiation quickly attacked one of the ninjas and defeated it. Netherflare summoned her Fire Imps to help him. After the three ninjas were defeated, another ninja appeared. This one was much more powerful. A man emerged from the smoke.
Who are you?, asked NeoRadiation.
My name is Kaze Kariudo., said the man. And your about to die.
Kaze Kariudo and the ninja pulled out their bow and arrows and pointed them at NeoRadiation. Netherflare quickly pushed NeoRadiation out of the way and ran off.
NeoRadiation flew up into the air, away from Kaze Kariudo.
-~Surgetron~-
Silent Spy! Netherflare! Tribal Axe!, shouted Surgetron.
A giant piece of Atlass globe was on top of Surgetron, pinning him down.
Somebody help me!, he yelled.
The piece of the globe lifted off Surgetron. Surgetron crawled out and stood up and looked at his savior. It was a werewolf.
Hello., said the werewolf.
Thank you, you saved me. You are my hero!, said Surgetron.
I wouldnt call myself that., said the werewolf as he began to laugh and jumped away.
Surgetron searched for the rest of his friends. He spotted Tribal Axe in the distance, on fire.
Surgetron ran to Tribal Axe.
Tribal! Youre on fire!, he shouted. Are you okay?
Tribal Axe laughed.
Im fine! This is what I do!, laughed Tribal Axe.

Tribal Axe and Surgetron ran to the voice where they found Silent Spy in a natural disaster, literally. Plants were attacking her and large vines were growing out of the ground, smacking anyone who gets near.
Tribal Axe ran into the vines and cut them in half with his axe and set them on fire with his fiery aura. He rescued Silent Spy and carried her to safety, followed by Surgetron.
Surgetron, Tribal Axe and Silent Spy ran into NeoRadiation and Netherflare.
Lets get out of here., said Surgetron.
I agree., said Tribal Axe.
The five heroes ran out of the smoke.
