Chapter VI: The Day After

Silent Spy sat in the hospital, waiting on the results of her two friends in the hospital, Netherflare and NeoRadiation.
A doctor walked towards Silent Spy.
How are they?, asked Silent Spy.
The girl is in stable condition. The boy is in critical condition and is being sent to a different hospital., replied the doctor.
What happened to Neo?, asked Silent Spy.
His lungs have collapsed. We are able to maintain a temporary respiration system, but the other hospital can give him new lungs., said the doctor.
Silent Spy slowly sat down in her chair as the doctor left the waiting room. Two Longbow officers entered the room.
Silent Spy, we need your help on a new case., said one of the officers.
Well, actually, its two cases., said the other one.
But its really only one that we need you for., said the first officer.
Just get to the point already., said Silent Spy.
We need you to investigate someone named Radevil., said the second officer.
No we dont. We need you to investigate this person., said the first officer as he handed her a file.
Silent Spy opened up the file and found a picture of a ninja.
You want me to spy on a ninja?, asked Silent Spy.
Yes, he calls himself Mei Kyoujin., said the first officer.
It is Japanese for dark assassins dagger., said the second officer.
He is in the Rogue Isles, you will probably need help with this case, he is a ninja and is very well trained., said the first officer. Good luck.
The first officer left the hospital.
Also, see if you can get any information on this Radevil. Positron wants to know., said the second officer as he followed the other one out of the hospital.

Radevil returned to the mansion as soon as she woke up the next morning.
She was amazed at what she saw. Nearly the entire place had been destroyed.
Lord Recluse was using his spider-arms to clean up as Ghost Widow was punishing the guards who let the Freedom Phalanx in.
Radevil helped clean up some of the rubble and she began helping out the damage inside when she Lord Recluse approached her.
I heard that you fought against Positron., said Lord Recluse.
Yes, how did you hear that?, asked Radevil.
Captain Mako saw you. He said you did well.
Thank you.
I think your ready to become a true villain, Helen.
Please, call me Radevil.

Silent Spy calls up her friend, Surgetron.
Hey, Surge?, said Silent Spy.
Heya, Spy., said Surgetron.

No can do. Investigating some villain named ZapperScurge. Gotta go., said Surgetron.
Silent Spy hangs up the phone. She tries to call everyone she knows, but they are all working on a villain of some sort.
Silent Spy goes to visit Netherflare in her room.
Hey, Nether., said Silent Spy.
Hey, Spy. Rough night, huh?, says Netherflare.
Very rough night. Are you okay?
Ya, Im fine. Cuts and bruises. They wont me let use my powers. I could fix it.
Oh. I was wondering if you want to help me out with a case.
-~Radevil~-
Radevil flew around Lord Recluses mansion, looking for any bodies that may not have been picked up.
She noticed a peculiar body lying on the floor.
She flew down to get a look and she was right. It was a werewolf.
Hello?, asked Radevil as she shook the werewolf.
Suddenly, the werewolf woke up and punched Radevil in the face. He then slammed her into the ground until her nose broke. She fell to the floor, unconscious.
The werewolf picked up Radevil and carried her away.

Chapter VII: Prisoners
-~Cassandra Thine~-
Cassandra Thine was lying down in her bed, wide-awake. It was midnight, and she hasnt gotten sleep in days.
She keeps getting images of three girls that are all being a hostage or a prisoner. She cant even distinguish the faces, but she feels that one of them is her.
She has been kidnapped many times by the Circle of Thorns, most heroes refer to her as the missing fortuneteller. But, she is past those days. Ever since the heroes with bows and arrows came to Paragon City, she became worthless. Their new target was a woman named Lady Rose.
There was a knock on her door.
Cassandra jumped out of bed. The door broke open and three Tsoo members barged in followed by a Sorcerer.
Cassandra wasnt only a fortune teller, but she was also a fighter.
She tossed one of the Tsoo members out of her apartment window and made the other one fall asleep. She altered the third members fears to make him run away.
All that was left was the Sorcerer.
What do you want with me?, asked Cassandra.
The Sorcerer stepped into the light so she could see his face.
George?, asked Cassandra.
My name isnt George. My name is Haolk., said the Sorcerer.
-~Radevil~-
Radevil regained consciousness.
She was hanging from a tree branch by her arms in the middle of the woods.
Below her was the werewolf.
Who are you?, asked Radevil.
You can call me Werehound., said the werewolf.
Let me go., demanded Radevil.
No., said Werehound.
Werehound sat on a tree stump and watched her.
-~Phantoma Storm~-
Darkness.
All Phantoma has seen for a month is darkness. Occasionally someone will come with food and water, letting some light into the room as they walked in, but that is all the light.
Until today.
The man walked in with her food and water. As the door opened, she heard Ghost Widow.
Has anyone seen Radevil?, said Ghost Widow.
Phantoma recognized this moment as her chance for escape.
I know where she is!, said Phantoma before the door closed.
Ghost Widow entered the room.
What did you say?, asked Ghost Widow.
The heroes took her. They wanted something from her., Phantoma lied.
Where?, demanded Ghost Widow.
I cant tell you, but Ill show you., said Phantoma.
Fine, but if you try to escape, Ill rip youre soul out., said Ghost Widow.

Silent Spy and Netherflare were on a ferry headed to the Rogue Isles when her phone rang.
Hello?, asked Silent Spy.
Hello, Silent Spy. This is Longbow Agent Smith, we have just received word that your mother was abducted from her home., said the man on the phone.
By the Circle of Thorns?, asked Silent Spy. That happens a lot.
Not lately. And it was the Tsoo., said the man. We think she is being held hostage by a man named Haolk, an extremely strong villain. He is believed to be located in the Rogue Isles, he operates with the Tsoo in a base. Good luck.
Silent Spy hung up the phone.
Netherflare, we have a change of plans. Its personal., said Silent Spy.
Where to, then?, asked Netherflare.
Same place, new guy., said Silent Spy.
-~Radevil~-
Are you going to tell me what you want with me?, asked Radevil.
No., said Werehound.
Do you have a reason to kidnap me?, asked Radevil.
Yes., said Werehound.
Radevil realized that there is no way for her to escape, but she suddenly she had an idea.
She tried to break free and Werehound stood up. As he walked towards her, she swung her body towards him and kicked him in the face. She then flew up over the branch until it broke from the tree. She flipped around the branch in mid-air and broke it in half and flew off.
-~Phantoma Storm~-
I think they said they were going to take here here., said Phantoma as she led Ghost Widow and two guards away from help.
Suddenly, Phantoma stopped. She summoned a lightning cloud that struck the two guards. The two guards were disoriented. Phantoma then caused a gust of wind to blow the three villains away. She made it rain hail until the two guards were defeated. Ghost Widow lifted Phantoma into the air, ready to rip out her soul.
Die, hero., said Ghost Widow as she began to tear out Phantomas soul.
-~Silent Spy-~
Silent Spy led Netherflare to a small blue portal.
What is this place?, asked Netherflare.
Its a portal. I know where they are keeping my mother., said Silent Spy.
How?, asked Netherflare.
Netherflare, Im a spy, remember? I was trained by the Tsoo, I know how they work.
Silent Spy grabbed Netherflares arm and pushed her into the portal.
Spy!, screamed Netherflare as she was sucked into the portal. Suddenly, her body began spinning in all directions and she started getting further away in the portal. Then, there was a flash and she was gone.
Silent Spy jumped into the portal after Netherflare.
-~Phantoma Storm~-
Ghost Widow was tearing at Phantomas soul, but was unsuccessful.
What?, asked Ghost Widow.
Silly girl, I have no soul., said Phantoma Storm.
A strong wind blew and it knocked Ghost Widow back. Ghost Widows soul ripper ability was tossed back at her and towards her. Ghost Widows soul was ripped out and then replaced.
Do you want to see my soul?, asked Phantoma Storm, to Ghost Widow who was flinching in fear and pain.
In a far place, there was the scream of Ghost Widow.
Then, there was silence.
---Next Chapter: Silent Spy and Netherflare venture into the Tsoos base, when they get in grave danger. Phantoma Storm tries to escape the Rogue Isles. Meanwhile, Radevil gets a difficult task.---

Chapter VIII: Speak of the Devil
-~Silent Spy~-
Netherflare?, said Silent Spy as she stood in the Tsoos base.
Netherflare was nowhere insight.
Silent Spy walked around the corridors, looking for her companion. As she walked through the hallways, a ninja star flew in front of her face and at the wall.
Silent Spy ran towards the attacker. It was a group of three Tsoo members.
Get her., said one of the Tsoo members.
The other two Tsoo ran towards her.
Silent Spy quickly defeated them and charged at the third one.
The third Tsoo member vanished in thin air.
Silent Spy tripped while she was running and fell down a trap door in the floor.
She fell into a pit where she found Netherflare.
Hey, Spy., said Netherflare.
Hello, Jessica., said another person in the pit.
Who said that?, asked Silent Spy.
Its your mother., said the woman.
What do they want with you?, asked Silent Spy.
They want me for a ritual., said Cassandra.
-~Radevil~-
Radevil heard a scream.
She flew towards the scream, where she found Ghost Widow, lying on the floor.
What happened?, asked Radevil.
Radevil, I need you
to kill her., said Ghost Widow.
Who?, asked Radevil.
Ghost Widow pointed at Phantoma Storm. Radevil turned to Phantoma Storm.
I remember you. You are the hero that made me the way I am., said Radevil.
Im sorry, I dont remember you., said Phantoma.
Try to remember me now!, yelled Radevil as she blasted a bolt of radiation at Phantoma.
Phantoma dodged the bolt and looked at Radevil.
Now I remember you., said Phantoma.
The bushes shook quickly.
What was that?, asked Radevil.
I dont know., said Phantoma.
Werehound jumped out of the bushes and tackled Radevil.
Phantoma began to run away.
Get off of me! I need to kill her!, shouted Radevil as she wrestled with Werehound.
She escaped Werehound and chased after Phantoma, with Werehound chasing after her.
-~Silent Spy~-
What kind of ritual?, asked Silent Spy.
Im not sure., said Cassandra.
A Sorcerer opened up the hatch door and teleported Cassandra out of the hatch.
No!, yelled Silent Spy.
The hatch door slammed shut.
Now what?, asked Netherflare.
I have a plan., said Silent Spy.
Silent Spy jumped up the hatch and pushed open the door. She then jumped back down and carried Netherflare up.
Silent Spy and Netherflare wandered through the hallway, looking for Cassandra.
Finally, they found where she was.
She was in an orb, floating in the air.
There was a giant room with a large statue of a dragons head with an open mouth. In the room were five other orbs. One of the orbs had people in it, the other four didnt. In total there were six orbs, one with Cassandra and one with another man.
Silent Spy and Netherflare hid behind a column as the Tsoo leader walked up to a podium.
The Speedster, The Psychic, The Devil, The Wolf, The Spy, and The Hollow One., said the Tsoo leader, as he read from the scroll. The Tsoo leader put away the scroll.
Right now we have the Speedster and the Psychic. We need the Devil, the Wolf, the Spy and the Hollow One. Find them, and bring them to me.
Silent Spy and Netherflare began to walk away when one of the Tsoo members spotted them.
Intruders!, yelled the Tsoo member.
All the Tsoo members surrounded Netherflare and Silent Spy, ready to attack.
The Tsoo leader pushed his way through the crowd and towards them.
Its you., said Silent Spy as she looked at the Tsoo leader. It was Mei Kyoujin, the man she was originally looking for. You are Mei Kyoujin.
You can call me Haolk., said the leader. The question is, who are you?
I am Netherflare, your worst nightmare., said Netherflare.
Netherflare surrounded many of the Tsoo members in circles of fire. She then summoned her fire imps to destroy them. Within a minute, half the army was wiped out.
Haolk quickly shot Netherflare with a tranquilizing arrow.
Netherflare fell to the floor unconscious.
Who are you?, demanded Haolk.
You can call me Silent Spy., said Silent Spy.
You. You are the Spy., said Haolk.
What?, asked Silent Spy.
Haolk then shot Silent Spy with a tranquilizing arrow.
-~Phantoma Storm~-
Phantoma Storm kept running away from Radevil and the werewolf chasing her.
She kept running until she arrived at a beach.
She spotted a boat far out in the water.
Phantoma flew onto the boat, hoping to get rid of Radevil and the werewolf. However, Radevil flew after her and the werewolf jumped from the beach onto the boat.
Phantoma looked around. It was a cruise ship. Everyone on the upper deck ran inside screaming.
Look what you did!, said Phantoma.
What did you expect? Two people flew onto a boat followed by a flying werewolf. Of course they ran., said Radevil.
Shut up!, yelled Werehound.
Werehound smacked Radevil across the face and knocked her to the ground.
He then picked her up and was about to throw her off the ship.
No!, yelled Phantoma.
Phantoma Storm caused a massive storm and summoned a bolt of lightning to hit Werehound, but it missed.
The lightning bolt hit the cruise ship and the winds began to tip the cruise ship over.
Look what you did!, yelled Radevil.
Werehound then tossed Radevil off the ship.
The ship began to turn over.
Phantoma and Werehound slid off the boat, but Phantoma was able to fly off.
She tried to stop the storm, but she couldnt do anything. She saw many of the people on the cruise ship escape on emergency rafts, but she knew there must be some people stuck inside. It was at a vertical angle, sinking quickly.
Phantoma flew inside a window and began to look for others.
---Next Chapter: Danger is everywhere. Radevil and Werehound struggle to survive while Phantoma Storm tries to save others. Silent Spy is reunited with her mother as Netherflare begins a journey of her own.---

Chapter IX: Survival
-~Phantoma Storm~-
Is anyone in here?, yelled Phantoma Storm.
The cruise ship was vertical and halfway filled with water.
Phantoma Storm looked for any survivors.
Hello?, yelled Phantoma.
A childs body floated up to the surface.
Oh, no!, she shouted as she flew down the child.
She picked him out of the water. The boy began to move.
Youre alive., said Phantoma.
Wheres my mommy?, cried the boy.
Phantoma quickly took the boy off the boat.
She began looking around on the rafts for anyone to recognize the boy.
Then there was a voice.
My boy!, yelled the mother.
Phantoma Storm rushed over to the mother and gave her the child.
She then flew back inside the cruise ship, looking for any other survivors.
-~Werehound~-
Werehound coughed up water as he crawled up the sand beach.
He had no idea where he was, he is unfamiliar with most of the Rogue Isles.
A young woman drifted to the shore.
It was a girl who appeared to be on the cruise ship, she was unconscious.
Werehound took her to the dry beach and began to perform CPR.
Of course, when she regained consciousness, the girl was freaked out to see that her hero was a werewolf.
The girl ran screaming, into the woods on the island.
Werehound then remembered how he got here
the other screaming woman.
His name was James Dean. He was a nuclear physicist and was heading to Terra Volta after there was a reported accident. While driving down Valor Bridge, a woman was running down the road, screaming. She was running straight towards him. James tried to drive out of the way, but swerved off the road, and off the bridge.

Silent Spy was floating in an orb.
There were six orbs and three of them had people in it, including her.
She was now able to get a close look at the other man in the orb. It was Synapse!
Synapse?, asked Silent Spy.
Im ashamed to say that it is me., said Synapse.
Well, its good that youre here. The Freedom Phalanx will come., said Silent Spy.
No, they wont. They will barely notice that Im gone., said Synapse. They think that I went out for the night. They have no idea where I am.
Silent Spy looked at Cassandra, her mother.
Whats going on here?, asked Silent Spy.
Its a ritual., said Cassandra. They want to use us as some sort of a sacrifice.
So, how are we going to escape?, asked Silent Spy.
Were not. I had a vision of this ritual taking place., said Cassandra.
Silent Spy sighed.
Where is Netherflare?, she thought.
-~Netherflare~-
Where is Silent Spy?, thought Netherflare.
Netherflare was in a glass case that hung from the ceiling in a bunker. Next to her was another man in a case, also a hero.
Hello., said Netherflare.
Hi., said the hero.
What is your name?, asked Netherflare.
My name is Surgetron., said the hero.
Hello, Im Netherflare., she replied.
Surgetron looked depressed and deep in thought, so Netherflare decided not to bother him. Instead, she tried to look for a way out.
Netherflare began to bang on the glass, but it didnt crack.
There is no way out., said Surgetron.
-~Radevil~-
Radevil swam to the surface.
There was panic everywhere as the cruise ship was sinking to the bottom of the ocean.
Radevil tried to fly out of the water, but she didnt have enough energy. Even if she has committed herself to evil, she knew it wasnt right to let the people on the cruise ship die.
But she just didnt have enough energy
at all.
Radevil passed out and woke up on a sandy beach.
-~Werehound~-
Werehound saw Radevil drift to the beach
drifting
James Dean washed ashore at Mercy Island. He was confused, unaware of anything, and vulnerable to anything. A woman found him and took care of him. She told him she was a villain by the name of Figi. She was once a hero, but then changed her ways. She influenced James to do the same, but he had no powers
yet.
Werehound picked up Radevil and carried her off into the woods.
Where are you taking me?, asked Radevil. What do you want with me?
Werehound dropped Radevil on the ground.
You want to know?, asked Werehound angrily. I was bit by a werewolf when I was alone. Its not safe in the Rogue Isles. We need to be together.
So why did you tie me up earlier?, asked Radevil.
To make sure you stayed., said Werehound.
-~Phantoma Storm~-
The ship sunk.
Phantoma was trapped inside, looking for anyone else.
There is nobody else.
Phantoma tried to escape the cruise ship.
She crawled out of the window and began to swim up to the surface. However, a shark swam towards her.
She swam faster as the shark bit her leg.
Phantoma bled until she passed out.
-~Netherflare~-
Netherflare sat in the case. It feels like she has been there for days.
A man entered the room.
Who are you?, asked Netherflare.
The man did not respond.
What do you want with me?, asked Netherflare.
Nothing., said the man.
Then let me go., demanded Netherflare.
Fine., said the man.
Really?, asked Netherflare, surprised.
Yes., said the man.
Suddenly, the glass case began to rise higher towards the ceiling. Part of the ceiling opened up and the glass case was sucked in. The glass case shot up into the air, through a vent. The case launched out of the roof a building.
Help!, yelled Netherflare as she was shot into the sky, stuck in the glass case.
The case began to fall and Netherflare watched as she fell down towards the ground. The case fell back into the vent and right back to where she started
Well, was that fun? I said Id let you go., said the man. The man then left the room.
The same thing happened to me., said Surgetron.
That was weird., said Netherflare.
Did you get a look at what is outside?, asked Surgetron.
No.
Me neither., said Surgetron.
-~Werehound~-
Radevil and Werehound searched through the woods.
There was rustling in the bushes.
Hello?, said Radevil.
Werehound and Radevil became ready to attack. Suddenly a large portal opened.
What the hell?, said Radevil as she approached the portal.
An arm popped out of the portal and pulled Radevil in.
Help!, yelled Radevil as she was sucked in.
No!, yelled Werehound.
He went to help her, but knew whatever was in there is dangerous.
Suddenly, an arrow flung out of the portal and shot him in the neck. He fell to the floor, beginning to lose consciousness. A Sorcerer walked out of the portal and pulled Werehound in.

Chapter X: The Last One
-~Silent Spy~-
There was cheering.
The Tsoo were all around her
she remembers the Tsoo
The Circle of Thorns constantly kidnapped Cassandra Thine, Silent Spys mother, a fortune teller. However, when Cassandra was pregnant with Silent Spy, the Circle of Thorns handed the baby over to the Tsoo. Silent Spy was separated from her mother and raised by the Tsoo to be one of them. In fact, she was the best fighter of the Tsoo. However, Silent Spy began to notice how evil the Tsoo were. She fought against them and ran away, hoping never to see them again. It was then when she learned about her mother. She rescued her mother and they were reunited, for a while. Her mother was kidnapped over and over again, until finally it stopped.
And now the Tsoo want Silent Spy and Cassandra and several others
Silent Spy woke up in her floating orb. She watched as hundreds of Tsoo soldiers cheered as two people were dragged across the room. Both of the people were thrown into orbs. The orbs then floated towards Silent Spy, Cassandra and Synapse.
One was a girl, the other was a werewolf.
Hello., said the girl.
Do I know you? , asked Silent Spy.
I know you. My name is Radevil., said the girl.
Yes, I know of you., said Silent Spy.
I am Werehound., said the werewolf.
Why are we here?, asked Radevil.
A ritual., replied Cassandra.
Only one person is missing., said Synapse.
The hollow one., said Cassandra.
-~Surgetron~-
As Surgetron sat in his case, remembering the last time he was in a lab like this
Saadiq Nightfall worked for Crey Industries. However, Saadiq began to realize how evil Crey Industries was. They tried to eliminate him by exploding the lab he was in, but failed to kill him. Instead, he was exposed to radiation and was electrocuted, granting him powers to manipulate electricity with a powerful surge. Thus, he became Surgetron.
We need to get out of here., said Surgetron.
How do you plan on doing that?, asked Netherflare, who was being held captive in the case next to him.
What can you do?, asked Surgetron.
Manipulate fire, why?, asked Netherflare.
You can melt the case open., said Surgetron.
Why didnt I think of that?, said Netherflare as she began to melt away the glass case.
-~Phantoma Storm~-
Phantoma Storm washed ashore and regained consciousness. Her leg was badly bruised. She manipulated the fresh oxygen in the air to restore her wound.
She was on a beach in a mysterious island, lost at sea
again
Tabitha C. Salamanca was kidnapped by a group of pirates. On the pirate ship, she began to become one with nature. She quickly learned to manipulate weather and realized that this can help he escape. She summoned a bad storm to destroy the pirate ship. All of the pirates died, but come back to haunt her. They took away her soul and made her delusional. She was able to create illusions. With the phantom ghosts that haunt her and the powers to manipulate illusions and weather, she became Phantoma Storm. A hero.
As Phantoma sat on the beach, she heard a scream coming from the woods.
She ran through the woods until she found something peculiar. It was a Crey Industries lab.
She walked closer to the lab when there was another scream coming from the woods. She ran towards the scream and found the werewolf that chased her earlier be sucked into a portal.
Phantoma quickly made herself appear invisible and jumped into the portal.
-~Cassandra Thine~-
Cassandra sat in her orb.
She knew the ritual was going to happen tonight.
She looked around her, Werehound and Radevil were staring out her.
Do I know you two?, she asked.
No., said Werehound. But I know you.
Yes, you know me., said Radevil.
Who are you two?, asked Cassandra.
Do you remember the day that Lucy died?, asked Radevil.
Cassandra stared at Radevil in awe.
You, you are that Helen girl?, said Cassandra.
Helen DiVil?, asked Silent Spy, remembering that name.
Helen?, asked Werehound.
Yes., said Radevil.
Cassandra remembered that day
After Lucy was killed and the shelter exploded, Cassandra was alone in the disaster area of Terra Volta. She ran towards Independence Port, but was attacked by the Sky Raiders on her way there. She managed to escape them and ran into Independence Port, down Valor Bridge. A car was driving towards and Cassandra screamed. The car swerved out of the way and went off the bridge. Cassandra fell to the ground and woke up the next week in the hospital.
Do you remember me?, asked Werehound. You were running, I was driving.
Yes, I remember you., whispered Cassandra.
-~Netherflare~-
The glass has almost melted open.
Tammy Rip died. Crey Industries experimented on her in Founders Falls when her body was taken away by the Devouring Earth. She returned from the dead and became Netherflare.
The glass melted open and Netherflare fell out. She hit a button in the lab to release Surgetron.
Thanks., said Surgetron.
No problem., said Netherflare.
Get her!, said a loud voice from outside of the room.
Countess Crey barged into the room with two guards and a scientist.
The scientist shot Surgetron with some sort of dart-gun.
The dart hit Surgetron in the neck.
Die, freak!, said Surgetron.
Surgetron blasted electricity at Netherflare, electrocuting her and knocking her backwards in the wall.
Netherflare felt her heart begin to race up faster and faster as if it were going to explode.
Then, it stopped.
-~Phantoma Storm~-
Phantoma looked around her.
There were six orbs floating in the sky, five of them were filled.
A Tsoo leader approached a podium in the room.
Find the Hollow One! Then we have them all and the ritual will begin!, shouted the leader.
Phantoma cowered in fear.
I cannot mess this up., thought Phantoma.
Phantoma Storm and her team entered the Terra Volta reactor. Her team was pretty well-rounded. There was a man who was invulnerable, a martial artist, a energy blaster, a healer and a Kheldian warshade. The heroes got closer to the reactor and then had to cross a long hallway.
There are bombs in the hallway., said Phantoma. Stay away from them.
Calm down., said the Warshade. We will be fine.
You better be., said the healer. I dont want to be responsible.
The invulnerable tanker, the martial artist, the blaster, the Warshade, the healer and Phantoma Storm walked down the hallway carefully.
Suddenly, an alarm sounded.
Phantoma Storm and the Warshade ran ahead.
The tank, martial artist, blaster and healer began to run after.
Then a bomb went off. The bomb exploded covered the hallway. All the bombs began to go off, knocking everyone in the hallway around.
The Warshade and Phantoma were able to protect themselves by going invisible. When the explosion cleared, the tanker and martial artist walked out of the hallway. The healer was dead in the hall.
Crap., said Phantoma.
We need to hurry., said the tanker.
Im leaving., said the blaster and began to walk away.
The tanker, martial artist, Warshade and Phantoma ran towards the reactor core door.
Dont open the door., said the martial artist.
But it was too late. Phantoma Storm had opened the door. A minute later, the reactor was almost completely destroyed.
Run!, yelled the tanker. Ill stay here.
Phantoma, the Warshade and the martial artist ran towards the exit. Phantoma turned back and saw the reactor explode. There was a bright light coming from the door, earthquakes and then darkness.
When the it grew light again, everyone was dead except for Phantoma Storm
and it was all her fault.
I cannot mess this up., thought Phantoma. Not again.
She was still invisible and began to look for a way to free the others.
-~Radevil~-
Radevil began to get nervous. She felt as if it were the end of the world, and she had something to do with it.
She tried thinking of a way to escape, but there was no way. Then, an idea came to her.
I have a plan., said Radevil.
Cassandra, Silent Spy, Werehound and Synapse leaned forward, interested.
"We must fight back when they try to perform the ritual..."
-~Surgetron~-
You have done well, Surgetron., said Countess Crey.
Thank you., said Surgetron.
Unfortunately for you, you have not done good enough., said Countess Crey.
What do you mean?, asked Surgetron.
Countess Crey pulled out a pistol.
Youre not needed anymore., said Countess Crey.
Countess Crey shot three times at Surgetron. One bullet went in his chest, one in the arm and on in his stomach. Surgetron fell to the ground, bleeding.
-~Phantoma Storm~-
Phantoma Storm looked for anyway to free the hostages.
As she looked, she accidentally bumped into one of the Tsoo.
There is somebody else here., said the Tsoo.
The Tsoo members and the Tsoo leader began searching in the room. There appeared to be thousands of them.
Phantoma then had an idea.
Phantoma Storm summoned a giant illusion that caused everyone in the room to see their worst fears
their nightmares came to life.
Everyone in the room began to hallucinate that they were in their nightmare
As the Tsoo members screamed in panic, Phantoma Storm was able to find a switch that released the hostages from their orbs.
Then, Phantomas nightmare began.
-~Werehound~-
Werehound saw his worst nightmare.
Werehound fell under Phantomas illusionary spell.
The Tsoo members changed their forms and became werewolves.
Werehound tried to fight off the werewolves.
He threw them, punched them, bit them and even ripped a piece out of the ground and chucked it, but it was no use. There were too many werewolves
~-Cassandra Thine~-
Cassandra saw her worst nightmare.
Cassandra fell out of the orb and looked around her.
The Circle of Thorns suddenly surrounded the room.
The Circle of Thorns began to creep towards her.
Kill Cassandra., said one of the mages.
No!, yelled Cassandra.
Cassandra shot a psionic blast of energy at the mage, sending it flying across the room. She then lifted another one off the ground and swung its body around, using it is a shield and weapon.
-~Silent Spy~-
Silent Spy saw her worst nightmare.
The hundreds of Tsoo members began to get stronger and charge at her.
Across the room, she saw Haolk. Haolk grew into a giant monster. He jumped towards her and picked her up. Haolk then threw Silent Spy.
She felt herself get tossed through the air and into the wall. Silent Spy blacked out.
-~Radevil~-
Radevil saw her worst nightmare.
There were explosions and radiation was everywhere. Then, Radevil saw a face.
It was Ghost Widow.
Radevil., said Ghost Widow.
Yes, my master?, asked Radevil.
Kill the enemy. Dont forget. Kill the enemy., said Ghost Widow.
Who is the enemy?, asked Radevil.
Her., said Ghost Widow.
Phantoma Storm emerged from the crowd.
Kill her., said Ghost Widow.
-~Cassandra Thine~-
Cassandra fell to the floor weak. She had a vision
There was chaos. Her daughter, Silent Spy, was there.
No!, yelled Silent Spy.
In my honor., said a distant voice.
It grew dark.
Then there was an explosion.
Help!, cried a voice.
No!, cried another voice.
Completed!, said a third.
She couldnt make out the vision
Cassandra then blinked. The nightmare had ended. The Circle of Thorns was gone, but the Tsoo were still there. She was the only one who was no longer affected by Phantomas spell.
-~Phantoma Storm~-
Phantoma Storm saw her worst nightmare.
The ghosts of her memories were everywhere.
Suddenly, a giant ghost ship approached her. The cannon fired and a cannonball of ghosts flew at her.
-~Silent Spy~-
Silent Spy regained consciousness and looked around her. She was no longer hallucinating. She hoped she was
No!, yelled Silent Spy.
-~Radevil~-
Radevil walked towards Phantoma as she launched a giant neuron bomb at Phantoma Storm.
In my honor., said Ghost Widow with a smirk.
As the bomb was launched, it grew dark.
Help!, yelled Phantoma Storm.
No!, repeated Silent Spy across the room.
The bomb set off. There was a huge, massive explosion.
Radevil was sent flying backwards and across the room. When she got up, everyone was unconscious or dead on the floor.
Completed!, said Radevil as she looked up at Ghost Widow.
Good, she is dead now., said Ghost Widow. Let me take you back.
Radevil suddenly teleported away.
ONE DAY LATER
-~Silent Spy~-
Silent Spy woke up in a bed. She was in the hospital.
Silent Spy sat up as a doctor walked towards her.
What happened?, asked Silent Spy.
There was an explosion., said the doctor.
Did anyone else survive?, asked Silent Spy.
No., said the doctor. You were the only survivor.
Silent Spy stared at the doctor in shock and began to cry.

Book II
Chapter I: A New Beginning
-~Silent Spy~-
Silent Spy sat in her apartment, in the dark. She sat there in mourning and hasnt left the house in days.
She opened up the old newspaper and looked at an article headlining, Villain Kills Synapse and Others She read through the article and dropped the paper.
It was about Synapses death, her mothers death and a friends death.
The phone rang. Silent Spy slowly picked it up.
Hello?, asked Silent Spy.
Hello., said the man on the phone.
Who is this?, asked Silent Spy.
Are you ready to come back to work?, asked the man.
No., she replied harshly. Who is this?
This is Statesman. Me and Sister Psyche are on our way to talk with you., said the man on the phone.
Silent Spy hung up the phone and sat down on her bed, hysterically crying.
There was a knock on the door.
Silent Spy opened the door and Sister Psyche walked in.
Im so sorry to hear about your mother and Phantoma Storm., said Sister Psyche.
Im sorry to hear about Synapse., said Silent Spy.
Yes, me too., said Sister Psyche.
Sister Psyche sat down at the table with Silent Spy. Statesman walked into the apartment and seated himself.
How are you feeling?, asked Sister Psyche.
Terrible., said Silent Spy.
Silent Spy, we need to ask you some questions., said Statesman.
Sure., said Silent Spy.
Who was the villain?, asked Statesman.
She went by the name of Radevil. I think I knew who she is. I have seen those powers before
, said Silent Spy.
What exactly happened?, asked Sister Psyche.
I was given a case to find a man named Mei Kyoujin. Me and a friend, Netherflare, we working on the case when I was informed my mother was taken by the Tsoo. We went to find my mother and I was separated from Netherflare. Synapse, my mother and I were held hostages and needed for some form of a ritual. Then, Radevil and a werewolf named Werehound were needed. The next thing I knew, I was having a nightmare and Radevil launched a neuron bomb at Phantoma. I dont know how Phantoma got there, I havent seen her in months., said Silent Spy.
Who is Netherflare?, asked Sister Psyche.
Netherflare
, said Silent Spy, remembering her friend.
Where is she?, asked Statesman.
I
I dont know., said Silent Spy as she broke into tears and ran off.
-~Radevil~-
You have done well., said Lord Recluse.
Radevil was in Lord Recluses rebuilt mansion, with some of his trusted assistants.
Thank you, my lord., said Radevil.
You even managed to kill Synapse., said Lord Recluse.
Yes, but I rather it was Positron than him., said Radevil.
Still seeking revenge?, asked Ghost Widow.
Yes., said Radevil.
Would you like me to kill him?, asked Black Scorpion.
No, I think that I can do it myself., said Radevil.
I will give you any help you need., said Lord Recluse.
Thank you., said Radevil.
Captain Mako barged into the mansion and shut the doors behind him and locked them.
Master., said Captain Mako.
Yes?, asked Lord Recluse.
There has been
an incident., said Captain Mako.
Ghost Widow, Captain Mako and Lord Recluse walked towards the door and peered out the door window.
Suddenly, the doors were knocked down as a car flew threw the doors.
Lord Recluse grabbed the car with his spidery arms and chucked it back outside.
Ghost Widow grabbed Radevil by the arm and took her into a secret exit, followed by Captain Mako and Black Scorpion.
-~Silent Spy~-
Silent Spy ran through Paragon City looking for Netherflare or any sign of where she can be. She has already interrogated the Tsoo, Circle of Thorns, Hellions, Skulls, Trolls, Outcasts, Council, the Rikti and even the Banished Pantheon. She then had an idea
Crey Industries.
Silent Spy jumped to the top story of the Crey Industries tower in Steel Canyon and jumped through the window.
Countess Crey sat at her desk, right in front of Silent Spy.
Hello, Silent Spy., said Countess Crey.
What did you do with Netherflare?, asked Silent Spy.
What do you mean?, asked Countess Crey.
Did you do something to Netherflare?, asked Silent Spy.
No., said Countess Crey.
Are you lying to me again, Countess?, asked Silent Spy. Do you remember last time you lied?
Yes, I believe you went to jail., said Countess Crey with an evil smirk,
What did you do to Netherflare?, asked Silent Spy.
I told you that I didnt do anything
directly., said Countess Crey.
What did you get someone else to do?
Oh, shes dead now, its no use.
You killed her?
No, I said I got someone else to kill her.
Youre to blame.
Silent Spy charged at Countess Crey, ready to tackle her.
Suddenly, Countess Crey pulled out a new Crey weapon and shot Silent Spy.
The gun paralyzed Silent Spy and knocked her out of the building.
Silent Spy fell paralyzed for one hundred floors of the building and then was able to control her body. She jumped through a window at the bottom of the building and rolled inside.
She was on the second floor, if she did not jump in, she would have inevitably died.
Silent Spy looked around. She remembered this building, she used to spy here a lot. She opened up one of the secret doors to the Crey Industries lab and was shocked at what she found.
-~Radevil~-
Keep on moving., urged Ghost Widow.
Radevil, Ghost Widow, Black Scorpion and Captain Mako walked through a secret cave exit. Then, there was a minor earthquake. Part of the cave caved in. Black Scorpion, Ghost Widow and Captain Mako were on one side; Radevil was on the other.
Keep moving, Radevil!, shouted Ghost Widow.
Radevil continued walking through the cave, suddenly, another part of the cave collapsed.
Slowly, the entire cave began to collapse.
Help me!, screamed Radevil.
-~Chief Longbow Jackson~-
Chief Longbow Jackson has worked for the Longbow for many years. As he wandered through the rubble of the once-Tsoo base, he was surprised to find one more survivor.
And then, he died.

Chapter V: Spiders and Capes
-~Silent Spy~-
It was dark.
Silent Spy stood guard outside Lord Recluses mansion with the Longbow agents. Her walkie-talkie began to make a noise.
Hello?, said the voice in the walkie-talkie.
Yes? This is Silent Spy., she replied.
Hey, Spy. This is Manticore.
Hey Manticore.
Were going in, good luck guys.
Ya, good luck to you, too., said Silent Spy.
-~Helen DiVil~-
Helen DiVil sat at the grand table in Lord Recluses dining room. There were plenty of villains there. There was Lord Recluse, Ghost Widow, Captain Mako, Scirocco, Ixtab, Black Scorpion, the Oborotaen, Ghede, Silver Mantis, Ice Mistral and Glimpse.
Welcome, guests., said Lord Recluse.
Not quite a guest any more, Lord Recluse., said Ghost Widow jokingly.
There was a knock on the door.
Did you invite anyone else, master?, asked Helen.
No., replied Lord Recluse.
All the villains stood up and walked away from the table. Captain Mako, Glimpse and Silver Mantis disappeared into the shadows. The other villains gathered around the door, ready for combat.
Helen crouched in a corner of the room, in fear of death.
There was an explosion and the door blasted into the mansion. Statesman flew into the mansion and tackled Lord Recluse through the wall.
Sister Psyche, Positron, Synapse, Citadel, Manticore, Mynx, Ms. Liberty, Infernal, Numina, Back Alley Brawler, Swan, Valkyrie, Aurora Borealis, Ravenstorm, Moonfire and Luminary run inside the mansion.
Captain Mako appeared behind Back Alley Brawler and killed him with one vicious strike.
As Aurora turned to help him, she fell to the floor after Glimpse killed her.
Manticore fired an arrow towards Helen.
Helen ducked as the arrow flew towards her and skimmed over her head. Manticore was then lifted off the ground and Ghost Widow ripped his soul out.
Infernal charged at Ghost Widow, but was killed by Silver Mantis.
One by one the Freedom Phalanx fell as the villains prevailed.
-~Silent Spy-~
The walkie-talkie cracked.
Hello?, answered Silent Spy.
Silent Spy? This is Sister Psyche, we need backup., said the voice on the walkie-talkie.
Silent Spy pulled out a flare gun and shot it into the sky.
Immediately, two heroes arrived.
Netherflare, reporting for duty., said one of the heroes.
NeoRadiation, on the job., said the other hero.
The Freedom Phalanx needs us., said Silent Spy as she led the heroes towards Lord Recluses mansion.
The three heroes crept into the mansion.
Hello?, said Silent Spy, trying to look for somebody.
There was no answer. There was a loud scream coming from upstairs.
Silent Spy, NeoRadiation and Netherflare ran up the stairs and into a room where Sister Psyche was being beaten by Black Scorpion.
Netherflare sent out a group of Fire Imps at Black Scorpion as NeoRadiation attacked. Black Scorpion defeated the Fire Imps without any troubles and charged at NeoRadiaton. He punched NeoRadiation so hard that he was tossed threw the wall.
Silent Spy attacked Black Scorpion, but realized that it was no good. Netherflare tried burning him, but his armor was too strong.
Black Scorpion smacked Netherflare backwards and into a wall.
Help me, Neo!, cried Netherflare.
Im not a healer! Im a fighter!, yelled NeoRadiation, seconds before he was defeated by Black Scorpion.
Silent Spy and Netherflare were the only hope to fight Black Scorpion.
Silent Spy ran at him, but Black Scorpion smashed her like a hammer, knocking her through the floor. She fell down two stories until she landed in the basement.
There was a loud explosion and Netherflare came tumbling down into the basement after Silent Spy.
I got him., said Netherflare weakly.
Silent Spy and Netherflare looked around. It was dark, but Netherflare was able to use fire to make light.
What is this place?, asked Silent Spy.
I have no idea., said Netherflare.
The lights flickered on.
A body was tossed against a wall right next to Silent Spy.
It was Statesman!
Statesman, are you okay?, asked Silent Spy.
Here, let me help you., said Netherflare as she kneeled down to aid him.
The lights went out.
Netherflare created a little light again and began to help Statesman.
Suddenly, she vanished and disappeared into the darkness.
Hello?, asked Silent Spy.
No answer.
She was alone.
-~Helen DiVil~-
Helen sat in the corner, frightened. She had just witnessed two heroes fall from the floor above her, not knowing what just happened.
She ran up the stairs to find out, and found Black Scorpion unconscious on the ground.
She went to help him when she heard footsteps approaching. She turned to the door and found Positron watching her.
Hello., said Positron.
Positron blasted a bolt of radiation at Helen, but Helen did the same.
The two bolts collided and bounced off each other, hitting both Helen and Positron.
As she was falling out of the mansion, she began to hover and found Positron fly out of the window.

Hello?, she repeated.
The lights flickered back on.
Netherflare and Statesman were on the floor, weak. Lord Recluse stood over Netherflares body.

Oh, crap is right, hero., said Lord Recluse as he charged at her.
Silent Spy jumped out of the way and Lord Recluse slammed into the wall. He then hit her with one of his spidery arms, knocking her to the floor. She slid across the ground until she was near Netherflare.
Silent Spy quickly made Statesman and Netherflare invisible and then turned herself invisible.
Where are you?, yelled Lord Recluse.
Statesman slowly got off the ground and began to limp upstairs and out of the mansion. Silent Spy quickly picked up Netherflare and carried her body out and back towards Paragon City.

Helen flew after Positron as he flew over Mercy Island.
As they were flying, Positron turned around and spotted her. He blasted a bolt of radiation at her, knocking her out of flight. She fell from the sky and landed in the Cesspool, or a pool of contaminated water that is believed to make people crazy.
Who are you?, shouted Positron.
I am the devil!, yelled Helen. I am Radevil!
