BTW, to anyone who thought I was griefing, and spawn camping, by coming INTO the villain base last night, I'm sorry. There were two Watchguard Master Minds in there, taunting me on teamspeak, AND global, so I was going after them. After I DESTROYED them....utterly, and other villains jumped in, I tried to disengage and fly off as quick as possible. So sorry if you thought it was camping, I was just teaching some of my villainous SG mates a lesson in the power of Arctus.

Seriously, it's a great place to "take it outside". I've seen a few fights end badly in Warburg or Siren's Call because of outside interference, and the Arena really helps to end it once and for all. And you can have your own rules/agreements for arena matches, like letting Masterminds setup. I'm always up for an Arena match if you're up for it, it's only... 1 minute away to get to Galaxy?

.... and the Dev's should really fix that whole in the villain base (by hole I mean the blind spot where someone with TP Foe can gank villains). Of course there are holes on the Hero side as well (right above the hero zone for example lol)

Hate to say it. (lol) but I agree with Arctus here. If the adversary was controlled by the computer we'd call this "kill stealing", so why is it different when it is PvP?
Basically it comes to a question of ethics. The only time I jumped in on a battle (away from the main battle) was when the hero was being double teamed. If I see a hero and a villain going at it on the rooftop, just them two, I tend to just watch.
The type of people Arctus is talking about is the type who wants the kill, but lets others do the work for them.

There's one REALLY big reason why I one on one in Siren's Call instead of going to the arena...
I lose all my bounty if I go to the arena.
Other nice ones include the fun of performing in front of a crowd (think I've had over 20 people watch a couple of my fights), being able to broadcast the results instantly, and being able to watch other peoples' tactics against other players.
As for people interrupting them, it's annoying and I'll chew them out of they give a sign of ignoring other heroes' chat, but I get over it...right Arctus?

Very true Iltat, nothing like having a rooftop lined with about 20 or so heroes, AND villains, all watching a one on one. It's pretty cool. BTW, my response was more sarcastic than mean, but those of us who do the 1 vs. 1 challanges in the PvP zones hear that ALL the time, and then, the person who said it will see a challange match, and become addictited to doing it too(that's how I met iltat). I flew up, attacked him during a match, when he and his cohorts said something to me, I responded," You know, there's an arena for private fights!" Then I watched. Then, I participated. It;'s fun stuff. We have several spots in Siren's that make for GREAT little areas. Crank up Michael Jackson's "Beat It," tie one hand to your enemies, pull out knives, and GO!
I've had 1v1's in Warburg ... and been called out for 1v1's too. I know how much fun it is to stomp someone who's talking smack and get to lay them down right there in public .. in front of my friends and his/hers ... it's great. But the fact of the matter is .. you're in an open PvP zone, if you get a simple 1v1 match to go uninterupted .. lucky you. But, there's no since in griping about people jumping in. It is, after all, an open PvP zone. There are no rules, and there is no "Open PvP zone Ethics" .. you're just very fortunate to get a clean 1v1 when you get it .. and if you can't, then run the 1.5 city maps to get to an arena .. it's no big deal, takes 1-3 minutes.
