Good sir, I do believe that your link is dead. It's a great piece of work, and I would like to have a copy of it, but like I said, the link is dead.

Perhaps the GuildPortal site was having problems, as all the links on the Phantoms of War SG Badge Guide page are working...

You can also access that page from the PoW website homepage in the Intelligence section on the right at any time.

But since there are changes coming to it for tomorrow, you may want to wait until I've updated both versions before printing anything.

That's an impressive list. Thanks for all the time and effort to put one together.
Does anyone have any information on how to get the badges listed in the "Extra" section?

As is described, they're unimplemented.

Task Force Commander was going to be for completing the original 6 TFs, as Positron described in his recent post. They scrapped it once they made more TFs and more TF badges.

Street Crime was supposedly for getting all of the villain defeat badges, but seeing as they add more and more each issue, it's rather pointless.

Super Patriot and Hero Corps, no clue on those.

"Villain" is a badge that starts off the villain defeat badges, but doesn't use the same style as them at all. (Two swords over a golden diamond.)

Passport has been assumed to be for the "Server Transfer Trial" in the works.

Bug Hunter is supposedly just a goof badge there to award those who submit useful bug reports.

Fire Base Zulu (Hey, Stalemate, you misspelled it!) Security Detail is apparently for "logging enough time in the Shadow Shard". Never got implemented.

Trolls Task Force Member is not for any kind of "actual" task force. It is instead referring to the team of officers that currently fight the trolls in the Hollows. Right past the Atlas gate, you can see SWAT members with the title "Trolls Task Force". Anyway, same basic badge as Security Detail. Something about logging time.

Corsair (and it's partner, Spectral, which Stalemate forgot) are listed as event badges (same syntax as the Halloween ones). So more than likely we're getting an invasion of pirate ghosts this year.

Excellent resource, in both forms. And now...the last few tiny bits that fell through the cracks.

In "Extras", you've misspelled Firebase Sulu. Now, don't get me wrong, Hikaru was a wonderful navigator, but he doesn't have his own Firebase. Or a badge named after said Firebase.

In Task Forces and Accolades:
-Levels for the Statesman Star Accolade show 24-33, should be 34-43.
-Destroyer of Strength TF: Sarah Moore's. Missing an apostrophe.

Yes, your original link is now dead. Filename was changed from badges.pdf to badges_a.pdf and badges_z.pdf, so it isn't recognizing it anymore.

Oh yeah...the Praesidium GuildPortal site is pretty cool. Nice job on that. If I could e-mail pie, I would do so.

My first "turning point" in this city was during the Rularuu Invasion, and charging in with my BS/Regen Scrapper. Skyway City, at Level 10. It went...poorly.

Well, maybe not today.

It is my birthday after all, and I shouldn't even be posting this.

Thank you all for the corrections, especially Ian's which I will stea... copy and paste into the list.

I will implement them all and do appreciate your contributions.

Now, on to cake, if not pie.

I see... Well, I will either start a new thread once I get all these changes worked into both versions, or ask a mod to modify my original starter post.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks.

I've updated both versions according to the feedback received here, found an additional error I fixed up, and added the requirements to the Geas of the Kind Ones accolade, now that we know it.

Please look it over once again and let me know if anything was missed, and if we can release theses "officially" in a new thread.

Thanks for your time.

If all is good I'll start a new thread with the new links to both guides over the weekend.

Last call for error corrections, if you've found any, before posting a new thread for these.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed, especially Ian who corrected my misconceptions and allowed these lists to be more precise and therefore more useful.

In the "by Zone" version, the three respec accolades are still incorrectly listed as Accomplishments (or whichever section it was) and all three plus the trial badge share the same requirement.

Not sure what you meant here. I had modified the requirements listings for these to reflect our previous clarification already.

The 3 different accolades are awarded for choosing the respec from the TV trial 1, 2 and 3 times and Transmogrified is granted the first time the trial is completed, no?

Should I make that clearer?

The changes proposed are now done.

I had to rework the sections a bit to make it all fit now, but it could be considered final.

...well, as "final" as these things can be.

By the way, I posted a couple of days ago about "The Unbroken Spirit" and "Deathless" badges. I got these badges at the same time, presumably for working off a certain amount of debt, seeing as how I didn't die to earn Deathless. I finished a kill 30ish mission and worked of 1619 debt and bang, two badges. I personally think they are bugged (in the fact that amt need for Deathless = amt needed for the Unbroken Spirit). I have bugged it in game. So we'll see what happens. That is all.

Thank you.

I'm actually a bit surprised that it has fared as well as it has so far, to be honest.

Then again, now that it has been reviewed, corrected, reviewed some more, revamped ad nauseam.

I guess it's attracting players who, like me, don't particularly enjoy alt-tabbing to their favorite online list and have a (sick, twisted and uncontrollable) need to check off badges for each character they have.

You're welcome.

I've added the links to my signature now, so that they can be more easily found.

I'm already contemplating adding badge pictures... and perhaps hunting tips for some of them...

AAAARGH!

Found another error: Dauntless and Dark Mystic had the same location description (corrected).

But now I've lost the handy triple checkboxes in the requirements for accolades and I can't get them back...

The file has been updated and modified since I reported that last correction, yes, and is available.

BTW, I did mention in this thread that the original links no longer work, for those who missed that.

Please use the links in my signature below instead.

It is starting to dawn on me (finally, some wil say) that this list will never quite be "complete"...

I just modified the location to the Bright Star badge to reflect its new position on top of the university building in Steel Canyon.
