The New Ultimate Teleport Bind for Laggers
I dont have TP on any of my toons but I suspect this will be of major help to alot of people

Hey, nice update. I have been using a slightly modified version of your binds for a long time now. Thanks for the work you put into them.
One thing, your post above must be formatted oddly for this forum. Did you paste it in from MS Word or something? The lines of text are not wrapping properly and go way off the right hand side of my screen, and I am at 1280x1024.

He's using a code block, it doesn't word wrap like the rest of the forum does.
And very nice I never thought to include all of the teleports in the same bind before, although looking at it now, that'll work perfectly
one minor point though, vis_scale is actually the same thing as the world detail slider in the options, so if you have that set to anything other than 100%, by default, you need to adjust the value in the reset and teleport_on files.

Thanks NeoClassic!
I forgot to mention one other thing. I have button 4 (one of my thumb buttons) on my mouse bound to just "powexec_name Teleport." That way I can very quickly TP with one hand without having all the camera and window adjustments, too. But now I am so used to the lshift combo with all the adjustments that I don't think I could live without it.

Just tried this out, and I love zipping around now. I'll have to try it near Atlas, where when I normally start porting in I get lagged to heck. Love it!
Whenever I try loading this macro, I keep getting this odd ugly error spam in global repeating the contents of the various binds more or less. Except it truncates (at $$window_hide_tray$$b).
Consequently, it doesn't really work for me, so how do I fix this problem .

I'm not sure rei. I'm actually writing a program along with Frost that allows you to customize my bind and when I use the binds created by the program, the same thing happens. I PMed Cuppa to see if she can refer me to someone who can help. I'll keep you guys updated. In the mean time, you'll have to take out a few options I guess. Sorry.
Ok, I don't know what happened between yesterday and a few days ago, but somehow, the game doesn't like the length of these binds now. *Sigh* I'll have to figure something out... In the mean time. ***DO NOT USE THEM***
This bind in program form can now be found here.
I really never make these types of binds with making files and I just made Warshade so here is a stupid question. How do you make a new file.

I think you'd be better off going here:

the only complaint i have is that when ever i use the left click, it toggles on teleport, and because im an ill troller, i click on the screen alot...anyway to fix this?
{EDIT} my auto hasten keeps comin undone too...
This is the first I've heard of this problem. What method did you use to create the bind?
This is a new and improved version of my teleport bind that now has a reset, brings up the targeting reticle before each port, and doesn't conflict with hover. The old bind can be found here , but I'm probably going to have Cuppa delete it. Anyway, here goes:
<ul type="square">[*]Make 4 different text files (reset, teleport_on1, teleport_on2.txt, teleport_off) and put them in the same directory[*]Copy the files the way I have them and then adjust them to your liking[*]Enter the following into your chat window: /bind_load_file <directory where files are found>/reset.txt[*]Press Ctrl+t and you're all set
To set it up for shifting/holding down a button use the following:
reset.txt
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre>ctrl+t "vis_scale 1.0$$shadowvol 0$$ss 0$$camdist 12$$window_show health$$window_show chat$$window_show target$$window_show tray$$tell $name, <bgcolor black><color blue>Loaded Dr. Letharga's teleport bind$$bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\teleport\teleport_off.txt"</pre><hr />
teleport_off.txt
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre>lshift "+ $$powexec_name teleport$$powexec_name shadow step$$powexec_name black dwarf step$$powexec_name white dwarf step$$vis_scale 0.5$$shadowvol 2$$ss 2$$camdist 30$$window_hide health$$window_hide map$$window_hide chat$$window_hide target$$window_hide tray$$bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\teleport\teleport_on1.txt"
shift+lbutton nop</pre><hr />
teleport_on1.txt
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre>lshift "- $$powexec_unqueue$$vis_scale 1.0$$shadowvol 0$$ss 0$$camdist 12$$window_show health$$window_show map$$window_show chat$$window_show target$$window_show tray$$bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\teleport\teleport_off.txt"
shift+lbutton "+ $$bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\teleport\teleport_on2.txt"</pre><hr />
teleport_on2.txt
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre>shift+lbutton "- $$powexec_name teleport$$powexec_name shadow step$$powexec_name black dwarf step$$powexec_name white dwarf step$$bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\teleport\teleport_on1.txt"</pre><hr />
To set up button4 on your mouse as a toggle for example, do the following:
reset.txt
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre>ctrl+t "vis_scale 1.0$$shadowvol 0$$ss 0$$camdist 12$$window_show health$$window_show chat$$window_show target$$window_show tray$$tell $name, <bgcolor black><color blue>Loaded Dr. Letharga's teleport bind$$bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\teleport\teleport_off.txt"</pre><hr />
teleport_off.txt
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre>lshift "+ $$powexec_name teleport$$powexec_name shadow step$$powexec_name black dwarf step$$powexec_name white dwarf step$$vis_scale 0.5$$shadowvol 2$$ss 2$$camdist 30$$window_hide health$$window_hide map$$window_hide chat$$window_hide target$$window_hide tray$$bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\teleport\teleport_on1.txt"
shift+lbutton nop</pre><hr />
teleport_on1.txt
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre>button4 "powexec_abort$$vis_scale 1.0$$shadowvol 0$$ss 0$$camdist 12$$window_show health$$window_show map$$window_show chat$$window_show target$$window_show tray$$bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\teleport\teleport_off.txt"
lbutton "+ $$bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\teleport\teleport_on2.txt"</pre><hr />
teleport_on2.txt
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre>lbutton "- $$powexec_name teleport$$powexec_name shadow step$$powexec_name black dwarf step$$powexec_name white dwarf step$$bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\teleport\teleport_on1.txt"</pre><hr />
What this essentially does is if you hold down the left shift button or toggle a button based on what type you use:
<ul type="square">[*]the camera pans out 30ft behind you[*]shadows are turned off[*]draw distance is reduced[*]map, health, chat, target, and power tray windows are hidden[*]wherever you click with the left mouse button, you teleport
Letting go of shift sets everything back to normal when the bind is working correctly. At some point while usng this bind, things might get messed up and all your windows will be hidden, your camera is panned out, etc etc. Just press Ctrl+t again and everything will be fine.
For those that are curious, these command descriptions are taken directly from the game:
<ul type="square">[*]vis_scale Controls draw distance 1.0 = default[*]shadowvol Controls whether or not shadow volumes are drawn[*]ss Controls whether or not simple shadows are drawn
Also, yes, this bind will work with kheldians and all their various forms that use teleport.
