Strengths: Super strength and speed, rapid healing, eventually some light mental powers
Weaknesses: Has not been here long so lacks hard experience. There's only so much you can be told; true mastery of anything comes with doing it. Also gets frustrated with humanity at times, and ponders why he has been placed in such a position as a protector of it.
Personality: JaBrawn is basically agreeable though with a rather acidic sense of humor at times. He tends to not waste words, and has yet to really appreciate working well with others. The only other hero with whom he spends any real time teaming up is his friend Alloy, who can be even more abrasive than he can - though somehow she makes it cute.

Origin of Kara and Helgi: The Lost Lay of Kara
Helgi Was protected by his wife Kara the Valkyrie. She would fly over him in battle, granting him luck and the victory. One day while fighting Hromund he swings his sword to high and cut off Karas foot killing her. With Kara dead Helgis luck has run out and Hromund cuts of his head. Odinn sends the Valkyries to collect Kara and Helgi and bring them back to Valhalla.
Freyja is not at all happy that Helgi has gotten Kara killed again. Freyja is allowed to choose half of the warrior slain in battle, and as custom dictates is allowed first choice. She chooses Kara, since this is in fact the third time Helgi has gotten her killed. Odinn is greatly annoyed at the loss another Valkyrie to Freyja, but he must follow the rules. Kara did if fact fall on the battlefield so Freyja is allowed to choose her. Odinn in turn takes Helgi. Kara goes to Folkvang to live with Freyja and the other Valkyries while Helgi stays in Valhalla to train for Ragnarok. In Folkvang Kara gives birth to twin girls Kegan and Isabeau Izzy.
Kegans Story:
Time moves slower in Folkvang so by the time Kegan and Izzy are 16 a great deal of time has passed on earth. The great warriors and their sons left Valhalla and Folkvang to fight in the Rikti Wars (Ragnarok). At this time all of the remaining Valkyries and their children travel to the northern part of Scandinavia and settle in a village they call New Folkvang.
Thing are different in New Folkvang. They no longer follow Odin as the time for the old Gods has passed. Now on earth, they are no longer immortal. This means they have to be more careful. After years of watching over warriors on the battlefield they have picked up a few things. The Valkyries start to train their children in the art of combat. Children are thought varies techniques including marshal arts, archery, and swordsmanship. They also study literature, history and religion. One day after lessons Kegan and Izzy go down to the lake to cool off. Members of the Circle of Thorns attack the girls. Izzy is captured by them and taken away. On her 18th birthday Kegan leaves New Folkvang and heads for Paragon city in search of her sister.

Descendent of a great warrior, Kegan has come to Paragon in search of her sister Isabeau, who was kidnapped from their village 2 years ago. She has heard that she has been sighted in Paragon fighting crime. Kegan often visits Gemini Park in galaxy city, because it reminds her of home. (It's also a great place to cool off after a long day fighting crime.) She secretly hopes she might find Isabeau her one day.
Kegan came into money early in Paragon. This has allowed her to spend much of her free time studying the history of the city and uncovering it's secretes. An explore by nature she spends much of her free time running around the city visiting the statures and of the great heroes. It was while on one of these explorations that she meet Servant 12 and came to join the "Millennium Paladins".

While in their custody they perform a spell on her. Mutating her genes with those of a jaguar. She gains extraordinary powers from the experiment and is able to escape as a result. Breaking out of her cell she makes her way out of the caves and out into the city. Here she instinctively starts fighting crime and searching for answer. She has no clear memory of her life before her escape and no knowledge of her sister Kegan. Though she does feel a connection to someone or something she cant quite put her finger on it.

Daughter of Kara the Valkyrie, Isabeau (Izzy) has not come to Paragon of her own freewill. She was in fact kidnapped by the Circle of Thorns 2 Years ago. The Circle of thorns performed experiments on her. By combining her genes with those of a jaguar named Jade, she has gained increased speed and reflexes, along with spots and a tail. But she has lost all of her memories. Having escaped from her captors, she wonders the streets in search of something or someone. She has no Idea that her sister Kegan has come in search of her. She avoids the woods in Perze but doesnt know why.

Weaknesses: Physically frail, prone to panic attacks in the face of great danger, poor education; empathic powers make him vulnerable to confusion, dizziness, and nausea in combat situations.
Personality: As stated, Gjallar is mostly upbeat and kind-hearted. He truly believes in the ability of Paragon City's heroes to fight back the tide of evil and make the city a safe place once again. He is very young and idealistic, an outlook which often leads to bouts of depression or panic when he is confronted with the darker side of a hero's career. He is a consummate hero fanboy; even before moving to Paragon City from Germany, he boasted one of the more impressive collections of Freedom Phalanx merchandise.

Weaknesses: If his sense of pain is numbed, he becomes unable to effectively use his defensive powers. His defenses work best against small areas, the larger the impact area, the less able he is to defend himself against it.
Personality: Tsora'kai is driven by a desire for vengeance, although he rarely lets it show. He's generally lighthearted, and something of a jokester, although he takes every fight he's in seriously.

Strengths: Her mutant ability to absorb almost any kind of direct energy transfer gives her near invulnerability. She can redirect this energy to enhance her strength, and manipulate it in a large variety of ways. Most commonly in her fists, but also in the soles of her feet to launch herself long distances. She has extensive experience fighting conventional and hi-tech enemies and a degree of dogged determination. She also has a strong sense of duty towards her teammates and taking shots for them.
Weaknesses: Her abilities grant her virtually no telepathic resistances or defenses, so she is fully vulnerable there. She also has a fear and distaste for magical and unconventional enemies, such as the Circle of Thorns and the Rularuu. The idea of her powers being ineffective because of a particular rune, or incantation shakes her to the bone, and she makes a point of leaving such foes to more appropriate heroes.
Personality: Carla is a really dedicated heroine. Her father was a hero, and she wants to stand up for the same things that he did, and truly hopes to make a difference both for the people she's saving and people she's fighting. She also hopes to project a positive image of mutants to a society which is still unsure of how to accept them. While being heroic, she's straightforward, serious, and often takes the initiative as leader.
Carla is from some unheard-of town just far enough and just close enough to Paragon City to make it both distant and desirable to one day visit. Small, and farm-based, the town didn't really give Carla much to look forward to, and she dreamed of going to Paragon City to do something interesting with her life. Her mutation came to fruition the night of the Rikti Invasion, and that day changed her forever. She arrived in Paragon City to answer Statesman's call for heroes, and it's generally unknown what happened to her between the eve of the Rikti Invasion and when she suddenly appeared in Paragon City. When not playing hero, Carla is a much more lighthearted and carefree person. All semblance of normality for her was lost during the Rikti War, she lives to make the most of what she has.

Personality: Coolant System tries to maintain a cold outward appearance to match his powers. He is very protective of others and does everything in his power to preserve human life (good or bad). He will put himself in extreme danger to protect a teammate as atonement for his past mistakes. A good ally to have but mostly a drag at parties... except for the cold beverage trick.
