  1. Your gonna wanna swap out jab for punch. Also i dont recomend you get mu, get soul if you want though, outside farming mu just isnt all that great.

    But here, i took a crack at it. From my experience having to have CJ on to get soft capped it actually a *****. But i dont know if you have ninja run or anything.

  2. Mids is wrong, as is the power description for FE.

    What it ACTUALLY does is it adds about 45% more dmg to all of your attacks as fire dmg. And this works off of your final dmg not just your base dmg, so it can add over 100 dmg to an attack, easily.

    Making it one of the best powers in the game

    That character was an elec/fire/fire brute, by the way. Admittedly not a fire scrapper, but if he's proud of taking 6 minutes to clear a fire ambush, I feel it's safe to assume none of his times are going to be competitive on any alt.

  7. 1) Can’t help you with DB, never got one into high lvls

    2) Def, def and more def. Make sure you get your auto powers too. You will be kind of squishy until SOs, but from then on until IOs 1 small purple will make you epic. Fighting helps a lot too.

    3) You don’t need hasten, and having your mez protection on auto instead annoys some people. But i try to get it on all of my toons

    4) Yes, i haven’t gotten a travel power on a toon in forever.

    5) Either spirit or cardiac, those are the only 2 viable Aslot paths for a brute IMO.
  8. Hmm good point, /fire is a bit squishy before you soft cap s/l. But one you get there you’re gonna kill anything before it can even touch you. :P
    I guess I’d go with SS/elec/pyre then. I mean /WP is great and all in the really early lvls but it just offers NOTHING for offence and is only really average in terms of pre-IO survivability.
    You could try */SD/pyre, i personally like claws/SD but just like /fire i think /SD needs IOs before it good.

  13. I only make toons on guardian, i want to be in my SGs, and i refuse to buy slots of characters. So i find myself deleting plenty of alts, so far the rule has been anything that isnt 50. And there is one toon i dont play on lvling, the 1st one i ever actually played (like frostfire, 1st AV etc.), that is sitting at 35 that i have kept. Right now though i am definitely waiting for the next free server xfers.

    The most efficient way to use the tickets depends on who you talk to, however bronze 10-14, 15-20, and 25-29 are all rolls I use. Some people like silvers as well, just NEVER do gold. EVER.
  16. I'd like to mentions that I found /dark to be A LOT easier to lvl up combared to traps as you get all of your big powers right ayway (1, 2, 4). Where as you dont seeker drones until 28. Just something to mention if you suck at lvling up toons like i do.

  18. Teaming i like a sonic on my def based toon or a cold on my res toons or squishies even .
    Dark is my favorite to play, even though i would rather team with sonic, cold, rad, FFs...you get the idea.

    Ah, i may have not been clear the macro's for combing are put into attacks and the macro for using them is separate, attaching that to an attack is not recommended. Also, say you have 6 small purples and 3 small blues, one click will combine all of these into reds. So there is no need to spam your attacks at all, as you go about your attack chain they simply get combined.

    Stragglers, other than a large mob of them, are not to be attacked. This is a waste of time are you should hopefully be at or near the ticket cap before it’s an issue.

    You still combine insp using the forward button, which can un-center you and cause burn (at to a lesser extent FS) to not be at the target cap unless you only press it when you are rooted. But if that’s what you want, ok.

    And you still haven’t addressed that you don't want to combine insp outside of AE, unbinding every time you go use your alt build and rebinding when you change back is just a *****.
  22. I personally recommend using macro's "attached" to an attack rather than movement binds for a couple of reasons.
    1. I recommend a macro because in a normal TF setting purples, oranges, blues etc. are still very useful.
    2. And i recommend using them as an attack because in an ambush farm you won’t even be moving at all, unless you suck at farming somehow. :P

    Yes its a set mule, (he is using a version of something i gave him) FS, burn, fences, and ball gives you a full AoE chain.


    Yes, get spirit core paragon more rech is good. If you have trouble with end use a blue every now and then. On my build, i dont use consume or blues and my end is fine. But i have 5 purple sets in it.
