I dont know that it has a style name yet. mostly see stuff like it on CN of course I have been wrong many times before. as far as finding a guide maybe one of the cartoonists has a blog.

other than being really hard to see its a very nice pic. I am sure some of the artist types can give you a tip or two on that though.
