Paragon will always be home but there is a whole world in need of Heroes.

Too far behind to catch up. Too tired to figure puzzles out. I was gonna take a shot at the number thread but you ran out of numbers before I wandered in.

<sigh> Working close to 70 hours these last two weeks. I haven't had energy to check the boards or do anything else with my life. Grats to the winner that is quite the prize.

Whats the creature on top of her cleavage...head, I meant head? Very nice picture. I like the little wisps of hair that stick out. Did you use a live reference or just the character pics? To me she looks a lot like Sara Underwood, on attack of the show.
-
What's she sitting on? Some building sculpture or just rocks? Could be a stone tank?

Well I think there are at least 2 generations of the art forum. The time before me and the wonderful time after I arrived. Now you might do your math and time keeping a little bit differently than I do. So maybe you could break up your art that way.

I was referring to the first ward and night ward.

This is really swell. You can tell it was a challenge and you really pulled it off. Good show.
It makes me sad that I will probably not be able to finish those arcs. I think those two zones have a lot of depth but I totally outleveled them before I could finish all the stories. I'd have to go back and do them as Oro.
You should feel really great about this piece. -
the lincoln guy has the same hair as a friend of mine. It really is that spikey.
I think you've got a fair bit of talent. If it bothers you that the costumes don't match orhe powers then do what the characters are supposed to be. I have always been of the opinion that in the game world you create a character that is as close a match to what you see not a wholly new character. You do the best with your given medium. Like in this piece you've decided to leave out some details because they don't look right in marker. The same is true of COH. You leave out the braided leather belt and add a red wolf head the chest even though your character is the red coyote. Draw what you believe not what another medium limits you too. -
I like this pic. Though I feel like she just threw the otter in the upper right. Still Otter Blast sounds like an awesome set, or at least very cute.

I don't know that I will be able to get back to my old computer before the end and pull up my earliest screenshot. For a very long time I was stuck with that problem in win7 where I would have to exit the game every time I took a screenshot to save it in paint of some such. It was a real pain so for a couple years I gave up on taking screenshots. I have recently rediscovered the art and am working to catalog and store all my characters and scenes from the game that I can. I just hope "print screen" can handle the beating.

Just use a QR code. That directs to the petition or the forum. No tearoffs required. You can find those code builders on the net easy enough. I made one for a Facebook page once. Don't limit yourself to comic book stores any gaming store, tabletop, RP etc. should be fine. Heck if you can get it posted in a subway sandwich shop that's something.

Dust, I've never been one to post my own thread, you inspired what was written below. It is in character, though not a specific character.
Our City is lost, but there is a whole big world out there. And they need Heroes too. Take everything you've learned here, everything you've loved, take it to them. Show them what this City has wrought in you. Make them Heroes, make the whole world full of Heroes.

Someone pointed out to me that Grimfox is a rather common name on steam. I've edited my profile to make it pretty obvious which one is the real veteran of COH. Also, I've been using DA to look at all your unpostable arts for a really long time...so here is also my DA account...it's kinda mostly blank.

I might change that. I have some stories...no promises but I might post those. For now friend me, like me...I dunno what DA does, tip your hat? I might post all my screenies from the past few days, all my characters are going to be mine forever, and substantial chunks of the CC, cause those are stuck in there...eh. -
I remember that. I drooled a little. First time I ever went into scrapper-lock before the fight started. I don't remember a lot about the fight except that I started it.

This was not a good happy birthday present. CoH got me through high school. And the art forum got me though college. I fear to think where or what I would have been had it not been for all of you.
I've wandered, I've strayed but COH was always home, my base. I will miss it all very deeply. I hope they keep the forums up afterward. So that we might make connections in new worlds. I will probably cast off and sail the sea searching forever for a community like this.
I for sure will pick up GW2 and make a stay there, perhaps for a long time. I am GrimFox on steam and elsewhere on the internet.
Sadly and forever,

As far as creating costumes in game. I think the best thing to do is create a character of your own then give them a cosplay option. My Little Sister character has had a few over the years. I've been complimented on the Yoruichi costume I did. You can see it in my sig.
It's not perfect. Basically what I did was look at each part of the costume then slide through every option to find the best match. I mean every last single option. I think at the last meet and greet they said there was a number of costume options on the exa- scale. So the odds that you can make a decent tribute are pretty good.
I would grab a bunch of images of your favorite character and if you can find alternate costumes get those too. Then start with the CC and perhaps you can do a great rendition of one but not another. At the end of the day you know what is important and what you were trying to go for. You can always go to the costume help thread and see if someone else can find you a couple pieces in the CC that will help you complete and sell the look. -
It's quiet.

Thinking about this a little more...its a lot like dating.

Sounds about right. Much more comical when you write it.
