Hey guys,
Quick question regarding IO sets and stealth. I was looking to obtain PVE invis for convenience in running missions. Conventionally, people recommend taking Super Speed and Stealth skills from pools, granting the equivalent of invisibility.
Would it also work to take super speed alone but put a Celerity +Stealth IO enhancement in super speed to achieve the same thing?

Hey everyone,
I actually am a defender, but I selected psy elite pool so that I can have a few controller-like skills. One of these is dominate, the mag 3 hold skill (single target).
I chose to slot it with Lockdown set, specifically including the 'chance for mag 2 hold' enhancement.
My question is whether this enhancement makes the dominate skill occsaionally able to hold a boss (if it procs). In other words, on a successful proc, does the skill get a mag 3 + mag 2 = mag 5 effect? Thanks! -
Looking at the huntsman guide on the FAQ's prompts me to ask the question: how is a huntsman really different from a crab except they dont have the +resist toggle and use the gun ranged attack instead of the spider arm ranged attack? What is the benefit of trying a huntsman build rahter than just going crab?

Does the bane skill cloaking device (or placate) work on ranged attacks too from the machine gun or only melee?

Hello All,
I was curious about slotting pet skills as a pet-oriented crab. If you slot expedient reinforcement for all three pet skills (spiderlings, summon reinforcement, and the patron pet) and include the resist buff in each skill... do the resist buffs all stack?
i.e., if I have all three pets out, do all pets get a cumulative 30% resistance? -
Whats the best way to utilize Venom Grenade in your combos as a bane since you have to try and stealth or placate to get your criticals? Do you venom grenade, build up, then placate, then crowd control in the center of a spawn? Does placating one mob give you the crit on ALL the mobs?

I just dinged my first lvl 50 in this game and now I am trying out the Elite AT's. I just read the guides on this page, but I find I still have a general question...
What is the inherent point of playing a Bane over a Night Widow? It seems the Bane is most effective when played as a melee 'blapper,' so if you are going for high damage melee toon with stealth and some ranged attacks, doesn't the Night Widow do a better job of that? I feel like I am missing something here.
Perhaps some of the more experienced players can explain the strengths of the Bane and why one might choose that over playing a Night Widow.

I had one follow-up question...
Say you have a group of three mobs standing VERY close together (like on a solo mission where minions will cluster together in spawns of three). If you smoke all three but do a light damage hit on one... will only that one aggro?
I can see how smoke will help pulling by preventing you from aggroing adjacent groups.

Hi guys,
I find smoke a strange power. One of the guides rather interestingly described it as a reverse stealth skill.
My question is whether smoke offers you any protection from aggro from groups of mobs.
For instance, if I cast smoke on a group and then flashfire, are all of them going to make a bee-line straight for me after the stun wears off, or do some stay blinded and stationary from the smoke effect?
Does the stealth effect basically vansih after you hit them with a ranged attack?

Is there any icon or indicator you can see to tell you that you are in bodyguard mode?
