  1. New Forum system not support it? Kinda lame not having it.
  2. [ QUOTE ]

Technically, don't all issues come between other issues?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well not the first one! And someday not the last.
  3. Yes yes ... FINE!

But when will we be able to talk to fish?
  4. Ok I've been around low these many years, so I sorta know what I'm doing.

    Tanks Played to 50
    Fire/Ice
Stone/Fire (One I've had a lot of fun with.)
    Srappers Played to 50
    Dark/regen
    DB/WP
    Spines/Fire
    Brutes: Played to mid 30's
    SS/Elec
    Stone/Invul

So My first thought was a Shield/WM Never played either of them before (not past 12 anyway) But I started looking at the forums and reading all the love for SS/INV, and was thinking maybe Shield/SS???? Or maybe even just rolling a SS/InV Didn't really love either of those brutes, but the massive SS/INV love cant all be madness can it? Maybe those were just bad combos?
  5. Stone/Fire

Stone: You will be able to get up and go to the bathroom while fighting Lord recluse... Nuff Said.

Fire: Solid AOE for getting and holding aggro, Damage. So much damage you'll get the question: "You're a tank?"
  6. Ill/Rad and I'll tell you why:

    1. Great in teams, great Solo.

    2. (and this is huge) is fun and powerful from level 1-50, Some builds (Fire/Kin) are almost unplayable untill you reach a certain level, others become less impressive at high levels. Ill/rad starts strong and stays strong.

    3. Minimal downtime, Rad gives you a recovery boost and a self heal.

    4. Awsome synergies. two sets compliment each other nicely, Rad debuffs backing up your unehanceable phantom army.

5, A tool for every situation. A wide variety of control/buff and debuff options. rewards for strategic use of power options.
  7. Anyone know where I can find the new Reward Roll Tables?
  8. Ok I totally missed whatever patch made siphon life a real power. I concede it is indeed a kick [censored] power and has noticeable improved DPS. That did not used to be the case. For that Props and thanks.

Still totally disagree in picking powers just to hang IO's on them, Short slotting primary chain attacks to do it, and genrally skipping QoL powers and procs (stealth Proc, Recall friend)
  9. I've never had trouble soloing anything on invinc. Master of the Statesman TF. Have you ever considered checking your ego?

Although as aI said, if I missed a change to Siphon to make it practical, I'm not above squeezing out more DPS per second.
  10. Umbral

I did look at your baseline build, The set bonuses aren't enough to justify what you give up IMHO. Your mileage may vary.

I will take another look at siphon life if Damage has been improved, but my base philosophy is "That which does not kill me does not kill me." genrally speaking any fight I can survive for the first 8-10 seconds Will never kill me. Between sets, procs, and powers my regen is just too high. Adding an extra little bit of healing on a hit is overkill. That (almost) makes the fighting pool worth it, but I cant think of 2-3 powers I'd be willing to drop to get it
  11. I've been playing my Dark regen as my Primary for about 4 years now. My two main observations are you have too many attacks and that You're not considering Hammis, For many of your powers Hammis are the best option.

    My Attack chain:
Smite, Shadow Maul, Smite, Midnight grasp, Laser eyes, rinse repeat. If i'm willing to wait a fraction of a second I dont even need the laser eyes anymore.

Siphon life? Never needed it. Ditto the fighting pool.

    I'd slot fast healing.

The only thing I fear is end drain( and -recharge/slow in PvP). Stamina and Quick recovery are 3 slotted + each has the performance shifter end proc.

Touch of Fear? Drop Glimpse, thats lame. Again, Slot with Hammis the super inexpensive Lysome exposures! 3 lysome exposures, 2 IO recharges, and an IO fear make Touch of fear a devestating power. Maybe 2 lysomes and an endoplasm....

As for intergration. you get much better results with 3 Golgi Hammis.

Ditto MoG 3 Membrance expossures, + 1 more to hang a LoTG recharge proc.

    Superspeed is a waste.

Drop a stealth into Super jump. Also I like the winter event -slow proc.
  12. Let me join the bandwagon for looking for Feedback. 71433. I think it tells a pretty good story.

    3 missions. 2 Eb's but easily soloable.
  13. So Just posted my first Arc. Was hoping for some detailed feedback. Suggestions for improvements warmly welcomed
  14. Ok take this in the best possible light, no true harshness intended...but:

If I can't have a day job as a reporter and/or Newspaper photographer, thats just just EPIC PHAILURE right there. I mean seriously, come on, thats just like not launching with capes!

On Villains side you already have the WSPDR building for it.

Also sadly lacking are the options for Billionaire/induralist/playboy probably the single most common day in all comics.

Also: Ruler of my own tiny European/African/Asian/Island/undersea nation? In the comics they're as common as telemarketers.

Instead we get Mortician? Name me a comic book hero/villain who was a mortician? Shopkeeper?

Have some respect for your source material! :-)

Certain self heal powers are tagged to not allow outside healing buffs. Reconstruction is such a power

The user documentation for this I imagine is on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of the Leopard'?

Seriously, I don't mind arbitrary and obnoxious rule sets, I don't. But it would be handy to know what they are.

Now that you've broken away from Cryptic, have you considered hiring someone to write user documentation?

  16. Ok first off skimming through I didn't notice anyone mentioning the IOP effects on doms. Mez protection Items of Power?

I have 1 40 Ice/Ice dom, and in PvE I feel I didn't need a buff. Drop my ice slick, throw out a few single target holds, drop a glacier... I can barely solo on villianous, but in a team I more than carry my own weight. I can't deal damage worth a spit, but I don't see that as my job.

I don't see the recharge rate effecting me much at all in PvE. the recharge was never my limiting factor. I don't have the endurance to fill the bar in less than 5 minutes. Not a big deal.

In PvP I'm totally useless. My friends all play it, I try and join them... Utterly useless. The hit buff in PvP supposes I'll live long enough to land 11-13 hits in PvP. Doesn't happen all that often. I'm far to soft a target. Tried playing in RV, wasn't even humorous. Exercise in masachacism.

The toggle drop issue doesn't come up much.. Generally if I'm meleeing something with toggles I'm dead in 6 or 7 seconds... Don't live to notice if I've dropped toggles.

Truth is that the tankers and scrappers I fight in Sirens Mez me all the time, I cannot mez them.

On the off chance I do catch the stray enemy squishie in a hold, I usually run of endurance before they run out of hit points. Need to pop blues to kill a held "victim"

So I will repeat what I've seen 20 pages of here... Its a step in the right direction, but not nearly a big enough step.

    Bonus damage in PvP?
    Mez Resistance in PvP?
