With the closing of the regular season, the PvPEC would like to take the time to thank everyone that has participated and made the first season of The League a success. We designed an experimental league format in hopes of drawing in new players as well as giving the current community an outlet for competition. Admittedly, there were some flaws in our system and we did hit some snags along the way, but overall I consider The League to be a success and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I have.
A special thanks goes out to all of the captains. Without you none of this would have been possible. Your hard work has made a big impact on a lot of players and we commend you for that. Additional commendations go to Eternal PAIN. Thank you all for stepping up and sticking it out this season despite every odd being against you. It took a lot of heart and we appreciate it greatly.
Our only hope now is that with this foundation of new and old players, the PvP community will stay alive and continue on to bigger and more glorious things.

Next week, on your regular season days and time, every team will face off against each other in a single round, round robin format. This means you will play every other team once. The difference between a regular season round and a playoff round will be
DOUBLE POINTS. Your opponent order will be the same as weeks 1-5, with one team having a bye each round. Rounds will follow the same rules as regular season except all map selection will be set to RANDOM. Points gained during playoff week will be added to your regular season score. The team with the highest score after playoff week will be crowned champions of The League!
Bring your A game everyone. Playoff week is where you can take it all!
