Hello everyone, i been really trying to get into pvp, since my tanker and brute were destroyed in 1 vs 1 cage match that another story.
ok since then i made an fire/em blaster(27), em/wp stalker(23) and a scrapper dm/regin (1)
I go to siren call with them (well the two of them anyway) to try and learn pvp better,well it seems like the only thing i'm learning is how to die.
So i,m thinking maybe i should just hold off on them til i get them 50 and can place some pvp type builds in them.
This bring me up to my question,since i'm not using my 50's brutes or tanker
this leaves me with my fire/kin troller whom i dont want to use cuz he my farmer and i haven't heard anything good about them in pvp.
Well anyway this leave me with my sonic/rad corr whom great on teams,but dont know how well he fares here .and i have him build with teams in mind,so my question is
1) how will he do in pvp? is there a reason why i dont see a lot in pvp?
2)what do i need to do to change him from team build to an pvp build
I'M having more fun in zones then in the area if that helps. money not much of a problem

Hi,all im on my third vet respec with this toon.The forum here has been very helpful.As i'm playing him i feel this and that can be improved so i when back to the mids and drew up this build,(well i took alot of the idea from here). I want to use the toon for farming and team play.Trying not to build with alot of purples enhanments but, still be an helpful on farms and teams.now with that in mind her some question i have I put damges in fc and fissure am i better off with just stuns and does the damage benfit more? also my pets i have call to arms in them now but was thinking of adding soulbound instead. well i take any advise that might help and thanks | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build |

A blaster build will normally have 4 glad jav procs(1 for each attack) and then 4 acc/dam glad jav's or 4 acc/dam/end/rech for a set of 2 in each ranged attack soooo hate to tell you that a good PvP build will cost you a bit of inf. And I don't know who told you dark/sr, I am pretty much sure I would never waste the time to make a /sr scrapper. Prior to the elusivity nerf they were pretty good, now though....eh.....

thanks psyrene for helping me see that i will need more +hp recharge and all,but all those purple might set me back to much for my first build in pvp,kinda of thinking of rolling another toon to get the hang of thing that wont set me back so much.Ithink i'm going to go look at an blaster or scapper i heard an dark/sr scapper might work for an first toon not sure what to look foran blaster.will start looking over the pvp forum.

That's why it's opinions, and not facts.
And if you think the rewards are too small? Well, that's your right.
But consider this: People will pay three billion without blinking for an extra three percent defense versus all.In my opinion, the bonus from manuevers is not small.

WOW,Tactics and vengeance i do see where they can be some what helpful to an team,but to add two or three more toggles to an already heavy toggle running brute is a recipt for disaster IMO. Now maybe on an brute thats doesn't have end problem this could work.i just think the rewards are 2 small to consider this a must have power set -

- High Pain Tolerance is overslotted, the extra resistance isn't doing that much for you. I would remove 2 slots and put the steadfast unique here - This nets you 3 total slots.
- I think slotting KO blow for Hold is a bit of a waste. I think you went for the typed defenses, I'd rather go for more Rech/End Rdx and ED Capped Damage.
- Indom Will could use a bit of End Rdx.
- I know why you slotted Dark Oblit like that, but it pains me to see it not slotted for any damage.
- Taunt - Requires no extra slots to function (auto-hit) pop a recharge rdx in it and your good to go.
- Hasten - remove 2 rech rdx from Rage and put them in here to 3 slot hasten. Hasten will now be up enough that you should always be able to stack rage to avoid def crashing.
- Superspeed or Super Jump - quality of life improvement, requires no slots.

It's true i19 will make us all stronger to some degree,yeah i like my ele/wp also when kinda of crazy on him when they gave us tanker epic have to go work on him a little bit. i ll be able to do that soon, making an tanker to take over there to villains side.here an queston for u or anyone really do u know how to make the adjustment for the mids to show the new inherment i seen someone with it .just dont know to get mines to do it i downloaded the new version already?

I'm also addicted to Haste and Superspeed lol
For me i19 offers my WP brutes dipping into the medicine pool for Aid Self. I have an Elec/WP and a SS/WP at 50, can't wait for the new issue. -

Powers i've been looking at are alternate travel powers that fit concept, a power like a T9 or self rez that i never took, recall friend for utility, perhaps a 1-or 2-slotted leadership power. Lots of options that can enhance playstyle and concept.

Easy when i19 releases, take Body Mastery, take Superior conditioning and Physical Perfection. You just need the default slot so don't worry, toss a Performance +End proc in each power. Now every ten seconds you get a chance to get +20 endurance added to your bar.
I believe you're an SS/WP from what you've said, if I'm right, endurance shouldn't even be an issue to begin with. Post your build please, not to be rude, but seem like it needs some help.

Either skim some from elsewhere, or pick powers that don't need extra slots.
Hasten can be good on the default slot, but it's not going to be a permanent thing. Try thinking of hasten as a "sometimes" power instead of an auto power. When you're getting hit with slows, or you have someone buffing recovery, then use it. -
First ,thanks devs for doing it,but now i'm thinking about sloting .To my knowledge with i19 were not getting any extra slots.so health and stamia still needs to be sloted.(my stamina is 4 sloted and health is 3 )well my build is without hasten, so sloting hasten is what im worryed about. Wondering if i could get away with slotting the set of performance shifter in quick recovery and adding one slot into hasten from stamina and keeping 1 endmod in stamia.Will that save me from end problems seeing i will now have to deal with the mimi crash from hasten, along with rage and SOW crashes.Just wonding if anyone else thought about this ?

I'll like to thank you t snow,i was looking to see if i forgot something out
cuz i'm running my ss/ele brute and an tanker so im changing back and
fro.I forgot i took the end proc in stamia and used it for the other
brute,going to grab one and put it back in there.I have the accolades
for max end so i'm cover there.Prolly will add m'strike in there with fs for
the added end and see if it helps. thank again (P.S, it might have just been me feeling weaker changing
from an tanker to brute and keeping that tanker mentally it prolly throw me off a little.) -
