Ok, so Sept 13 launched the vip head start. Do we have a date set yet for the official F2P launch. My kids wants to start playing CoH/oV, but I don't want to actually purchase another account for him with it going F2P. Thanks for any help.

I could definitely handle doing just that. The laptop was only 2 years old, albeit with alot of gaming, so that it needed a new hard drive so soon was what surprised me the most. Thanks for the quick response. =-)

I just took my laptop into the shop and I need a new hard drive. The tech is pretty sure they'll be able to get all the data off the old drive and on to the new one. Since I've never had a hard drive go out on me, my question is will this cause any issues with Cox? If everything transfers over ok, will I need to re-download or patch anything? That was pretty much my take. My kin on Red side never had a problem with endurance. With health I'm just not sure the extra HP/sec from adding slots will make much difference at all either.

With health and endurance being inherent in I19 is it worth it to put any extra slots in them for a /kin. I'm building a kin and with transfusion and transference I'd love to just leave the one slot in them, but I'm not certain if I can or not. Any responses welcome. Thanks.

Thanks to Robo's suggestion to call CS this issue was resolved. I spent no more than 40 mins on the phone (wait time included) and successfully have my info updated now. =-)

Cool. Thanks. I may give them a call. I hate to have my account lapse just because some Risk Management security feature flags me for trying to update my cards expiration date. The online support even tried saying they couldn't give time frames for how long the Risk Management lock would stay in place. I'll give CS a call.

How long of a hold time do you have with them?

I've been having a similar problem. I got a new card; same number new expiration date. I wanted to change the expiration date so it could bill properly in a few days for the monthly auto-renewal. I got a transaction error that billing is calling risk mangement security. I didn't have this problem in 2009 when I had to update my card on file. So, it must be something new. I've been dealing with this for 4 days now back and forth and my account is supposed to renew tomorrow. My bank however, is 5 miles from my house. So, it's not even a high risk type situation as the OP had mentioned.

If you've cleared all the targets from the room(s) where the glowie was, you might need to send and in-game petition to a GM. You'll have to wait for them to send you a tell after you file it. Sometimes targets can make their way "off map" and be stuck in a place you can't hit or sometimes can't even see them. The GM would need to re-position them on the map for you to kill and complete. Hope this helps :-)

No way I was reading through 17 pages to see if this was suggested or not. In regard to the bug with MM pets not going through elevators and such properly:

If I remember correctly if you get a certain distance away from your pets the program will reposition the pets near you. We've got so many buttons included with a MM build for follow attach and the likes. Why not include a button that calls an instance of that part of the program. A "pet teleport" if you will. So, you go through an elevator, enter the bank on a mayhem, and instead of getting yourself killed by a hot door when you enter with only a few of your pets, you simply hit your button and the pets are repositioned to your location.

We are back up and running again. Everythings seems to be running as it was before the patch. =)

Might have the server's clustered and until the status on all in that cluster are up, it reports as unkown.

Whoops. Looks like training room status is unkown again.

The training room was the funny part here. I'm assuming they tested the patch on the test server. I wonder what was different on the live servers that caused this mess. I was actually able to transfer a toon I couldn't log on to on live over to test and run it.

I still show server status as down. That means the rollback patch was issued but you still won't be able to enter until the server(s) come back up.

The finally came out and said it was a map instability problem. For those of you who watch House, I feel like one of his patients. They hunted and pecked, thought it was this, than maybe that, then finally came out and said it was this. Sometimes you just never know.

If you just tried, it may have to do with a rollback of today's patch. Expected downtime will be appx another 2 hours. Might want to try again after that and see if you've got the same problem.
