...GhostRaptor has a big thing?

Hm. I was developing the impression that such rudeness wasn't your kind of thing.... -
He isn't evil, you're just all really easy to toy with.

The truth comes out...?

Everyone knows I love Golden Girl. If you exclude random carnage, she's the only long term villainous plan I've got. -

Ok, 4 things, and you're done

And I like you too. -

Why does AR suck?
Seems fine for me.
[/ QUOTE ]
Because I think it sucks. Duh. I also don't like Parisians, the reduced amount of jam in Wagon Wheels and the illegality of randomly assaulting anyone wearing a hoodie. I can go all day listing stuff I think sucks if you want. -
It's perfect as power armour and that's how I've been using it. I just wish AR didn't suck so bad.
-
Oh no, my pretty much worthless fluff based power of novel personal amusement is bugged. I shall have to curl up and die.
Or I could continue laughing like an idiot at how absurdly awesome my huge model cyborg looks. Now that's a no brainer. -

I love that your answer has the naive, almost childlike hope that I turned into a normal, well adjusted member of society or something. -

When you come up with a name like 'Carnal Sin' but want to roll a scrapper, ya need some crazy to explain why a hero is a rampaging sexual deviant.

Well you do! You can't just walk around claiming to be a hero with a name like Carnal Sin! People will ask why! -
The biography boxes are never big enough for me to properly describe the kind of psychotic, neurotic lunatics I keep creating. And that's just the heroes.

It's good to be a hero.

Unless you're Blue Steel. -

Your opinion differs I guess, and you're entitled, but I just can't accept your PoV
[/ QUOTE ]
My opinion does not 'sanction wanton brutality'. My opinion is that the entire scenario is utterly contrived due to the fact that the Clockwork King would have been quickly killed by any police officer given the chance to do so, and Blue Steel endangered lives, more than just his own considering the nature of the threat, by not quickly and clinically putting down the Clockwork King the very second he was in any position to do so.
There should have been no angry beating, because the Clockwork King should have already been dead of a broken neck or massive cranial trauma. -

This is where the attitude problem lies

Yeah well in my world the Joker would be very, very dead. Notice how my world is better off than yours. About a four figure kill count better off. -

Super powered cops shouldn't have to kill
[/ QUOTE ]
And we shouldn't have to lock our doors or never leave children alone with strangers. Life sucks, shoot the dangerous psychos in the face instead of playing patty cake with them. -

Maybe Blue Steel isn't an animal?
[/ QUOTE ]
But he was, and now is, a police officer. And they don't play funny suckers with criminals trying to murder them. You so much as point a gun at police, let alone fire at them, you get immediately put down. And if they don't there's pointy questions asked about why you risked yours and maybe someone elses life hesitating.
His only recourse for self torment on the subject would be that he battered the King to pseudo death in a fit of rage, instead of quickly and cleanly breaking his damn neck the moment he caught up to him. If Blue Steel went around with a gun there wouldn't even be a problem, he could have quite happily gunned down the Clockwork King and be hailed a hero. For some reason, having to get more personal about it is just plain naughty. -
I don't understand the objections to Blue Steel. The situation is unrealistic in that he didn't immediately kill the Clockwork King at the earliest opportunity anyway.
The man had already murdered a police officer with his little toys, and engaged the raid team with the intention to kill. And they did, three more police died. If he had been caught up to by any member of the police force, he would have been shot dead on sight. No if, no but, dead. Blue Steel should have rammed the edge of his shield into that mans neck at his earliest possible chance, and gone to lunch with a conscience like a baby. The Clockwork King is a cold blooded murderer and used lethal force to evade justice, he's lucky the SWAT team didn't give him a decidedly more fatal 5.56mm enema. -

Edit: Speaking of which, my two most hated internet spelling mistakes are the infamous Rouge for Rogue and the possibly more prevalent Loose vs Lose mix up.

It's just simple proofreading typos in things with some degree of production value like webcomics that annoy me.
'Allright' does my head in, Greg Dean of Real Life does that so much I'm starting to think for some reason no-one on his large forums has actually told him. Scott Kurtz just loves the 'they're' to 'their' switcheroo. It's almost like no-one told him either. -

I hope the mission creator is rammed full of badges. Just to annoy the whining badge hunters.

I’d always assumed that as these heroes registered with the City Officials that they didn’t have secret ID’s in the traditional sense. However, this post seems to indicate otherwise, so here’s the Secret Identity system idea that I came up with.
[/ QUOTE ]
I looked at registration in Paragon City as more being a case of the hero registering, as opposed to the person. They don't have as strict a system as post-Civil War Marvel does, a hero registration card is heroic proof of ID and carries with it their security level.
