I too would like to voice my approval for an "always allow" option that removes prompts when checked, like teleport. It would keep everyone happy. well, everyone other then those people who want to be able to psychicly control how thier prompts react... but those people can just suck it up.

I used to have dif pw's. I tried to log in with the PW I used on the forums, and it told me it was incorrect. When clicking "forgot my PW" it gives you a message saying both PW are now the same for all accounts, games and forums. As I said, I used to have 2 PW's. They were changed to match without any action of my own. I hadn't checked to see if I could change it BACK to being different, which I will do now.

Either way, having the PW auto-sync at ALL is a terrible idea security wise.

ok, editing this in, I just went and checked. You are incorrect. I attempted to change my forum PW so it would no longer match my game PW. This is the message you get:

Just a thought, I used to have a different password for the game then my password for the forums. Now those are both the same, if we like it or not. Just a security thought- isn't that a very bad idea? If someone manages to hack into one, they have automatic access to the other. This is the very reason some places wont ALLOW you to have the same password, or (like my banks website) use your email adress as your username, ect. With all the things that can compromise a system these days, even people who are super carefull like me can sometimes get spyware. A not-as-carefull person can easily get a keylogger and lose everything.

An other unnamed MMO has an authenticator. I think that's a wonderfull idea. Seperate from your computer or you account, requiring a completely different type of hacking skills (not to mention they would have to be in your immediate area to hack it, just like your wireless) un-key-loggable... I dont see COH getting one of these any time soon (in spite of what a great idea it is) so shouldn't every other effort at security be made instead?

Had a wonderful time! The panel was fun and witty. The meet and greet was packed but everyone was so nice you didnt mind being elbow to elbow. Had a great time playing Munchkin with Ocho lol- sorry we didnt get to finish the game before you had to go! Maybe next year!

absolutely. 100%. Dont cut down the trees. PP is my fav zone, and has been from the start. It just needs more action to bring people to it. I miss the old hydra hunting teams. *sigh*

Im just saying there shouldnt be exclusive in game ANYthing that only people in certain geography can get access to. Thats not fair by any stretch.

side note, its not really fair people in cali get an in game item others wont have access to. isnt that kinda geographically biased? would be fair if you offered them at all city's cons one year.

So? they have a bunch of CC's from people stupid enough to buy from them and encourage them. I know its harsh, but those people *deserve* to get thier cc's charged. The only people who would cry are the ones who bought stuff from them. Then it would be in those peoples court to declare CC fraud and take legal action.

Make those who encourage these idiots be the ones who have to pay for the lawyers. Its not CoX fault if someone uses a cc not belonging to them. If you want to use that arguement, ANYONE could use someone elses cc, not just spammers. So what, eliminate all cc to prevent it? I dont think so.

Remember, there was some announcement a while back that i12 would include the option to CLICK ON NAMES in the chat window to bring up more options. I bet petition will be one of these options. If not, it should be easy enough to add, theyve already laid the ground work.

Well, since this '04 guide is the most recent exemplar guide, I figure its time to pull it out, dust if off, and update it.

I wanted to add to this that DROPS are effected by your exemplar level. If you take your level 50 and exemp down to level 1, you are going to get recipes at level 1. Very disappointing when you get that great rare recipe you've been wanting, and its too low for you.

On the other hand, for those who are sidekicked UP, you get recipe drops (and enhancements) based on your sidekick level. A level 1 sk'd to 50 gets a level 49 recipe drop. Talk about quick starting cash!

Personally Id be fine with a BRB that didnt "roll" when it landed if thats the only issue stoppin this. I mean come on, with 20 people kicking it around anyway, is it really gonna have time to stop, drop, and roll?
