What happens if too many of the 56 are "ringers" - aside from the approved Emp ones? The bane of my existence in League of Legends were "smurfs" - reasonably skilled players who could and should be playing at level 30 against other decent players, but who got their kicks by creating lowbies and stomping peeps.
Now I'm largely playing CoH with LoL-inspired toons instead of playing LoL because it's a million times less frustrating. While I probably needn't worry, I'm just hoping that this PvP thing doesn't wind up like that.
& phillygirl should b in tis for teh actual boot camp lessons more than teachin any1 anything.

i've had interaction w/ many of teh ppl on tis team in game
i haf teh highest respect for those ppl
i just dont see tis being that big of a deal to quit a lg over & depriving a team in rd1 of playoffs an opponent especially considering just max of 2 wks left in post-season -
ive been on bad teams, sad teams aka ur team.
i show up, i play, i get farmed, so whut.
ive been on teh other side where we play teams dat r vastly different in teh final matches than when lg started.
do i like it? no not rly but does it prevent me from showing up for something i signed up for? no.
i learned that it is not realistic to ask for fair in tis pvp.
i chose to play it teh way it is.

The team was doing fine until u decided to come back and clean house.

had an un-scorned pvp community dat tried to help ppl pvp
post, u haf all these ppl dat haf a ton of pvp io but do not pvp a lick
u haf ppl quitting a 6 wk lg knowing they cant compete & will find any excuse not to compete
& way too many posts on teh forums/broadcasts
in teh end, i just wanna see ppl just show up, fight, gg, win or lose -

Enforcing any kind of play rule or imposing penalty etc are just taking away time from the leaders of the team to help improve and teach those that care to really improve. You have to make an effort and not expect to be "pvp king" just because you joined a team. -

Some observations here:
- 3 active teams on test (1 of them is dodging another; how can this be good for test ladder?)
- Vex and Hot almost always first to post "GG" after each match I've observed where as divine would complain, moan and make excuses whether on broacast, /ac or on vent
- Is there not an /gignore command?
And for your information, my pvp experience is probably equate to 6 months or less. So yeah, your point?. -
