Quote:I'd heavily suggest to everyone who is involved with this PLEASE PLEASE get your shivans, nukes and HVA. We may even have to do a second nuke run, depending on how we handle Ghostwidow. So to save some time get at least one set of nukes now.
Apparently, the Defiant team didnt use Nukes/Shivans/Heavies. The team make up was 5 SR scraps, a Dark, a Regen and one other, i forget which.
But it would be comforting to kno that we all had a few temps to throw down in the rough patches, so please grab a nuke or 2 or at least a Shivan AND a Heavy.
Ona side note, i cant wait for us to roll out! s'Gonna be awesome fun! -
-
Wouldn't it be great if...Shield Charge Crit'd like it is SUPPOSED too.
I kno it isnt a primary power but neither are Epic pools and they Crit.
'Nuff said.
Ona side note, this should be a great thread for ppls rage. -
Quote:I would slot more Resist into High Pain Tolerance and Mind Over Body but at the max amount of resist it only adds 4% to f/c/e/ne and 3% to s/l, i figured the set bonuses and almost 150 more HP's would be better.Hey Bud. You'll want more resistance slotting (high pain tolerance and mind over body). Other than that it looks fine. You might consider taking dark obliteration over Recall Friend.
On an LRSF and Hami there are parts where you will need inspirations or support, but that's true for any brute.
20-30 defense is a good amount to have on WP. I like to stick the +3 resistance unique on WP characters also if you can afford it.
And i would work Dark Oblit in there but i have some slow ppls in my SG, so the TP is a reminder for them to hurry up.
I would like to be able to afford that IO but sadly Im not as loaded as you are redside, Kahlan. -
Just curious as to what people think.
Should i add more defense at the expense of regen or is 25%-ish to most damage types good enough? I mean I could have chosen Invulnerability or Energy but i wanted to take up the challenge of creating sick WP toon.
I know how good defense is, i personally favour it over a resist power set but having basically zero DDR (17.3% i believe) sounds to me like a nightmare, especially with the amount of defense debuffs in the game.
With the way it is now, i can see it would be a roller coster ride for the health bar but could i effectively tank a fire/cold/eng/neg eng damage dealin AV without eating too much dirt?
Also how would it fair ina Hami Raid or a LRSF?
Any and all help would be appreciated.

Quote:Anything from 9 onwards is good for me. Any compromise that can be made to better suit someone else is fine with me, infact i'd encourage it as it would make the team as big as possible.Okay, I know we're supposed to start tomorrow, but I was wondering- could we compromise? If 9EST was okay for three of us (and Stray?), but still early morning for one, and is early evening for two others... would 10EST (7PST) be okay?

Quote:Scrapper secondary damaging abilities never Crit'ed. It would make sense that they all did however, but i don't think they are going to go into doing something like that right now i think that much is a little further down the road. I would like to see them edit the scrapper LR for it to crit as well though seeing that it IS currently a primary skill power.
Aww thats a shame, but i guess we gotta take what we're given.
What i dont understand is how Epic Pools can crit and yet secondaries dont...Confuzles my lil' scrapper brain. >.> -
Quote:Indeed it is, and you might be pleased to kno that its gotten up to book 11 or 12, i forget which. With the first of a 3 part final to be released this month, on the 27th (i think). Is that from the Wheel of Time series? I put that series down after book 6 or 7 and it's been a while... Maybe I'll go back to it. Nice quote.
But sadly Robert Jordan passed away so the series wont be finished by him, will be completed by his Wife and Publisher (again, i think). -
Thx for the inspiration, New Dawn!
Ive scheduled an all scrap STF on Champ for the 16th.
So far, we have 4 DM/SD's, 3 Spines/WP's and a Fire/WP. So we arnt lacking survivability or damage.
Just outta curiosity what was your team make up?
And also did you utilise Nukes/Shivans/Heavies? -
Real scraps play AFL
(Aussie Rules)
So i'd be a full forward. -
Ok, so i see that the 9pm team has yet to decide ona name and i've noticed that there is abnormal bacon fetish goin around, s'like a desease or sumfin.
Hows about:
Team Kevin. (as in the actor, Kevin Bacon)
Team Bacon Grease Lightning.
Team Bacho (Old High German, meaning Buttock, Ham or Side of Bacon) Iz likes this one.
Team Cured Belly of a Swine Carcass.
Team Rashers.
Team Chocolate Covered Bacon.
I could go on but I'm hungry now.
EDIT:
So far, is this how our team stands?

Im glad that they're finaly goin to fix Shield Charge but...Will it Crit, like its supoosed to?
Quote:From reading that it looks like its gettin the correct damage values but it dosnt say anything about the Criticals.Scrappers

But...Will it now Crit, like its supposed to?
Or would that throw it out of "Balance"? -
Woot! Seems like we're full.
I can already here LR shakin in his boots.
The start time will be 9pm Est on the 16th. (Friday)
Dont forget to load up on Shivans/Nukes/Heavies. Its better to be safe then sorry. -
Yea, ill be there, Sara Moore is some what fun. (Compared to a DR Q anyways)
If we're in need of some tankage then ill be more then happy to tank but if not ill be ona scrap. -
-
Quote:Yea, nukes and pets will prolly keep us alive for LR.Doing some nuke and shiv runs as we speak and also buying an HVA for good measure.
As for time, I'd have to check my schedule, I know I have a double shift at work on Wednesdays and Thursday...I think Friday evening might be okay, pretty sure I have Saturday off.
So, the 16th? Sound good? -
Sweet, Welcome Slacker.
Ok, to business...When is a good time for you guys? -
Swords, Claws, Fluffly Pink Banana's with eye patches, it matters not.
All are welcome. -
lol, was wondering when i would see your name here Horus.
Glad to have you aboard. -
Ok, so i see Defiant's havin an all Scrap STF and i would LOVE to get in on that s*** but as we are Champs we cannot partake in the festivities so i thought we could do the same.
Would there be enough interest to get a full team?
I wouldnt wanna run it as Im just here to play and I dun wanna advertise my noob-ness any more then normal. Plus what scrap likes being told what to do? Not I.
With a Double XP weekend on the horizon i could see that it wouldnt happen then, so when would be a good time for all?
For me, any time after 9pm E and not ona Wednesday would be perfect.
Lemme kno if you're interested.
EDIT:
9:30pm on the 16th will be the start time. Had to push it back half an hour due to time contraints.
Remember to stock up on Nukes/Shivans/Heavies, our level of sick-ness will surely prevail but its better to be safe then sorry.

Wow! thats a lot. Even without running Invisibilty its 1.77 a sec which is still an a** load.
To me, the Concealment pool is only good for Phase and slotting 7.5's.
You can pick up a Stealth IO very cheaply and slot it into Sprint for another option and i would suggest taking SS as that has a +stealth effect to it as well, plus you'll be running past the mobs so fast that they'll barely have time to react to you. Also its another good place to slot Zephyrs for those excellent +def bonuses.
And slotting to hit debuffs in RttC isa crime, it only debuffs thier to hit by 5%-ish and thats without factoring in the mobs resists. Slotting heal IO's isa must. You'll almost be doubling the +regen effect. -
This is my current build (except for the +def PvP IO...) and i NEVER have any End dramas...ever.
When solo'n AV's drop a couple toggles that arnt needed, eg Deflection for Pylons and Tough for everything else. If your having end problems when fighting mobs then you must be doin sumfin wrong.
