No tp power currently crosses zone boundries. Thats a lot of track record to guage by.

Since other reward choices are removed, can we at least have a reward window open with 2 choices:
- merits
- choose nothing
And the merit choice can show a warning that the reward will be diminished if it's chosen at that time. That way if you complete another ITF 23 hours and 15 minutes after the one the day before you're not penalized by diminished returns.
Why have diminished returns anyway? Who cares if people run 15 ITFs in a row. They're playing the game. You're already basing the # of merits on the results of whatever datamining you've done.

and oh yes, I really want to do the same arcs over and over and over again because the devs have decided that debugging existing content is not something they want to do. They set the schedule, yet some unknown force prevents them from actually scheduling work to fix old content. -

If you take an Flashback mission that exemps you to 40, you can ToT in Founders (or even Crey's or Bricks) and be at the top level of the zone and not worry about city spawns hurting you nor someone knocking at your door and giving you spawns higher than you can handle.

and get zero xp. All because the devs chose 2 hours in the middle of an afternoon to test it. I dont expect to see any fixes for the problems this year, next year they will do the same testing scheme and create all new bugs to live with. If you are on a toon that puts out AOE debuffs or has an agro aura, you can expect to be cleaning up other peoples spawns. Oh, and controllers with pets. You know, the ones you cant put on "safe". -

The only thing that I see that has changed from Test to Live is that Trick Mobs now are set to ambush the clicker (and invisibility doesn't help take away aggro).
On Test, they saw through Stealth, but not invisibility. And they didn't chase the clicker unless the clicker stuck around to be 'seen.'
The ones on Live chase the door-clicker and are pretty persistent, so, that's good. They ignore other players unless they get aggro'd by an attack power. I was standing next to a whole bunch of +6 spawns and they pretty much ignored me while they were chasing their door-clicker. Now, when I had an ice patch out, and they walked through it, then they noticed me.

My stone kin was standing in front of a door with quicksand and earthquake running. Grabbed aggro every time. Not to mention stoney attacking every 53 spawn that runs by. I cant use half of my powers without fighting a lot of other peoples spawns. I guess I will join them in click and run. -

I'm loving everything about this event except that the new ToT timers allow griefers on Invincible to click multiple doors quickly and then tow giant crowds of 52s and 53s through everyone else trying to ToT.

I think the only APP powers I care about are the single target holds for scrappers and tankers. I could be wrong, but I don't expect those to go away. It would be nice to see brutes and stalkers get access to a decent single target ranged hold, but it would also be nice if villains didn't have to go through a story arc with a non-droppable elite boss fight to unlock their patron pools.
Currently, I don't use patron powers at all.

Before going completely over the edge on this issue, everyone, why don't we just wait for the beta to start so we can see exactly what's being changed, determine the effects of those changes and present validated, justified concerns to Castle. I'm no more excited about losing some of my favorite APP/EPP powers than anyone else, but until I actually know which powers are being removed, and what the replacements are, there's no point getting upset over it.

I don't need to wait till beta to know that outright replacement of chosen powers is bad design. I'm really hoping Castle mis-spoke, but he seemed pretty sure about his statement about logging in and finding the replacement where your chosen power was.
I can learn and adapt to a change in any of my chosen epics, but I firmly believe that altering characters in that dramatic a fashion should be avoided at all costs.
I'm not in any way against the replacement of powers in the epics/PPPs, I'm against logging in and finding the change forced on characters. Let the player keep them till they respec, that's all I'm asking of the developers.

Yes, gameplay advantage. If you play a tank, it's trivially easy to go into a large group, pop a red or two and maybe a yellow, and dole out a sweet purchased Nova to your enemies, probably defeating most of them, and making it really easy for the rest of the team to mop up. Pop a wakie, or even better, have someone with Resuscitate or Resurrect on hand, and you're good to go.

Ugh. I can't see the point in giving "Ice anything" to Stalkers, unless the Devs find a way to limit it strictly to the PvE side.
As it stands now, Stalkers in PvP are absurdly overpowered; Ice sets would just give them yet another palette of hold/slow abilities to augment their already ridiculous (and yet, recently improved!) Stealth/Hide abilities.
Stalkers in PvP are silly enough as it is.

Yea ok!! Sorry I play a Stalker in PvP and Run Several forms of Stealth and am Constantly seen by Blasters at Sniper range because of their perception... You may want to add Blasters to that "Overpowered in PvP List"
You know the Furryfiance they now have and being able to attack while Mezzed... with all their Stackable damage buffs... not overpowered in the least

Its just the name thieves warming up their whines again about how they must have that vital name. Rather than using their head for something other than a hat rack. The same lame crying. There is a policy in place to clear out old data. We have not run out of names. I made a toon tonight and got the name I wanted on my first try.Not a crisis in any way. if the devs want to change their policy, It is all their property.

Or, what I feel is much more likely, when billy needs a respec, he will spend his $10 with a rmt and have inf left over.(depending on the going rate).
