    I have no facts other than the story of what happened to me.


    run it several times and get the badges like i did.

    I got the badges and never met the requirement.

    true thats what happend. I never killed the right amont of monkeies or ninjas.

    i think it may be a counter like regular kill npcs badges.


    but the description says other wise.


    anywho that is how i did it.

    I ran it 5 times and got the badge and NOT ONE TEAM was awesome and killed the number stated in the badge.


    true story..... please dont take my badges away!

    For hybrid assault things are a little bit confusing especially for one that you posted which is double hit.     Since you wanted an example based on energy blast lets take its tier 1 attack power bolt from blaster. It has 4s recharge time and if you put +5 apocalypse set in it its recharge time reduces to 1.93 second (global %10 counted in) and double hits damage becomes 28.64 (for 4 second recharge time it was 42.84) Double hit has %50 chance triggering in this power (its trigger chance based on powers base recharge) and hybrid has a 2min up 2min down toggle system.

    If double hit fires your 100 damage power now does 133.65+28.64 damage which is equal to 162.29 however if we get the %50 chance into calculation it is only 14.32 damage increase from double hit which is only for half time. So your total dps increase for this particular power will be 33.65+7.16= 40.81. Again this is assuming alpna is effected by ED.

    So for just the sake of this question assume I attack with a ranged blast from an energy blaster primary.

    The said attack does

    100 pts of dmg. (want to pick an even number if possible)

    having both t4 alpha and hybrid assult powers. what would the new dmg be?
  10. I recently saw a thread about why we dont pvp.


    I was just invited to a pvp zone for badges. It was not good. Maybe it was fail by design who knows...


    what i did see is that pvp was just as its always been. Alll the taunts, chats, broadcasts, were all the same... the pvp was 10 on 4 heros on vills then 10 on 4 vills on heros....


    what keeps you all pvping?


    i just dont get it.

    i spent three years + on pvp and its just like i left it broken, lame, boring, annoying, rude, ignorant, offensive, mean, cruel, and actually with racism, bigotry, and mysoginy.


    so why bother.

  12. Why was regen decided and not +def or +res.

    Since blaster sets already have such low regen how will it help the AT. Whereas +res or +def has a instant and definitive impact.

    Regen is +/- insofar as we have such a low number that any increase if your mezzed already or -regen'ed it will have no benefit.

    where if a +res or +def would have an instant impact if a blaster is mezzzed which seems to be the major problem with the at.


    Also i am not asking to make the at into a scrapper or brute but survivability from +res/+def is fromwhat i have seen more important to an at than +regen.

    A tank with +regen is great with an already high +regen number but ours is so low why was that decided?

    and my mm kills most Giant monsters in under 5 mins.

    fire fire on a fire dmg map such as infernal map and defeat all demons form harvey maylor.


    I will finish the entire map set anywhere from 50-54 faster than you can finsh half.

    my brutes, tanks, scrappers, stalkers, still out dmg my blasters by 100's of %s

    FACT!


    sorry but this is a crap nothing bonus.(yes its better than nothing)


    however for the amount of work it takes to do this why not fix this AT this is not a fix this is an appeasement.

    No the AT matching the description would. More dmg is what i want not more farmability. If a blaster could do massive dmg single target as the description says i would be impressed.     However my other toons still do massive massive massive amounts more dmg.

    More surviveable.

  19. I am glad that they are helping the AT.


    However i am unimpressed.

    My brute, scrapper, tank still will rock out my blasters there is nothing in DPS help and nothing in these buffs that actually fix anything.


    Ok i am a cynic.


    However my brutes are out of control insane in farming and killing and dps.


    maybe 200% over my unblasters.

    so i feel that for all the work they are doing a giant MEH!

    that is not ranged.

    Many of the descriptions in this game are 8 years old and things changed. What did not change is blaster survivabilty and the highest dmg in game.

    That award goes to scrappers and brutes in my book.

    hell my tank cant out kill my blaster.

    blasters are not even the best at single target killing my MM crushes gms in minutes and avs are not even a thought solo. On blaster its a challenge.

    only assult and dual pistols have no aim

    dark gets both in one. Devices gets cloak and a targeting drone so its kinda like aim or it would be a stacking aim,

    everything else has bu or bu/aim combo

    so only two sets out of all of them dont get a bu/ and aim some get both in one power so you could make a stacking bu/aim bu or aim blaster which sounds fun


    anyways its not as limited as you might think its only two promaries out of every possible combination that do not have aim(only)

  24. I have not PVP'd in the last several years for many reasons. Most of them commented on here. I for one was most annoyed with all the nerfs that many toons got because of pvp.

    Veats(widows) were great than stunk
    Rad def/trollers were great then stunk then great
    Blasters that had slows were great till they stunk then were ok
    I had a tank that was unkillable then i13 and he stunk.
    End drain toons were great when you could de-toggle then they changed it.

    Just some examples if what happend to me.

    However there are many more changes than i can even remember its been so long.

    And one of the things that i always hated most of all in this game are nerfs. Instead of buffing or upping the potential of under powered or under performing at's or powersets they nerf the good ones. (there are of course exceptions) However for a long time it seemd only nerfs were the way to go.
