Way to kill the mood, trickshooter T_T
I didn't know those #'s though, ur right I hope they do bump TA up to at least controller values. And archery should NOT have defender numbers, I want more dmg not a duplicate of my defender -
Not only can I have a TA/Arch defender blue side, but now I can have an Arch/TA corrupter red side! It's genious! I honestly can't wait to see how this toon is gonna play with the higher dmg scaling. My defender can put out some good numbers, but the corr is gonna be just, *drool*

I was planning on making an arch/TA corr as well, but I couldn't find a guide on how to manipulate mids for it T_T
I guess I'm just a sucker for that "complete set" look :P Good suggestions with ragnorok/AA and I didn't realise that I didn't have a 4th basilisk >_< (had it in an earlier version I think)
I wanted to max out my assistance to the team with the -res in OSA, though I'm still not sure just how many times that proc will fire. Is it a one time thing, or a 10sec pulse, etc?
I'll keep glue arrow however small the ranged def is :P I guess I don't mind swapping the UB: Hold. The hold duration is currently at 59s w/o Power Build Up >_<
Regarding explosive arrow, I wanted to use as a "get outta my face" kind of thing. And I rathered the more reliable recharge bonus in Kinetic Crash rather than the chance for 100% recharge in Force Feedback. I don't think there are any other knockback sets that give +recharge.
I disagree that acid is overslotted, though analyze weakness doesn't have amazing set bonuses, I wanted to get the most out of the -def, and stretch that further with the -res. Just my playstyle I guess :P My reasoning behind aimed shots slotting is that it's a blaster power on defender modifiers. I'd rather focus on my debuffs than my lackluster dmg.

I have a TA/Arch and I love it. Considering /arch on a defender, well, there are better options for team play. But it really shines in solo and allows a defender to go in on his own in missions. (solo missions, that is) On teams you'll do a lot more debuffing than "archering" but it's nice to have RoA to throw in when necessary. In terms of powers, my toon took:
Snap Shot
Aimed Shot
Fistful of Arrows
Blazing Shot
Explosive Arrow
Aim
Rain of Arrows
As a defender, dmg isn't really a priority, so i've been considering respec'ing out of aim and into Stunning Shot. However, aim provides for some noteable dmg possibilities when used with RoA. Ranged shot isn't necessary for a defender, IMO. In the time you spend activating it, you could be setting up disruption,glue,oil, etc.
TA/Arch is definitely the most fun I've had with a toon. Go for it, you won't be disappointed -
You know, an animal summoning MM might be nice. Or an animal controll set. The animation for all its holds would be a monkey on the enemies' face!

That only happens if the player does not quit team before leaving. MA will hold their spot just in case they decide to log back on. So your team will be recognized as having more members than you actually have and new people wont be able to enter. Just make sure whoever leaves quits the team first. -

The bright glow of Frostbowe's Blazing Arrow slowly spread through the Herder's brown, verdant body. It began to crumble, falling apart in a heap of ashes when Frostbowe turned to the hostage. The sunlight pierced through his blue shades, revealing the somber tone in his eyes. He could not stay long.
"Was that the last of them?"
The young woman remained remained still, as if waiting for reassurance, waiting for the ok to run back home. She looked up at the hero's face, hidden behind the darkness of his shades.
"I...I, think so."
"Don't worry. I deal with the Devouring Earth a lot, if there aren't anymore you'll be fine."
Her reassurance had come. The woman got up, but still stared at Frostbowe. From the first time she saw a hero, she had always wanted to ask him a question. She had never been this close to one before, let alone saved by one. It may have been her only chance, but she was silent. Frostbowe was getting anxious; the Devouring Earth were a strong and copious enemy; he didn't have time to chit chat with hostages.
"There's a ferry passing by. They'll see you from the beach if you hurry."
His work done, Frostbowe turned away, holsted his bow, and began to walk off. The woman remained on the grass, her heartbeat increasing, telling her to move, telling her to stop her rescuer. She couldn't just let him walk away.
"Hold on a sec!"
Frostbowe looked over his shoulder. The woman was running towards him now, her frilled skirt blowing in the wind.
"The beach is that way."
"No, no. I need to ask you something."
"...Yes?"
"Well...um, what's it like? Flying, I mean."
The light wasn't on Frostbowe's face anymore. The woman could not see his eyes widen behind the blue shades. He was genuinely surprised the citizen asked such a thoughtful question. Flying? He never thought of it before, and now this woman wanted him to give a profound description of the feelings he felt when soaring the skies.
"Well...."
Her face lit up with curiosity; after all this time, she had gotten close enough to a hero to ask her question, and now it would be fulfilled by her rescuer. Frostbowe wasn't sure how to give his answer, but he did so with honesty and certitude.
"I can't fly."
