Advice on archery DEF power set
I have a TA/Arch and I love it. Considering /arch on a defender, well, there are better options for team play. But it really shines in solo and allows a defender to go in on his own in missions. (solo missions, that is) On teams you'll do a lot more debuffing than "archering" but it's nice to have RoA to throw in when necessary. In terms of powers, my toon took:
Snap Shot
Aimed Shot
Fistful of Arrows
Blazing Shot
Explosive Arrow
Aim
Rain of Arrows
As a defender, dmg isn't really a priority, so i've been considering respec'ing out of aim and into Stunning Shot. However, aim provides for some noteable dmg possibilities when used with RoA. Ranged shot isn't necessary for a defender, IMO. In the time you spend activating it, you could be setting up disruption,glue,oil, etc.
TA/Arch is definitely the most fun I've had with a toon. Go for it, you won't be disappointed

Don't do arch. It's not nearly as awesome as it's blaster other. If your going TA I would recommend /ice for AoE goodness /sonic for stacking -res or you could even make a corr and go fire/TA ( I've had a feeling about this combo for a while and was reeeeally hoping for it in PP 2.0 but ateast we got traps haha > )

Archery is great for AOE and single target. Target Boss then AIM + Rain of Arrows + Explosive Arrow + Blazing Arrow. That combo is available every fight once you have the powers slotted with recharge.

which is almost as good as aim + OSA + origin power + ice storm + frost breath for every mob with Aim + blizzard every now and again. however, im more bias towards ice because its awesome but i know Lumi has a very damaging TA/dark chain (that is a little reliant on procs IIRC from seeing the build, but I could be wrong). The only way i would make an archery would be for concept(which i dont do often) other than that just make a blaster.

Knowing that a blaster style would be much more beneficial, but I am curious on the archery set of the Defender. What is recomended? What powers that can be avoided? I prefer to be in teams and would this type of toon help the team?
I am wanting to create a toon with this power set b/c mainly of roleplaying purposes and would it be a fun toon to play?
